We join you in this heavy and compassionate prayer for the unborn and for all who are suffering abandonment, loss, and brokenness in families and neighborhoods, and we hear your heart crying out for mercy.

We agree with you that every unborn life is precious to God and that abortion is the taking of innocent life which God forbids. You shall not murder. Exodus 20:13 And we know that God Himself is the Creator of life in the womb. For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb. Psalm 139:13 Before I formed you in the belly, I knew you. Before you came out of the womb, I sanctified you. Jeremiah 1:5 When a generation is cut off through abortion, it is indeed an extermination of those who would have lived to see the next generation, and God sees and grieves this shedding of innocent blood. We must speak the truth that abortion is sin in the eyes of God, whether chosen by a mother or father or pressured by others, and it requires repentance. Yet we also know that there is forgiveness and mercy for all who repent and turn to Jesus Christ, for His blood covers all sin when we confess and believe in Him.

We also lift up with you all who feel abandoned, those without house, family, friend, or refuge, wives and husbands forsaken, daughters and sons left alone, children abandoned, brothers and sisters betrayed, neighbors living in disorder and confusion. The Lord sees every lonely and suffering soul. When my father and my mother forsake me, then Yahweh will take me up. Psalm 27:10 Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, these may forget, yet I will not forget you. Isaiah 49:15 Look, I have inscribed you on the palms of my hands. Isaiah 49:16 God has not forgotten the unborn, nor has He forgotten those left without shelter or family. He is our refuge and shelter in every storm.

We thank you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only by that name we have access to the Father and receive mercy. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 We pray that all who are suffering, and all who have participated in or been wounded by abortion, would come to Jesus in repentance and faith and find healing, forgiveness, and eternal life.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of mercy. We entrust to Your care every unborn baby who has died through abortion, miscarriage, or abandonment. Lord, receive these innocent ones into Your presence. We believe Your word that says allow the little children, and do not forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these. Matthew 19:14 Give them rest and peace in Your heavenly kingdom. We ask Your mercy for the mothers and fathers who have rejected or hated their own children, that You would bring conviction, repentance, and healing, and that You would forgive those who turn to Jesus. We pray for every person suffering abandonment and loneliness, for every wife, husband, son, daughter, brother, sister, and friend who feels forsaken with nowhere to find refuge. Be their Father, their shelter, their provider, and their comforter. Heal the broken families and neighborhoods, cast out every spirit of confusion and destruction, and restore what has been lost. Bring shelter to the homeless, family to the lonely, and hope to the despairing. Let Your church rise up to care for the vulnerable and protect life. We ask all this in the merciful and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand for life, to speak gently and truthfully about God's design for family and marriage, and to offer the hope of the gospel to those around you who are hurting. God hears your prayers as a beggar before Him, for He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18 Keep interceding, keep sharing the compassion of Christ, and trust that He will receive all who come to Him.

We hear the weight you are carrying as you pray for so many around you, for unborn children, for families fractured by abandonment, for neighbors who have no house or shelter or friend to turn to, and for your own community where there is so much disorder and hurt. It is a tender and Christlike thing to bring all of this before the Lord, especially the little ones, trusting them to His mercy and care.

Carrying grief for that many losses at once can feel overwhelming, even when the loss is not only your own. It is understandable to feel sorrow and heaviness when you see generation after generation touched by death, rejection, and loneliness. The Lord sees each of those children and each person who feels forsaken or alone, and He sees you as you intercede for them.

If you are walking closely with families who are without stable housing or support, it can help to connect them, when you are able, with a trusted pastor or a local congregation or community care ministry who can offer practical help alongside prayer. And if this burden feels very heavy for you personally, please reach out to someone you trust to share it with, so you are not carrying it alone.

Father, we lift to You every child entrusted to Your care and every person in this community who feels abandoned and without refuge. Bring Your comfort to those who grieve, Your provision to those without shelter, and Your peace to our friend who is praying so faithfully. Guide each step with Your wisdom and mercy. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer carries a very heavy burden of sorrow, and it is right to bring such griefs before the Lord who hears the cry of the broken hearted.

There is a great ill in this world, a broken heart in many forms, and you have named them well, the abandonment of wife and husband, of daughter and son, of brother and sister and friend, the loneliness of children without shelter, and the deepest sorrow of unborn children despised and destroyed. The Lord does not turn away from such wounds. He who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds has shown us that even the least thing about Christ is healing, for the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation, to change the life blood and make the nature new.

You have quoted the precious word, Though my father and my mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me, and again, Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne. Though man may forget and forsake, the Lord does not forget. He receives those who have no house, no family, no friend to refuge them, for He Himself is our refuge and shelter. He pities and He heals their broken frame, He hears their sad complaints and spies His image in their weeping eyes.

Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction in Christ. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, and pardon and healing were one. Calvary is the place for the healing balm. There the great Physician applies the remedy, not merely to point out disease but to cure it. For those who mourn the loss of little ones, whether by miscarriage or by the sin of man, we may entrust those innocent children to the care of a merciful God, asking Him in His compassion to receive them, for such is the tenderness of Him who gathers lambs in His arms. And for those who suffer under guilt or abandonment, there is pardon and healing together through the blood of Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.

Let us pray together.

O Lord God, merciful and compassionate, who will not forsake those whom man forsakes, look upon all who suffer abandonment and loss in this generation. Be Thou a Father to the fatherless, a shelter to those without house or home, a friend to the friendless, and a refuge to the lonely. Lord, receive the little ones who have been denied life, the aborted and miscarried, and gather them in Thine everlasting arms. Grant rest and peace as only Thou canst give, and let Thy healing leaves be laid upon every wounded heart in this neighborhood and in every place where disorder and betrayal have entered.

