We support those who are already there and already pitching in: ### and ### and many volunteer helpers from the region who have joined them. We know ### and ### personally and work directly with them on site here. They organized themselves right after the earthquake, know every family, know where the need is greatest, shop locally and bring the aid personally to the people. They drive to all houses, even the most remote ones, and bring the relief supplies exactly where they are most urgently needed. This is the fastest and most direct way available right now.

With the donations, the following is being purchased locally in Colombia: drinking water and water canisters, as the water supply has failed in many places, food and staple foods for families who have lost everything, mattresses and sleeping mats for all those who are now sleeping on the floor, clothing and blankets, as it gets cold at night, hygiene items and medicines for children, the sick and elderly people.

Purchases are made directly in the region, distribution is handled personally by ###, ### and their volunteer helpers, house by house.

100% of the donations are used for the aforementioned relief supplies and passed on to the helpers on site. We ourselves keep nothing of it, we cover our own costs privately. We will keep you updated here on the campaign page and on our social media channels, with photos and updates directly from the site, so you can see what your donation is achieving. Every donation counts. Whether small or large, every donation arrives and helps immediately. And if you cannot donate right now: that helps too.

Thank you very much, from us and from the people in ###.

We lift our voices together in prayer for the people of Colombia who are suffering in the wake of this devastating earthquake. Our hearts break for those who have lost homes, family members, and are facing hospitalization and emergency needs. We stand with them in this time of deep sorrow and hardship, trusting in the Lord’s mercy and provision.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. You are the God of all comfort, the One who sees every tear and hears every cry. We ask You to wrap Your loving arms around the people of Colombia, especially those who are grieving the loss of loved ones and struggling with injury and displacement. Lord, we pray for Your healing touch upon those in hospitals, that You would restore their bodies and bring them strength. Provide for their every need, food, shelter, clothing, and medical care, according to Your riches in glory.

We rebuke the spirit of despair and hopelessness that seeks to overwhelm them. Instead, we declare Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, to guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Father, we ask that You would raise up workers, both local and from abroad, to bring practical aid, emotional support, and the hope of the Gospel to those who are suffering. Let Your love be made known in tangible ways, so that many may come to know You as their Lord and Savior.

We also pray for wisdom and protection over the volunteers and organizations, like ###, who are on the ground providing relief. Bless their efforts, Lord, and multiply every resource they have so that none may go without. May the donations sent be used for Your glory, meeting the most urgent needs and bringing light into the darkness. We thank You for the generosity of those who give, and we ask that You would continue to stir hearts to contribute to this cause.

Father, we know that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask that You would draw near to the people of Colombia in this time of trial. Restore what has been lost, rebuild what has been destroyed, and renew their hope in You. May this tragedy not be in vain, but may it turn hearts toward You, the Author of life and the Giver of every good gift.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can approach You or be saved (Acts 4:12). May Your will be done in Colombia, and may Your name be glorified in the midst of this suffering. Amen.

To those reading this, we encourage you to stand with the people of Colombia not only in prayer but also in action. If the Lord leads you to give, we commend the efforts of organizations like ###, who are faithfully serving on the ground. However, we urge you to give with discernment, ensuring that your contributions are used wisely and for the purposes they are intended. Let us also remember that while material aid is crucial, the greatest need of all is the hope found only in Jesus Christ. Share this hope with those who are suffering, that they may find eternal comfort in Him.

Finally, we remind all who read this that our God is a God of justice and mercy. He hears the cries of the afflicted and will not leave them in their distress. Let us continue to intercede for Colombia, trusting that the Lord will bring beauty from ashes and turn mourning into joy (Isaiah 61:3).

Thank you for carrying the people of Colombia to us in prayer. Hearing about homes lost, families grieving, and so many in hospitals, we feel the weight of what these communities are facing after the earthquake, and we are grateful for your compassion that is already turning into action.

What you described about local volunteers who know every family and bring water, food, mattresses and medicines house by house is such a direct and dignifying way to help. Continuing to support those trusted hands on the ground, as you are doing, and sharing that link with others who may want to give, allows aid to reach the most remote places quickly. It also helps to keep praying specifically for both survivors and helpers, for rest at night in the cold, for healing for those hospitalized, and for comfort for those mourning.

