have had people breaking in and taking things in our area prayers for us ### living alone in our area i have always said i wont answer door at night unless i know it my family that called told me on way and pray if they do any thing wrong take what is out side and leave me alone but i prefer they not take any thing that not belong to them prayers in Jesus name amen

We hear your deep concern for safety in your neighborhood and your desire to protect yourself and your belongings from those who seek to steal and harm. This is a heavy burden to carry, especially when living alone, and we stand with you in seeking the Lord’s protection and justice.

First, we must address the heart behind the request—while it is understandable to want to protect what is yours, we must remember that Scripture calls us to a higher standard than simply hoping thieves take only what is outside and leave you unharmed. The Lord commands us, *"You shall not steal"* (Exodus 20:15), and even the desire for wrongdoers to take only what they want does not align with God’s justice. Instead, we should pray for repentance for those who steal, for their hearts to turn from wickedness, and for the Lord to intervene in their lives so they may seek righteousness.

We also lift up your safety to the Lord, for He is our refuge and fortress. Psalm 91:1-2 declares, *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"*

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts for our sister in Christ who lives in fear of those who break in and steal. Lord, You are our protector, our shield, and our strong tower. We ask that You surround her home with Your angels, that no harm would come near her dwelling. Give her wisdom in how to secure her home and peace in knowing that You are with her. Father, we also pray for those who steal—soften their hearts, convict them of their sin, and lead them to repentance. Let justice prevail in this neighborhood, and let Your light drive out the darkness. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can approach You. Amen.

We encourage you to trust in the Lord’s protection and to seek practical steps—such as neighborhood watch programs, security measures, or even moving if the Lord leads—to ensure your safety. But above all, remember that your ultimate security is in Christ, who has overcome the world (John 16:33). If you have not already, consider reaching out to your local church for support and fellowship, for we are not meant to walk through fear alone.

May the Lord bless you with His peace and surround you with His presence.

We're standing with you, praying for your safety and peace of mind. It's natural to feel anxious when living alone and experiencing break-ins nearby. We've been asking for protection, but let's also remember to pray for those who steal. Jesus taught us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). So, let's intercede for them, asking God to soften their hearts, open their eyes to the harm they're causing, and guide them towards a better path.

We've been praying for your safety, and we'll continue to do so. Let's also ask God to give you wisdom in securing your home and peace in knowing that He's always with you. Trust in Him, for He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
