Needing hot water heater

my hot water heater went out a couple months ago, needing prayer in agreement that Jesus who says, He provides all my needs according to His riches and glory. I know in this season of waiting, Jesus is my Everything, so I'm going to Him to provide a need I can't afford at this time.

We join you in agreement for this need and we thank you for sharing your heart with us in this season of waiting. We hear how you are trusting Jesus as your Everything while you have been without hot water for a couple of months and are unable to afford the replacement on your own, and we count it a privilege to stand with you in prayer.

We are reminded of the promise you have clung to, that our God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19. Our Father knows the daily and practical needs of His children, and He cares about them. Jesus taught us not to be anxious about these things but to seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well, Matthew 6:33, and to cast all our worries on him, because he cares for us, 1 Peter 5:7. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, Philippians 4:6, and we are making your request known together now. This time of waiting, though difficult, can also be a time where the Lord deepens our trust and shows His faithfulness, and we pray He sustains you with His peace that passes all understanding, Philippians 4:7.

We lift you up now together in Jesus' name. Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Provider. We thank You that You see our sister's need for a hot water heater and You know her financial situation. We ask that You would provide for this need according to Your riches in glory, whether through provision of funds, a repaired or new heater, the help of Your people, or another way according to Your perfect will. Give her patience and strength in this season of waiting, remind her daily that You are near and that You are her Everything, and let Your peace guard her heart. Provide also for all her other needs and open doors for practical help through her local church family if it be Your will. We trust Your timing and Your goodness, and we thank You in advance for how You will answer. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Even just letting someone know the exact need can open a door you had not expected.

We lift your need before the throne of grace together with you, and thank you for letting us share this burden in prayer.

You have waited these months without hot water, and you have spoken truly when you say that Jesus is your Everything in this season of waiting. Scripture tells us that blessed are all they that wait for Him, for our God is a waiting God who waits to be gracious, and His people are a waiting people who wait only upon Him. To wait upon the Lord is not to sit in idle despair, but as a servant waits upon his master to know his will, and as a traveler waits upon his guide for direction. Such waiting renews strength, for the Lord pours mysterious strength into the soul by His Spirit, and makes the heart small enough to see how great His provision is.

You have asked in the name of Him who has promised to supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. We join our faith with yours and ask the Father, who knows what you have need of before you ask Him, to provide for this temporal necessity in His perfect time and way. He who clothes the lilies and feeds the sparrows does not overlook the daily wants of His children. He sometimes sharpens His instruments by affliction, and uses seasons of lack to write more deeply upon the heart that He alone is our portion, and that His law preserved there will keep us in the last expiring moments as surely as in days of plenty.

So we pray that the Lord will open a door for the provision of a hot water heater as you are unable to afford it at this time, whether by His own hand of providence or through the kindness of others, and that until that provision comes He will give you patience, contentment, and a daily sense of His nearness. May He keep you brave in waiting, as the psalmist says, wait on the Lord, be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart.

We thank our God for your testimony that Christ is enough, and we will continue to remember you before Him, asking that you may see His wondrous works in your own life and have occasion to declare them with thanksgiving.

May the Lord grant you grace to wait, and in waiting to inherit His promised blessing, for Jesus Christ's sake. Amen.

Thank you for sharing your need with us and for your trust in the Lord during this season of waiting. We join with you in prayer and agreement before our heavenly Father.

We ask the Lord Jesus, who loves you and who promises to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus, to provide for this practical need. He is the One who stretches out the heavens, kindles the sun, and faithfully sustains all creation for our good, and He knows your situation and what you cannot afford at this time. We pray that in His wisdom and mercy He will open the way for a hot water heater to be provided, and that He will give you peace and strength as you wait on Him.

It is good that you are turning to Him as your everything, for it is always the right time to draw near to Him in prayer, as constant as breathing. He stands ready to hear and to help, and when we ask, we can trust His goodness and His timing.