In the days after a disaster like this, feeling overwhelmed, sleepless or on edge is a common human response to such loss, and steady presence from neighbors and the wider community matters so much. If you are in contact with families facing medical needs, please encourage them to stay connected to local medical care along with prayer.

Father, we lift the families in Colombia who have lost so much to You. Provide shelter, clean water and food, bring healing to those in hospitals, comfort those who grieve, and strengthen the volunteers bringing aid house by house. Give peace and hope in Jesus, and sustain all who are helping day after day. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We have heard your burden for the afflicted in Colombia and our hearts are moved with you before the Lord in this hour of earthquake and great sorrow.

Though the earth be removed and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea, yet God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. This is the comfort we have, that none of these things, not earthquake, nor famine, nor pestilence, can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. The quaking of the globe is terrible to behold, but there may be a heartquake of despair which is more to be dreaded, and we pray that none who have lost house and family and all earthly stay may be buried in despair, but may find hope in Him who alone is our shelter.

He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. There are many broken hearts now, those who mourn their loved ones, those who lie in hospitals, those who sleep upon the ground without home or comfort, those who are cold by night and hungry by day. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they urge us to seek the physician, but the Lord sees the deeper wound of the soul. We pray that He who took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses would draw near to every sufferer, that pardon and healing which are joined together in Christ would be known among them. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. May that healing virtue flow down to those in shelters and in sick beds, to children and to the aged, to change the life blood and make the nature new, and to give a peace which no earthly loss can take away, even peace in Jesus Christ our Saviour, through whom alone salvation comes.

We give thanks for those who have already set their hands to the work, the faithful helpers in the region who know each family and carry help house to house, even to the most remote dwellings. It is a good and direct way of love to buy bread and water, water vessels, mattresses and sleeping coverings, clothing and blankets, hygiene and medicines, in the region itself and to place them into the hands that need them most. May the Lord strengthen every volunteer and keep them in their labour of love, and may He supply what is still lacking.

We commend also the generosity which the Lord has stirred in many hearts to give, and to share the need with others. Remember that the soul is capable of heaven and its loss would be dreadful beyond all earthly loss, so while we seek to restore houses and to provide food, we must above all seek that souls find refuge in Christ. Gold and goods have their use for mercy, but they profit nothing if the soul be lost. Let our giving therefore be joined with prayer that those who have lost all may find all in Him.

We now pray together. O Lord our God, our refuge and strength, look in mercy upon Colombia and upon every family visited by this horror. Have pity upon those who mourn, comfort those who have lost their homes, provide water for the thirsty and bread for the hungry, cover those who are cold and heal those who are sick and wounded. Remember the children and youth, and raise up for them hope through those who labour for their good. Bless the hands that distribute help and let every gift be used faithfully for those in greatest need. Above all, grant unto the afflicted that they may know Jesus, who was wounded for our transgressions, that they may receive forgiveness of sin and healing of heart, and find in Him an everlasting home when earthly homes are shaken. Keep them from fear, establish them in faith, and let Thy peace rule in their hearts. Hear us for Christ's sake. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your burden for the people of Colombia in this earthquake has been heard, and we join you in bringing it before the Lord with thanksgiving for your compassion.

We pray for those who have lost homes and loved ones, for those who lie in hospitals, for those in need of medication, food, clean water, clothing and shelter. We ask God to have mercy on every family that is suffering, to comfort those who mourn, to heal the injured, to provide daily bread and safe shelter for those sleeping on the ground, and to grant wisdom and strength to all who are bringing help house to house, including the volunteers you mentioned who are buying and distributing supplies directly in the region. We thank God for every act of generosity, whether great or small, and for the desire to see that help reaches those in greatest need, and we pray that He will sustain those who give and those who go.

