Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Your desire for continued victory and for walking in the rest of Christ is good and pleasing to God, and we gladly join you in prayer for it.
We pray that the Lord Jesus Christ will keep you and strengthen you, that you may shun all sin and live with a pure conscience before Him. Scripture teaches that the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus makes us free from the law of sin and death, and it is by His Spirit dwelling in you, not by your own strength, that the war against sin is brought to an end and the contest is made light. Ask Him daily for that abundant help, for He slays sin and crowns you even at the start of the struggle.
True rest is found in Him alone. To live is Christ, and that life is not the common life of following our own desires, but a life died to sin and alive to God. When Christ is your life, you can say with the apostle, I no longer live according to the old man, but Christ lives in me. This is the rest you seek, to be so united to Him that your thoughts, your desires, and your actions are governed by Him.
For a holy thought life, keep your heart sprinkled from an evil conscience and your soul washed by His grace. The holy place does not receive those who cling to impurity, but God has provided a washing that cleanses the soul. Sin is the only true evil, and to be well pleasing to God is the only true good. Therefore pursue what pleases Him. Set your mind on what is pure and worthy of praise, bring every thought into obedience to Christ, and be quick to turn from whatever would defile your conscience.
Do not be discouraged if the battle feels continual. Whom the Lord loves He disciplines, and He often allows a measure of struggle to keep us watchful and humble. The victory is shown not only in private disciplines like fasting and self denial, which profit your own soul, but also in love that flows outward to others in kindness, generosity, and truth. Both kinds of good works together show that Christ is at work in you.
We pray for you now: Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, grant to this dear one continued victory over sin, a deep rest in Christ, and a mind kept holy and fixed on You. Keep his heart sprinkled clean from an evil conscience, fill him with Your Holy Spirit, and make his life so pure that others may see his good works and glorify You. Keep him from willful sin, guard him from the fiery judgment that follows unrepented sin, and lead him in the excellent way of life that leads to the heavenly Jerusalem. Strengthen him to live not for this present world, but for Christ who is his life, now and ever. Amen.

Beloved of All
Your desire for continued victory and to walk in the rest of Christ and to have a holy thought life is itself a work of God's grace, and I join you in prayer for this.
The foundation for that victory is what Christ has already done. When we were without strength, Christ died for us, and through Him the love of God is poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. Because of that, we have a living hope. You have been given a new life, a spiritual life in Christ, and that changes everything.
Scripture teaches that we are to reckon ourselves to be dead indeed to sin but alive to God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Your old life governed by the flesh was buried with Christ, as pictured in baptism, and you have been raised with Him to walk in newness of life. Christ being raised from the dead dies no more, death has no more dominion over Him, and in that same way sin no longer has to reign as king in your mortal body. Christ now reigns. You do not have to yield to the motions of the flesh, even though you still live in a body of flesh.
That is why grace is not a reason to continue in sin. God forbid. We are dead to sin. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ. There are only two ways to live, as a servant of sin or as a servant of God, and in Christ you have been made a servant of righteousness, called to bear fruit unto righteousness as you abide in Him.
This victory does not come by trying harder in your own strength. Many believers labor under a works mindset, trying to be pleasing to God by effort, and they never enter into rest. The Sabbath rest in the Old Testament was a picture of the rest we are meant to experience in Jesus. You cannot rest in your own skills or efforts, you can only rest in faith. The place of initial victory comes when we cease from trying to do it ourselves and turn it over completely to Christ, so that it is no longer we who live but Christ who lives in us. We live this new life by faith in the Son of God who loved us and gave Himself for us.
For a holy thought life, God calls you to seek those things which are above, where Christ sits at the right hand of God. Since you have been raised with Christ and your life is now hidden with Christ in God, set your mind on spiritual and heavenly things. The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made you free from the law of sin and death. As you walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit, the Holy Spirit within you gives power over sin and brings fellowship with God, which is a life of fullness of joy.
If you do stumble, there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. Seeing Christ dying on the cross brings forgiveness, and seeing yourself crucified with Christ brings power over the principle of sin. God has victory for you no matter what the particular area of struggle may be.
I pray for you now that God will strengthen you to claim by faith what is already yours in Christ, that you will daily account yourself dead to sin and alive to God, that your mind will be fixed on Christ above, and that you will walk in the rest of faith rather than striving. May the Holy Spirit fill you with the riches of His love and grace, empower you to shun sin, guard your thoughts, and bear much fruit for Him, and may you know the peace and joy of abiding in Christ until He appears and we appear with Him in glory. In Jesus name, amen.
