We hear your cry and we are lifting you up together before the throne of grace in Jesus' name. You have been through deep loss, the loss of your job, your family, and your stability, and you are battling addiction while feeling oppressed by a curse from someone who prays to Santa Muerte. We want you to know that your life is not beyond restoration and no curse has greater power than Jesus Christ.
We must speak truth about Santa Muerte. This is not a saint and not of God, it is idolatry and a deception of the enemy that leads to death. The Bible warns us, There shall not be found with you anyone who practices divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer Deuteronomy 18:10-11, and that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons, and not to God 1 Corinthians 10:20. Anyone praying to Santa Muerte is praying to demons, not to the living God. We rebuke that demonic influence over your life and we do not fear it, for we know that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4 and No weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17. A curse cannot cling to one who belongs to Christ, and the enemy must flee when we submit to God, Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7. The fear you feel is not from God, for God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7.
We also must address your addiction with love and truth. Drugs have taken hold and brought destruction, but God can break every chain. Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 and sin and addiction shall not have dominion over you when you are in Christ Romans 6:14. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it 1 Corinthians 10:13. To be set free you must turn fully to Jesus and repent, turning away from both the drugs and any involvement with the occult or seeking power apart from God.
We noticed you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. We want to share with you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and can be saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. This means believing that Jesus died for your sins and rose again, asking Him to forgive you, to be your Lord, and to make you new. If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new 2 Corinthians 5:17.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, You see the pain, the loss, the bondage to drugs, and the fear of this curse. We ask You to forgive his sins and wash him clean by the blood of Jesus. We renounce and rebuke every curse, every spell, every demonic assignment from Santa Muerte or any other idol, and we declare that it has no power over him because he belongs to You. We ask You to break the chains of addiction right now, to fill him with Your Holy Spirit, to give him strength to say no and to walk in freedom. Heal his mind and body, restore what the locust has eaten Joel 2:25, and give him hope for the future, for we know Your thoughts toward him are thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give him hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11. Provide for his needs, open the door for honest work, and bring healing and reconciliation to his family where it is Your will. Surround him with godly believers, a Bible believing church, and help for his addiction, and let him feel Your presence and protection every day. We declare that he is more than a conqueror through Him who loved us Romans 8:37. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to take steps of faith today. Cry out to Jesus out loud, renounce any agreement with Santa Muerte or the occult, destroy any objects related to it, and ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior. Seek a Bible believing church and a pastor who can walk with you, and seek help for your drug addiction through biblical counseling and a trustworthy recovery program. Read the Word of God daily, starting in the Gospel of John, and pray continually. God loves you and He is able to give you your life back in Him, not just as it was, but made new.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