Scripture reminds us that earthquakes shake what can be shaken, and that fires and disasters can take away earthly possessions even while we are alive. For this reason we are urged not to build upon sand but upon the rock, which is Christ. What is built on Him remains firm when all else is shaken. In the night when Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises in prison, God sent an earthquake that opened doors and loosed chains, not to let them flee but to awaken the keeper of the prison to salvation. At the resurrection also the earth shook and an angel rolled away the stone, showing that God brings life and hope where there seemed to be only death and darkness. So we pray that even in this shaking, many hearts in Colombia would be awakened, that doors of help would be opened, and that the hope of the resurrection would be made known.

We ask the Lord to provide not only water, food, mattresses, blankets, hygiene supplies and medicine, but also spiritual and emotional comfort. We pray for true peace, which is found only in Jesus Christ our Savior, who alone is the way of salvation, and we ask that those who suffer would call upon Him and find refuge in Him. May He be their shelter when houses have fallen, their healer in sickness, and their lasting home when earthly homes are lost.

We will continue to pray with you for Colombia, for the families, for the children and youth, for the workers and volunteers, and for all who have lost so much, that God in His mercy would supply every need, restore what has been broken, and draw many to trust in Christ.

Thank you for bringing this heavy burden before the Lord and for your compassionate heart toward those who are suffering after this devastating earthquake. The loss you describe is overwhelming, homes destroyed, families torn apart, loved ones hospitalized and in need of medication, so many now in emergency shelters without basic supplies, food, water, clothing and a place to sleep. It is right to pray for them and to seek practical ways to help.

A major earthquake has a way of revealing how helpless we truly are. The ground that seemed so solid begins to sway and shake, and there is nothing we can do to stop it. Scripture speaks of this. In Revelation we read of a great earthquake such as has not been since people were on the earth, so mighty and so great, when the cities of the nations will fall. Isaiah also describes fear and the pit and the trap coming upon the inhabitants of the earth. These tremors we experience now, as terrible as they are, are localized and limited, yet they remind us that a far greater shaking is coming, and the Lord has said that He will once again shake the earth so that only what cannot be shaken will remain. That unshakable foundation is found in Christ alone.

In the midst of such grief it helps to remember what is written in Lamentations, that though the Lord causes grief, yet He will have compassion according to the multitude of His mercies, for He does not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men. He sees every family that has lost a home, every person waiting in a hospital, every child who needs care, and His heart is moved with compassion. He is near to those who are brokenhearted and He has not forgotten them in their distress.

It is also encouraging to see how God has made provision for mercy even under the law. There was a law for the leper in the day of his cleansing, a way for one who was considered incurable to be examined, restored and brought back into community. That shows that God always leaves room to work, to heal and to restore when we might think there is no hope. In the same way, when the people of Israel were bitten in the wilderness, God provided a way of life simply by looking in faith at what He had lifted up. That provision points us to Jesus, who was lifted up for us. Whoever looks to Him in faith and trusts Him for forgiveness will live. The greatest need for every survivor, for every grieving family, and for each of us, is to receive the provision God has made for salvation through Jesus Christ. That is where true and lasting peace is found, even when everything around us has been shaken.

Your desire to give and to help provide water, food, mattresses and sleeping mats for those sleeping on the ground, warm clothing and blankets for the cold nights, hygiene items and medicine for children, the sick and the elderly, is a tangible expression of the love of Christ. Buying supplies near the affected area and delivering them personally house to house, even to the most remote homes, is a direct and effective way to meet urgent needs. That kind of personal, accountable care, where what is given goes directly to those who need it most and where those helping know each family and where the need is greatest, honors the Lord and truly helps people. Every gift, whether small or large, matters, and even when someone cannot give financially, praying, sharing the need with others, and offering emotional and spiritual support is a real help.

We join you in prayer for these dear people. We ask the Father to comfort those who mourn the loss of loved ones, to provide shelter and a new home for those who have lost everything, to supply clean water and daily food, to heal those who are injured and to provide the medication and care they need, to strengthen the volunteers who are carrying help to each house, and above all to draw many hearts to find peace and hope in Jesus Christ the Savior, who alone can give peace that remains when all else is shaken. May the Lord sustain you as you continue to intercede and to give, and may He use your compassion to show His mercy to many.
