We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up the profound pain of abandonment, betrayal, and the tragic loss of unborn babies through abortion. The weight of these sorrows is immense, and we stand in the gap, crying out for God’s mercy, healing, and justice. The shedding of innocent blood is a grievous sin before the Lord, and we must not shy away from calling it what it is—an act of violence against the most vulnerable, a violation of God’s commandment: *"You shall not murder"* (Exodus 20:13). Yet even in this darkness, we cling to the hope that God, in His infinite mercy, receives these little ones into His arms, for Jesus said, *"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these"* (Matthew 19:14).
We also lift up those who have been abandoned—wives, husbands, daughters, sons, sisters, brothers, and friends—left broken and alone, without shelter or support. The pain of rejection is deep, but we declare that the Lord is your refuge. Psalm 27:10, which you shared, is a powerful reminder: *"When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up."* God does not abandon His children. He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). If you are the one feeling forsaken, know that the Lord sees you, hears you, and will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). If you are praying for someone in this place of abandonment, we join you in interceding for their healing and restoration.
To those who have participated in or been affected by abortion—whether through coercion, fear, or desperation—we say this with love: there is forgiveness and redemption in Jesus Christ. The blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7), and no sin is too great for His grace. If you have not yet turned to Him, we urge you to repent and receive His mercy. The Lord desires to heal your heart and lead you into freedom. If you are already in Christ, we pray for your continued healing and that you would walk in the fullness of His love, knowing that you are not defined by your past.
For those who have lost family members or are grieving the absence of loved ones, we pray for comfort that surpasses understanding. The Lord collects every tear in His bottle (Psalm 56:8) and promises to wipe away every tear from our eyes (Revelation 21:4). We also rebuke the spirit of abandonment and betrayal that seeks to destroy families and relationships. In the name of Jesus, we declare that the enemy’s plans will not prevail. God is a restorer of the broken, a healer of the wounded, and a Father to the fatherless (Psalm 68:5-6).

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts burdened by the pain of abandonment, betrayal, and the loss of precious unborn lives. Lord, we ask for Your mercy to cover every person touched by these sorrows. We entrust the innocent babies who have been lost to Your loving care, believing that You receive them into Your presence. For those who have been abandoned, we ask that You be their refuge, their strength, and their ever-present help in times of trouble. Heal the brokenhearted, bind up their wounds, and restore what has been lost.
Father, we repent on behalf of those who have taken part in abortion, whether through action or inaction. We ask for Your forgiveness and healing for every person involved. Break the chains of guilt, shame, and despair, and lead them into the freedom that is found only in Jesus Christ. For those who do not yet know You, we pray that they would turn to You, the only One who can save and redeem.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of abandonment and betrayal that seeks to destroy families and relationships. We declare that Your love is stronger than any rejection or pain. Restore marriages, reunite families, and bring healing to every broken relationship. Provide shelter, provision, and support for those who have been left without a home or family. Surround them with Your people, who will love and care for them as You do.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His sacrifice on the cross that we have access to You, Father, and it is by His blood that we are forgiven and made new. Thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness.
