We hear the deep anguish in your cry for the unborn, the abandoned, the betrayed, and the brokenhearted. The loss of life, especially the most innocent among us, grieves the heart of God, who knit each child together in the womb (Psalm 139:13-16). The shedding of innocent blood, whether through abortion or miscarriage, is a profound tragedy, and we stand with you in mourning the lives lost to a world that has turned from God’s design.
The Scripture you referenced from Psalm 27:10 reminds us that even when earthly parents forsake their children, the Lord will take them up. This is our hope for every unborn child whose life was cut short, they are now in the arms of their Heavenly Father, who loves them with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3). Isaiah 49:15 assures us that God’s compassion far exceeds even that of a nursing mother. He does not forget the little ones, and He will judge those who have defied His commandments by taking their lives.
We must also address the defiance and disobedience you mentioned, for Scripture is clear that rebellion against God’s ways brings destruction (Proverbs 14:12). The extermination of generations through abortion is a consequence of a society that has rejected God’s authority. Yet even in this darkness, we are called to be light, to speak for those who cannot speak for themselves (Proverbs 31:8), and to pray for repentance and healing.
For those who have suffered abandonment, whether by parents, spouses, or friends, we declare that God is your refuge. He is a father to the fatherless and a defender of the widow (Psalm 68:5). He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). If you are without shelter or support, cry out to Him, for He hears the prayers of the destitute (Psalm 102:17). We also encourage you to seek out godly community, for the body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2).

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, mourning the loss of precious lives, those taken before they could draw breath and those abandoned by the ones who should have protected them. Lord, we trust that You have welcomed these little ones into Your presence, where there is no more pain or sorrow (Revelation 21:4). We ask for Your mercy on those who have participated in or supported the taking of innocent life. Bring them to repentance, Lord, and let them know the forgiveness that is found only in the name of Jesus Christ.
For those who feel forsaken, we pray that You would be their shelter and their strength. Provide for their needs, both physical and spiritual. Heal the wounds of betrayal and abandonment, and restore what has been broken. Raise up godly men and women to stand in the gap for the fatherless and the widow, that they may know Your love in tangible ways.
Father, we also pray for revival in our land. Soften the hearts of those who have hardened themselves against Your truth. Let them see the value of every life, from conception to natural death, and turn from the culture of death that surrounds us. May Your church rise up with boldness to proclaim Your Word and defend the helpless.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His sacrifice that we have access to You, and it is by His blood that we are redeemed. Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and Your promise to never leave us. To those reading this who do not yet know Jesus as their Savior, we urge you to turn to Him. He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). No one comes to the Father except through Him. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