We ask for healing and pardon through Jesus Christ Thy Son. Forgive sin, heal the wound of abandonment, restore what is broken, and turn hearts to seek Thy face. Let those who have despised life find repentance and find that Thou art able to heal though they have wandered far, for Thou sayest, Return, return. Let those who grieve be comforted by the Sun of Righteousness risen with healing in His wings, till Thou shalt make them without spot or wrinkle.

We ask this not because we are worthy, but because Christ is worthy, and His blood and righteousness are our only plea. May all who hear learn to hear with care and to come to Christ for pardon and healing, and may they find in Him both forgiveness for sin and power to walk in holiness before Thee. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our salvation and our hope, Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has been heard, and the sorrow you carry for the abandoned, the forsaken, and the unborn is not overlooked by God. You have spoken of many kinds of abandonment, of wives and husbands left alone, of daughters and sons cast aside, of brothers and sisters and friends betrayed, of children without shelter or refuge, of neighborhoods in disorder, and of unborn children despised and even destroyed. It is right to bring all of this before the Lord with tears, for such grief is not empty.

The Scriptures you quoted give the true answer to this pain. Though my father and my mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me. And can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne, though she may forget, I will not forget you, says the Lord. Even when every human refuge fails, when there is no house or family or friend to receive us, God remains the refuge who does not forsake.

We join you in entrusting every innocent child, aborted or miscarried, to the mercy and care of God, asking that He receive them into His presence. We pray for His mercy upon all who have taken part in the shedding of innocent blood, that they would come to repentance and find forgiveness and cleansing through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we are saved. We do not ask God to bless what is contrary to His will, but we ask Him to heal, to forgive, and to restore where sin and death have done their work.

We also pray for those who remain and suffer the wound of abandonment, for the lonely children, for the parents who grieve, for those without a home or shelter, for those betrayed by family and friends. May the Lord provide for them a place of refuge, a community that will receive them, and daily bread and shelter in His providence. May He comfort those who mourn and turn their affliction into the pathway to lasting rest.

Hearing these things, let us fortify ourselves by striking our roots deep in His word and cleansing ourselves from worldly things, so that we are not ruined by indifference or softness while we look on at suffering. Let us grieve with a grief that is the mother of joy, shedding tears that become seeds of joy, rather than seeking a fleeting laughter that ends in emptiness. Even as a mother grieves for her children with a love that finds sweetness in the midst of pain, so we are called to carry one another in prayer with labor and care until Christ is formed in us.

We will continue to pray that you and all who have been abandoned would know that you are not forgotten, that the Lord hears the beggar's prayer for shelter, and that He will be your shelter. May He grant you perseverance in prayer, and may all who have lost so much find in Him the family and home that does not pass away, and in the age to come, the rest and peace of heaven through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Your burden for those who suffer abandonment and for the loss of unborn life is heard, and it reflects the heart of God who sees every sorrow. You have lifted up those who feel forsaken by father and mother, by husband or wife, by son or daughter, by brother or sister and friend, those left without house or family or refuge, even children left alone. You have also lifted up the little ones who were despised or rejected before birth, whether through abortion or miscarriage, and entrusted them to the mercy of God.

Scripture gives us a sure promise for both. Though my father and my mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me, Psalm 27:10. And the Lord asks, can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne, Isaiah 49:15. Even when human love fails, His compassion does not fail. He does not forget. He receives those who are abandoned and He gathers those little ones to Himself. We can entrust every innocent child, aborted or miscarried, to His care, asking Him in the name of Jesus Christ to receive them into heaven where they rest in peace. For their sake we can have confidence, because to be with Him is to be in the safest place, and it is out of compassion for the grief of those left behind that our hearts ache so deeply.

Much of the ministry of Jesus was given to healing, and a large part of the Gospels shows Him touching and healing those who were sick and afflicted. The prophet Isaiah said He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows, and that truth is applied to both spiritual and physical healing. Jesus bore our infirmities and our sicknesses. He is the Lord who heals, and He becomes to us whatever our need requires. If we need salvation He is our Savior, if we need refuge He is our shelter, if we need healing He is our healer. I believe God still heals today and that He is still interested in touching the physical and emotional maladies of His people.

At the same time there is much about healing we do not understand. In the Gospels we see healing sometimes instantly, sometimes gradually, sometimes with a touch, sometimes with only a word, sometimes from a distance. Any true healing process is from God, whether it comes in a moment or step by step over time. He also heals the wounds of the mind and heart, the scars left by abandonment and grief and loss. And His work is sovereign. His ways are not our ways and are beyond our finding out. We do not know why some are healed and others are not in this life, and it is wrong to place guilt on those who suffer or on their families as if lack of faith or hidden sin must be the cause. Healing remains in God's hands.

For those you described who have no house, no family, no friend to be a refuge, pray that God Himself will be their refuge and shelter and family. He is near to the brokenhearted and He collects our tears. For parents who have rejected their children, and for a neighborhood marked by disorder and betrayal, pray for mercy, for repentance, and for the transforming grace that comes only through faith in Jesus Christ. For those who grieve the loss of a generation, pray that the Lord will comfort them with His presence and gradually heal the deep sorrow that can make life feel spent in grief.

May the Lord receive every abandoned one, may He keep every precious child in His heavenly care, and may He bring His comfort, His forgiveness through the cross, and His healing to every wounded heart that calls upon Him.
