We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your request for healing, blessings, and provision. First, we want to acknowledge your faith in declaring sickness and problems to leave in the mighty name of Jesus. That is a powerful truth—Jesus has given us authority over all the power of the enemy, and we stand on that promise with you. *"Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you"* (Luke 10:19).
Father God, we lift up this dear one’s health before You, the Great Physician. You see the struggles with high blood pressure and gastritis, and we ask for Your healing touch to restore strength, balance, and peace to their body. *"He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions"* (Psalm 107:20). We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and command it to leave in Jesus’ name. We pray for wisdom in diet, rest, and medical care, trusting You to guide each step. Lord, grant them discipline and perseverance as they seek to honor You with their body, which is Your temple (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).
We also lift up their family, though the specifics were unclear. Father, You know every detail—every need, every burden, every longing. We pray for their loved ones, that You would surround them with Your protection, provision, and peace. If there are hidden struggles—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—we ask You to reveal them and bring healing. *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). For the desire for a child, we stand on Your promise: *"He makes the barren woman dwell in her house as a joyful mother of children"* (Psalm 113:9). We ask You to open the womb in Your perfect timing and according to Your will, trusting that You know what is best.
For their need of a permanent job, we pray for doors to open that no man can shut. *"The Lord will open to you his good treasure in the heavens to give the rain of your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand"* (Deuteronomy 28:12). Grant them favor with employers, wisdom in their work, and contentment in every season. May their labor be a testimony to Your faithfulness.
We also want to gently address the importance of aligning every aspect of life with Your Word, including relationships. If there are any areas where sin has taken root—whether in thought, word, or deed—we encourage repentance and turning fully to You. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). This includes any relationships that may not honor You, such as fornication, adultery, or same-sex relationships, which the Bible clearly calls sin (1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Hebrews 13:4). If this applies, we urge seeking godly counsel and turning away from anything that displeases You.
Above all, we pray that their faith would remain anchored in Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If they have not yet surrendered their life to Him, we pray for the Holy Spirit to draw them close, that they may confess Jesus as Lord and believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). Salvation is the greatest blessing of all, and we desire this for them above every earthly need.
Lord, we declare Your promises over this family: *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is of me," says the Lord* (Isaiah 54:17). We bind every spirit of fear, lack, and sickness, and we loose Your peace, healing, and provision in Jesus’ name. May they walk in the fullness of Your blessings, not just for their sake, but so that Your name may be glorified through their lives.
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer. Amen.
