God mercy Prayers often entrust innocent, aborted, or miscarried children to God’s care, asking Him to receive them into heaven. In the name of Jesus Christ mercy for it abandoned and murder unborn.

Abortive family ancients exterminate their generation.

Psalm 27:10Though my father and mother forsake (abandoned) me, the Lord/God will receive

Isaiah 49:15Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne?

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up the deep sorrow and grief expressed in this request, the loss of unborn children, the pain of abandonment, and the brokenness of families torn apart. The Word of God declares that children are a heritage from the Lord, a reward from Him (Psalm 127:3). Yet we live in a world where the innocent are often despised, where the vulnerable are discarded, and where the sacredness of life is disregarded. This grieves the heart of our Father, who knit each child together in the womb (Psalm 139:13-16) and calls them by name before they are even born (Isaiah 49:1).

The loss of unborn babies, whether through miscarriage, abortion, or other tragic circumstances, is a profound wound that leaves scars on hearts and families. We must acknowledge the gravity of abortion, which is the taking of innocent life, a sin that cries out for repentance and healing. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He alone can bring comfort to those who mourn, restoration to those who are shattered, and hope to those who feel forsaken. We stand in agreement with the truth that God receives these little ones into His care, for Jesus Himself said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these" (Matthew 19:14).

The pain of abandonment, whether by parents, spouses, children, or friends, is a deep and isolating sorrow. Yet even when earthly families fail, the Lord promises to never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). He is a Father to the fatherless, a defender of the widow, and a refuge for the lonely (Psalm 68:5-6). For those who feel they have no place to turn, no shelter or refuge, we declare that God is your strong tower, your hiding place, and your ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He sees your tears, hears your cries, and collects every one in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). You are not forgotten, nor are you without hope.

We must also address the generational consequences of sin, as the request speaks of "ancient extermination" and the cutting off of future generations. The Lord warns that the sins of the fathers can be visited upon the children to the third and fourth generation (Exodus 20:5), but He also promises mercy to thousands who love Him and keep His commandments. Repentance breaks the cycle of destruction. If there has been sin, whether abortion, abandonment, or any other violation of God’s design, we must turn to Him in humility, confessing our need for His forgiveness and grace. The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9), and in Him, we find the power to break free from the chains of the past.

To those who feel like beggars, like outcasts without a home or family, we say: You are not alone. The Lord prepares a table for you in the presence of your enemies, anoints your head with oil, and causes your cup to overflow (Psalm 23:5). He is gathering the outcasts, the broken, and the lost, and He is making all things new. If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so today. He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and no one comes to the Father except through Him. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Turn to Him, and He will give you rest (Matthew 11:28).

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts burdened by the pain of loss, abandonment, and brokenness. We lift up to You the lives of the unborn who have been lost, whether through miscarriage, abortion, or other tragedies. We trust in Your mercy and goodness, believing that You receive these little ones into Your loving arms. Comfort those who mourn, Lord, and heal the wounds of those who grieve. For those who have participated in or been affected by abortion, we ask for Your forgiveness and restoration. Break the chains of guilt and shame, and lead them into the freedom that is found only in Christ.

Father, we pray for those who feel abandoned and alone. You are their refuge, their shelter, and their hope. Provide for their needs, surround them with Your love, and remind them that they are never forsaken. For those who have abandoned others, we ask for repentance and reconciliation. Soften hearts, restore relationships, and mend what has been broken.

Lord, we ask for Your protection over families and future generations. Break the cycles of sin and destruction, and raise up godly offspring who will serve You with whole hearts. Pour out Your Spirit upon the lonely, the outcast, and the broken, and let them experience the fullness of Your love.

We declare that You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who saves. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray, trusting in Your power to heal, restore, and redeem. Amen.

Thank you for letting us stand with you in this. The weight of so many losses, unborn children, abandoned wives and husbands, sons and daughters, the lonely and unhoused, is a lot for one heart to carry. We hear the compassion in your words, and we want you to know you are not praying alone. Grief that runs this deep often points to a love that is real, and God does not turn away from the brokenhearted.

If you or someone you know is facing homelessness or lacks a safe place to stay, please reach out to a local church or a Christian shelter ministry. They can often provide immediate help, a listening ear, and long-term support. You do not have to figure everything out by yourself, and sometimes the most faithful next step is simply letting another believer walk beside you.

