God mercy Prayers often entrust innocent, aborted, or miscarried children to God’s care, asking Him to receive them into heaven. In the name of Jesus Christ mercy for it abandoned and murder unborn.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up the deep sorrow and anguish expressed in this plea. The loss of unborn babies, the pain of abandonment, and the devastation of families torn apart are wounds that only God’s healing touch can mend. We stand in the gap for those who are suffering, those who have lost children, spouses, parents, siblings, or friends, and we cry out for mercy, comfort, and divine intervention.

First, we must address the sanctity of life, for every unborn child is fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God. The shedding of innocent blood through abortion is a grievous sin, and we mourn for the lives lost. The Word of God declares, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart" (Jeremiah 1:5 WEB). These little ones, though their lives were cut short, are now in the arms of their Heavenly Father, where there is no more pain or sorrow. We entrust them to His care, praying that He would comfort those who grieve their loss and bring conviction to those who have participated in or supported such acts.

For those who have been abandoned, whether by a spouse, parent, child, or friend, we declare that God will never leave nor forsake you. "Though my father and my mother have forsaken me, yet Yahweh will take me up" (Psalm 27:10 WEB). The Lord is your refuge, your shelter, and your ever-present help in times of trouble. He sees your loneliness and your pain, and He promises to be a father to the fatherless and a defender of the widow (Psalm 68:5 WEB). We pray that He would surround you with His love, provide for your needs, and lead you to a community of believers who will stand with you in faith.

For those who feel they have no place to turn, no home, no family, and no refuge, we cry out to God on your behalf. The Lord is your dwelling place, and in Him, you will find rest. "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters" (Psalm 23:1-2 WEB). We pray that He would open doors of provision, bring godly people into your life, and give you the strength to endure. If you are in physical danger or despair, we urge you to seek help from local churches, Christian organizations, or trusted authorities who can assist you.

We also lift up those who have been betrayed by friends or loved ones. Betrayal cuts deep, but the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB). He knows the pain of betrayal, Judas betrayed Him, yet He still laid down His life for us. We pray that He would heal your wounds, restore your trust in Him, and give you the grace to forgive, even as He has forgiven you.

Most importantly, we must address the foundation of our hope: Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). If you have not placed your faith in Him, we urge you to turn to Him now. He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6 WEB). He died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins and rose again so that we might have eternal life. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16 WEB). If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9 WEB).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts broken for the pain and suffering in this world. We lift up those who have lost unborn children, asking that You would comfort them and remind them that their little ones are safe in Your arms. We pray for those who have been abandoned, betrayed, or left without refuge, be their strength, their provider, and their shelter. Lord, we ask that You would open doors of hope and healing for those who feel hopeless. Surround them with Your love and lead them to a community of believers who will walk with them in faith.

Father, we repent for the sin of abortion and the shedding of innocent blood. We ask for Your mercy and grace to cover those who have participated in or supported such acts, that they would turn to You in repentance and find forgiveness. We pray for a revival in our land, that the sanctity of life would be honored and protected.

For those who do not yet know You, Lord, we pray that they would come to faith in Jesus Christ. Draw them to Yourself, that they may experience Your love, Your peace, and Your salvation. Help us all to walk in obedience to Your Word, to love one another as You have loved us, and to be a light in this dark world.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

This request carries so many layers of loss it is hard to know where to begin, unborn children, whole family lines cut short, the abandoned, the homeless, and the deep ache of having no safe place or person to turn to. That kind of piled-up sorrow can feel crushing, as if you are trying to hold grief for an entire broken world by yourself. We are so sorry for the weight you are carrying.

Sometimes what presses heaviest in a prayer like this is the loneliness of it, the sense that nobody else is stopping to mourn these little ones or to name the pain of those who have been forsaken by everyone who should have loved them. But you are naming it, and that matters. Even when a loss happened in secret, or when a child was never acknowledged or grieved, the Lord sees. The pain is real, and it does not have to be carried alone.

One thing we have seen help carry this kind of layered sorrow is to find a trusted, mature believer or pastor and sit down just to speak one or two of these losses aloud, maybe the one that first stirred this burden. Grief that stays unnamed in our hearts can grow shapeless and overwhelming. When it is spoken and heard by someone safe, the burden often begins to feel more bearable, more human-sized. You do not have to walk through all of this at once, and you do not have to walk through it by yourself.

Lord, we lift to You every unborn baby the writer has held in prayer, all the little ones who were neither welcomed nor grieved. Hold them close, Father, in Your perfect mercy. For all who have been abandoned, for every person without family or shelter or friend, we ask for Your gentle provision and a place of safety. And for this weary prayer partner, wrap them in steady comfort tonight. Let them know they are not alone in seeing and carrying this grief. In Jesus’ name.

