We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up the deep sorrow and loss expressed in this request. The pain of losing unborn children, the anguish of abandonment, and the weight of generations affected by brokenness is not lost on us. We stand in the gap for those who are suffering, those who feel forsaken, and those who have no refuge but the Lord. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are redeemed. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus, we urge you to turn to Him, for He alone is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).

The loss of innocent life, especially through abortion, is a grievous sin that wounds the heart of God. The Bible is clear that children are a heritage from the Lord, and the fruit of the womb is His reward (Psalm 127:3). To take the life of an unborn child is to defy the Creator’s design and to reject His gift. We must repent of this evil and turn from it, for God hates the shedding of innocent blood (Proverbs 6:16-17). Yet even in this, we know that God’s mercy is greater than our sin. We entrust these little ones to His care, believing that He receives them into His presence, for He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

For those who have been abandoned, whether by parents, spouses, children, or friends, we declare that the Lord will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Though earthly relationships may fail, God remains faithful. He is a father to the fatherless and a defender of the widow (Psalm 68:5). If you are without a home, a family, or a place of refuge, cry out to Him, for He hears the prayers of the destitute (Psalm 102:17). The Lord is your shelter, your strong tower, and your ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We rebuke the spirit of abandonment, betrayal, and despair that seeks to overwhelm those who are suffering. We command it to flee in the name of Jesus, for He has overcome the world (John 16:33). We also rebuke the generational curses and patterns of sin that have brought destruction to families. The blood of Jesus breaks every chain, and in Him, we are set free (Galatians 5:1). No longer must the sins of the fathers be visited upon the children, for in Christ, we are made new (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts broken for the lost, the abandoned, and the grieving. We lift up every unborn child who has been taken from this world, asking that You receive them into Your arms of love. Comfort those who mourn, Lord, and heal the wounds of those who have been forsaken. For those who feel alone, be their refuge. For those who are without a home, be their shelter. For those who have been betrayed, be their faithful Friend.

We repent, Father, for the sin of abortion and the shedding of innocent blood. We ask for Your forgiveness and Your mercy. Break the chains of generational sin and restore what has been lost. Raise up godly families who will honor You and cherish the gift of life. Strengthen marriages, Father, and bind them together in Your love. Provide for the needs of the abandoned, the orphaned, and the widow.

Lord, we declare that You are our hope and our salvation. There is no other name but Jesus by which we are saved. We trust in You, for You are faithful, and Your mercies endure forever. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

To those reading this, if you are struggling with the pain of loss, abandonment, or despair, know that God sees you. He knows your suffering, and He longs to comfort you. Turn to Him, for He is the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). If you have been involved in abortion, either as a mother, father, or participant, there is forgiveness in Christ. Confess your sin, repent, and receive His mercy. The Lord is near to all who call on Him in truth (Psalm 145:18).

For those who feel they have no one to turn to, we encourage you to seek out a biblical church or a godly community where you can find support and encouragement. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and we are here to walk with you in your time of need. You are not alone. God is with you, and He will never leave you.

Your prayer rises from a deep place, the ache for every life cut short, for every soul abandoned, for ancient wounds that still echo. We hear it and we join you, because these are the cries God Himself has always held close.

When grief stretches across whole generations and feels too vast to carry, we remember that no one slips through His fingers. The little ones who never saw the light of day, the forgotten children, the lonely and betrayed, each one is known and treasured by the Father who “gathers the lambs in his arms” (Isaiah 40:11). That truth doesn’t erase the sorrow, but it anchors us when the weight feels like too much.

Something simple that has helped others carrying this same burden is to give the pain a physical anchor: light a small candle in your home as a silent prayer for the unborn and abandoned, or write names (even if just “the unknown child”) in a notebook as an act of entrusting them to God. It reminds us that our prayers are more than words, they are real offerings of love. If you ever feel alone in this, many churches have pro-life prayer groups or support networks where you can link arms with others who share your heart. You don’t have to bear it by yourself.

For now, we simply pray with you: Lord Jesus, in Your mercy, receive every unborn child into Your eternal care, where no harm can touch them. Hold close the abandoned and the broken, the ones without home or family, the ones who feel forgotten. Shelter the vulnerable and be a father to the fatherless. And for the one who prays this prayer, grant deep peace, the peace of knowing that every tear is seen and that nothing is wasted in Your kingdom. Amen.

It is a bitter cry that rises from your soul, mingling the sorrows of the abandoned and the silent agony of the slain innocents. You have laid open a wound that bleeds before the throne of God, a wound made by man’s cruelty and his shameful forgetfulness of his own flesh. Yet, in this very groan, there is the raw material of mercy. When a soul can lament over such desolation, it is evidence that the icy heart has begun to thaw, that the Spirit of God is moving upon the face of the deep.

You speak of ancient generations cut off, of the curse that seems to run through bloodlines, and of the dreadful spirit that abandons and murders the unborn. These are the thick waters of human depravity, the fruit of our first parents’ rebellion. But remember this: where sin abounded, grace did much more abound. The mercy of God does not wait for us to be clean; it rushes into the desert, as it did for Hagar, at the very moment when all human hope has dried up. She sat by a well, but her eyes were blind with tears until the Angel of the Lord opened them. That same Messenger of the Covenant meets you now in your distress. He knows your case. He knows the forsaken ones, the little children cast out, the babes never given a name. He has not forgotten them. The tender mercy of our God is such that He thinks upon the sinful creature, man, at all. And for those who cannot cry for themselves, the unborn hurried from the womb to the grave, He who formed their inward parts has received them. Can a mother forget her nursing child? Yes, she may, but the Lord will not forget. His heart is far softer than any earthly parent’s. I charge you to believe that those little ones are before His face, for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

But what of the living? What of the abandoned wife, the betrayed husband, the lonely child, the brother and sister without a shelter? They, too, are the objects of His immense compassion. There is a City of Refuge set before you and all who flee to it. His name is Jesus Christ. The signposts are up, written in crimson letters, “REFUGE! REFUGE!” Delay not. This is no time for mere moaning; this is the hour to run. You speak of a madhouse and a beggar’s cry for mercy, ah, but Christ came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. He seeks the lost. He finds the outcast. When the gates of human pity are shut, the gates of His mercy stand wide open. Flee to Him! He requires nothing of you but your emptiness. He will not sell His mercy; He gives it freely. The tender mercy of God makes no hard demands, it bestows everything. It will give you a new heart, a new home, a new family in His church, and an eternal shelter under the shadow of His wings.