Father, we come to You with hearts heavy for the unborn and for all who have been abandoned. We entrust every child lost before birth to Your mercy, knowing You are the Author of life and the Refuge for the forgotten. Draw near to every abandoned wife, husband, son, daughter, and friend. Make a way where there seems to be no way. For those without shelter, open doors of refuge and send caring people. And for the one bringing this request, renew their strength and give them Your peace that passes understanding. In Jesus’ name, amen.

A cry from the depths has come before the throne, and the Lord is not far from those whose hearts are broken. The sorrow you spread out is a tangle of many griefs, yet every strand is known to Him.

The blood of children shed before they see the light, the hatred of mothers and fathers, the forsaking of wife and husband, of daughter and son and the lonely child with no house or friend, all of it is the black fruit of sin. Do not be surprised that such things are ancient; from the first family onward the human heart has been a murderer and a fugitive. But the mercy of God is older still. Before the mountains were brought forth He purposed to save sinners by the blood of His Son.

Let the forsaken take that promise into their mouths: Though my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will receive me. Earthly refuges may be shut, but the pierced side of Jesus is an open shelter for every guilty soul that flees to it. You may have no home, no family, no friend, but if you come to Christ you have a Brother, a Husband, a Father and a dwelling place forever.

To those who have done the abandoning or have hated, and to those who have consented to the death of the unborn, the Gospel does not flatter you. The spirit that casts off and kills is not from God; it is from the devil, who was a murderer from the beginning. Your sin is real and no false hope of mercy will serve you while you cling to it. Yet the blood of Jesus Christ, God’s dear Son, cleanses us from all sin. God says, I will have mercy on her that had not obtained mercy. Turn from the sin, confess it, and trust Christ, and that word belongs to you.

For the little ones who never saw this world, we may not bless the deed that ended their days, but we may reverently leave them in the hands of the Judge of all the earth, who does right. He who took children in His arms and blessed them is not poor in mercy toward the least and most silent. Cast them by prayer upon the Lamb of God, and plead His blood for them, for there is no other name given under heaven by which any may be received.

Pray then that the God of mercy would go before the abandoned and lead them to His people. Pray that the murderous spirit of this age would be broken. Pray that the church would be a refuge for the fatherless and the betrayed. And pray for those whose hands are stained, that they might find in Jesus’ wounds a refuge from the storm that must sweep away the impenitent.

Lord Jesus, Son of David, have mercy upon the forsaken, the wandering, the lonely and the little ones. Gather them under Your wings. Stop the hands of those who would destroy. Break the hearts of those who hate. Speak to those who have no helper and show them that You are their portion. Save the guilty through repentance and faith in Your blood. Bring the desolate into Your everlasting habitation, for Your name’s sake. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has been heard and brought before the Lord with sorrow and with hope, for you have lifted up those who are most forsaken and those who have no voice.

You grieve for the unborn who have died, whether by miscarriage or by the hand of man, and for the generations cut off, and for every person left alone without house or family or refuge, wife without husband, husband without wife, parents without children, children without parents, brother and sister and friend abandoned and betrayed. The Scriptures you have recalled are true and full of comfort. Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me, and can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne. Even where human love fails, the mercy of God does not fail.

We pray together now that the Lord in His great goodness will have mercy. We entrust to His care every innocent child who has died before birth, despised or unwanted by mother or father, asking that He who made them and loves them will receive them into His heavenly kingdom. For the innocent are not forgotten before God, and the prayers of the lowly and simple, like those of little children, are able to entreat Him for mercy on behalf of the guilty.

We pray also for those who suffer the spirit of abandonment and for those who have taken part in the shedding of innocent blood, that God would grant repentance and forgiveness through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we are saved. May those who have sinned find that His mercy is greater than their sin when they turn to Him with a contrite heart, and may they sin no more.

We pray for every abandoned one you have named, the lonely children, the homeless, those wandering without shelter or refuge or friend to support them, that the Lord would provide for them a place of safety and people of mercy to care for them. Nothing is so characteristic of a Christian as mercy, and nothing so draws God to us as when we show mercy ourselves. Mercy is like oil that gives light and quenches fire, and almsgiving and compassion deliver from death. Let us therefore not only pray with words but follow with deeds, opening our hands and our homes to the needy, that we ourselves may obtain mercy in the day of judgment. For God has already shown us His mercy first, and calls us to follow after Him in showing mercy to others.

So we ask the Father of all mercies, in the name of Jesus Christ His Son, to comfort the afflicted, to shelter the homeless, to heal the brokenhearted, to forgive the repentant, and to gather the little ones into His eternal care. May He make us merciful as our Father in heaven is merciful, that His kingdom and His compassion may be seen among us. Amen.