My dear friend,

I have read your heart's outpouring, and though the words are scattered as a wounded bird's flight, the cry is clear: a soul in anguish over the little ones never held, over families broken and forlorn. You have laid hold of a precious truth in the Scriptures you cite, and I would press it home to your soul.

Remember the word of the Psalm: "Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me." And the prophet asks, "Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, yet will I not forget you." See how the Lord sets His tender bow in the cloud for such as these! The unborn snatched away, whether by the mother's cruel choice or by the mysterious providence of miscarriage, they are not lost. They are gathered to the bosom of Him who said, "Suffer the little children to come unto me." He whose mercy is "slow to anger" and whose compassions fail not will surely receive those whom the world despised. No mother's hatred, no father's neglect, can bar them from the kingdom. They are safe in the arms of Jesus, where sin and sorrow cannot enter.

But what of the living who are abandoned, the wife, the husband, the son, the daughter, the friend left alone? Our God is the God who goes before us with mercy. Long before you cried, He knew your desolation. He has promised, "I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." There is a refuge for the houseless, a shelter for the betrayed. That refuge is Christ Himself. He was despised and rejected of men; He knows what it is to be abandoned. In Him, the friendless find a Friend that sticketh closer than a brother. Run to Him, I pray you, and lay hold of His covenant.

Pray on, dear soul, for all who suffer this abandment of soul and body. Pray that the God of all comfort would manifest His tenderness to them. But take heed not to imagine that His mercy is a soft indulgence that overlooks sin. He will by no means clear the guilty. Yet for the penitent, for every sinner who casts himself on Jesus, there is plenteous redemption. The innocent babes need no repentance, Christ's blood has covered them. For us who remain, let us flee to that fountain. I join my prayers with yours, that the Lord would shelter the outcast, bind up the broken heart, and turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just.

The cry of your heart rises like smoke from a great fire, and indeed the words of the prophet are the only solid ground beneath feet that feel they are sinking: “Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me.” Consider the depth of this promise. An earthly parent may forget, a spouse may flee, a whole generation may perish, but the Creator’s embrace is not a human embrace that falters. The God who formed the unborn child in the secret place does not forget the soul that never saw the light of day. His memory is not like ours. His compassion is not a shallow stream that dries up in summer. When the world casts out, He gathers in.

You speak rightly of mercy, for it is the very character of God the world most needs to see, and which He most desires to show. There is nothing so characteristic of a Christian, nothing which both unbelievers and all men so admire, as a merciful soul. Yet this mercy of God, which is our only hope, is a thing we must learn to imitate, not merely beg for. It is a great and marvelous light, and that light is kindled first in the heart that shows pity. Do you ask for shelter, for refuge, for children to be received into heaven? Then let your own soul become a refuge. Let your prayer be not a beggar’s cry alone, but a resolution that the mercy you seek for yourself and these lost little ones will pour from you onto the broken you meet. For if we wish to obtain mercy, we must first impart it.

You fear for the unborn, despised and hated, cut off without a name. Entrust them to the One who is all longsuffering. He who showed mercy on the chief of sinners, so that no one might ever doubt the possibility of pardon, will not turn away the innocent. His justice is perfect, yet He is ever minded to mingle mercy with it. The child who never committed a transgression is not a candidate for judgment but for the tender safekeeping of its Maker. Your anguish for the murdered and abandoned is a righteous wound. Let that wound not fester into despair, but let it be the wound of love that drives you to do what you can: to speak for the voiceless, to comfort the desolate, and to trust, with a faith that defies reason, that the One who is without beginning holds every forgotten soul in His own unending life.

Therefore, let this be your prayer and your labor: that the God whose mercy formed the world out of nothing will look upon our pitiless generation and not treat us as our sins deserve. Let us plead, not as those who demand, but as those who know they stand only by compassion. “Have mercy on me,” the mother cried, for her own soul was torn by her daughter’s malady. So let your soul be torn for these little ones and for the abandoned. In this tearing, mercy will find its home in you. And the light of that mercy will be your own shelter until the day when every tear is wiped away, in the name of Jesus Christ, who alone is our refuge.

We are deeply moved by the weight of your prayer request and the heavy burdens you carry for those who are suffering—especially for the unborn, the abandoned, and the brokenhearted. It is a sacred privilege to stand with you in intercession, lifting up these precious lives before our Heavenly Father, who alone can bring healing, mercy, and refuge.

We have been praying fervently for the families torn apart by loss, for the children left without shelter or love, and for the unborn who have been rejected or harmed.