Yet let me press this upon you: do not make a false refuge of a mere general hope in mercy. There is a mercy that spares the tree one more year, that digs about it and dungs it, but if it brings forth no fruit of repentance and faith, it is at last cut down. The mercy of God in Christ is a holy mercy; it will make you hate the sin you once loved, and cling to the Savior you once despised. It will turn your face in the opposite direction. Have you been made to feel your guilt? Does your soul cry out, “God be merciful to me a sinner”? Then take heart, that is the sound hope. The mercy of God goes before you; it has been preparing your way. While you are yet speaking, He hears.

Lift up your head, then. Pray for the slain innocents, entrust them to the hands that were nailed for sinners. And for yourself and all the lonely ones you name, hear the wooing voice of Mercy as it pleads with you by the blood of the Lamb, “As I live, saith the Lord, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; turn ye, turn ye, why will ye die?” May you find in Christ a refuge for your guilty spirit, a home for your weary heart, and a hope that maketh not ashamed. The Lord’s mercy endures forever, and He will yet restore the years that the locust has eaten. Flee now, and find shelter.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The sorrow you describe is a wound that reaches many homes: unborn children treated as unwanted, families scattered, brothers and sisters abandoned, and no human shelter left. The Scriptures you recall are the right comfort. A mother may forget the baby at her breast, but God cannot forget. Father and mother may forsake, but the Lord will receive the abandoned one. Therefore bring these little ones not to a human tribunal but to the mercy of God. We entrust the unborn, the miscarried, and the murdered to the Judge who is also the Lover of mankind. They have done no sin; His compassion is wider than our despair.

But while we entrust the dead to mercy, we must not soften the truth about the living. The killing of the unborn is a grave evil, and the abandoning of family is a bitter fruit of the same hardness. Pray for the mothers and fathers who hate or despise their children, that the Spirit of adoption would break the spirit of abortion and abandonment in them. Pray also for those left alone, betrayed, or without shelter. God's mercy does not make sin small; it makes repentance possible and opens a door for the forsaken.

Do not let prayer remain only words. Do acts worthy of mercy. If you ask God to shelter the abandoned, become a shelter where you can. If you ask mercy for the unborn, let your own hands show mercy to the woman in crisis, the child without family, the friend betrayed. The things you wish to obtain from God, first impart to your neighbor. Mercy is the oil that carries light into dark places. God made all things in His goodness, and nothing incenses Him so much as our being pitiless. So let us not be pitiless, either toward the unborn or toward those who have failed them.

Let us pray: Lord Jesus Christ, receive the innocent children into Your care. Have mercy on the abandoned, the betrayed, the homeless, and the brokenhearted. Turn the hearts of mothers and fathers from hardness to compassion. Forgive us where we have been silent or cruel. Teach us to do acts of mercy, and do not leave us without shelter under Your wings. Amen.

The sorrow in this request is not hidden from God. Every abandoned wife and husband, every forsaken child, every brother or sister betrayed, every person without a house or a friend is seen by the One who made them. The unborn who are despised or destroyed are not outside his knowledge. The prophet's word stands: a mother may forget the child at her breast, and even if she did, the Lord will not forget. The psalmist knew the same truth: when father and mother forsake, the Lord himself receives.

You speak of ancient generations cut off and generations erased. That is a heavy thing to carry. Scripture does not soften the reality of human cruelty or the shedding of innocent blood. But the mercy of God is longer than the cruelty of man. It does not run out at the end of a generation or at the edge of a ruined family. It endures forever. That does not make evil small. It means the only place justice and mercy meet is in Jesus Christ, who bore the penalty for sin and still opens his arms to the guilty. Because of him, mercy does not have to ignore what was wrong.

The killing of unborn children is a grave evil. We do not ask blessing on the act, but we do entrust those little ones to God, who is just and good and who knows each life formed in secret. They are not forgotten. And for the living who feel abandoned, the promise is not a painted-over hope. Jesus himself was rejected by his own family, and he said a prophet has no honor among his own. He knows what it is to be written off. Yet he brings the forsaken into a family whose bond is deeper than blood, the household of God.

So bring all of this before him. Bring the children who have no home, the parents who have abandoned or been abandoned, the unborn who were denied welcome, and the generations that seem wiped away. You do not have to make the sorrow neat. Cry out, and he will hear. His mercy is not a reward for those who are whole; it is exactly for the broken. It is not given because we have shelter, family, or friends. It is given because he is merciful, and he delights to be found by those who call on him.

Let us ask him now. Lord, you see every abandoned soul and every unborn life that has been taken. You know the walls that have fallen, the families that have scattered, and the children who cry alone. We do not ask you to bless what is evil, but we ask you to show the mercy that endures forever. Receive the innocent who died before birth. Be a refuge for those with no house and no friend. Bring the lonely into your household. And in Jesus Christ, make mercy and truth meet for all who turn to you. Amen.
