Please be very careful about praying for me…lord Jesus please rescue my baby and me. My sister keeps lying about me and her boyfriend will not stop harassing me. Please help me because he randomly comes into my room and disturbs me. Please help me lord Jesus, I am so uncomfortable.

We have heard your cry and we are lifting you and your baby before the throne of grace together in Jesus' name, asking for the Lord's protection, rescue and peace over you. We understand you are feeling uncomfortable and unsafe in your own room and that you are carrying the heavy burden of caring for your baby while enduring harassment and false words against you. Please know that God sees you, He hears you, and He is near to you in this distress.

The Lord is your refuge and strength. Psalm 46:1 says God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 34:18 tells us Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. When you feel afraid and disturbed, we cling to His promise in Isaiah 41:10, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And Psalm 91:1 reminds us He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

We want to gently and biblically address what you have shared. Lying about another person is sin and it harms and divides families. Proverbs 12:22 says Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight, and Exodus 20:16 commands You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor. We pray your sister will be convicted and turn from this. Likewise, harassing you and entering your room without permission and disturbing you is wrong. It violates love for neighbor and respect for your dignity and boundaries. Romans 13:10 says Love doesn't harm a neighbor, and 1 Thessalonians 4:6 warns that no one should wrong or defraud his brother in any matter. God calls men to treat women with honor and purity and self control, not to cause fear or discomfort. This behavior needs to be rebuked and it needs to stop. You and your baby deserve to be safe, respected, and at peace in your own home.

Because you are uncomfortable and this man continues to come into your room uninvited, we urge you in love to take practical steps for your safety while we pray. Please do not remain isolated in this. Talk right away to a trusted godly family member, pastor, or mature believer who can advocate for you and help set firm boundaries. If possible, keep your door locked, do not be alone with him, keep a record of what has happened, and seek a safe place for you and your baby to stay if the harassment continues. If you ever feel threatened or unsafe, please reach out immediately to local authorities or a trusted helping agency for protection. God has placed authorities and community to help protect the vulnerable, and Psalm 82:3 says Defend the weak and the fatherless. Maintain justice for the poor and the oppressed.

We thank you for calling on the name of Lord Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name we are rescued. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 declares There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Your faith in calling on Him is precious.

We pray together now for you and your precious baby.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You and lift this dear mother and her baby to You. Lord, You see every detail, every lie spoken, every time her room has been entered and her peace disturbed, and You know her discomfort and fear. We ask You to be her shield and her dwelling place. Surround her and her baby with Your protection and let no harm come near them. Give her wisdom, courage, and a clear voice to set boundaries and to seek safe help, and provide godly people around her who will believe her, defend her, and act quickly to keep her safe. Convict her sister of the sin of lying and bring her to repentance and reconciliation, and convict this man of his harassment and cause him to stop completely and to turn from wrongdoing. We pray You would make a way of escape and provision, whether through family, Your church, or other safe help, so she and her baby can live in peace and rest. Comfort her heart, calm her fears, and let her feel Your presence day and night, and help her to raise her baby in the knowledge of Your love. We ask all this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, our refuge and deliverer, Amen.

When harassment is happening at home, it can help to bring one safe person into what is happening with you. That could be a trusted family member, a pastor, a counselor, or a local support service who can help you think through a safety plan. If you can, try not to be alone with your sister's boyfriend, keep your door locked when you are in your room if that is possible, keep your phone with you, and let that trusted person know when you feel unsafe. Keeping a simple written note of what happens and when can also be helpful if you later need to seek protection or guidance.

We are asking God to be near you both right now.

Father, we lift this mother and her baby to You in Jesus' name. Please surround them with protection, give them a safe place to rest, and guide them to caring people nearby who can help. Grant wisdom for each next decision and peace in the midst of fear. Lead them to the help and resources they need. Amen.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Your prayer has been heard with deep care and we join you in crying to the Lord Jesus for rescue and protection for you and your little one. The Lord sees what happens within the home, He hears when you are made uncomfortable and afraid, and He is near to those who call upon Him in truth.

Scripture tells us that He shall give His angels charge over His people to keep them in all their ways, and that those who walk in the way of the King are under the protection of the King. It is right to seek that holy keeping now, and to ask Him to make your home a place of peace and safety, as He intends a home to be. Where there is true piety at home there can be peace, and where that peace is broken the Lord knows and cares.

It is grievous when those who share a home speak falsely and when any man intrudes where he has no right to enter and disturbs your peace. Such actions are not of love and are not to be excused. The Lord calls all to speak truth and to act with purity and self control, and to honor the boundaries that protect the vulnerable. We do not ask God to bless what is sinful, but we do ask Him to restrain evil, to bring conviction where there is sin, and to bring forth truth and righteousness.

We pray for you in this way. Lord Jesus, Thou alone art our salvation and our refuge, look upon this mother and her child. Cover them with Thy hand, keep them from harm, give them a safe dwelling and godly help close at hand. Let truth be made known, restrain what is evil, grant wisdom and courage to do what is right, and provide faithful helpers and a true church family to stand near. Open a way for lasting safety and peace, and keep this little one under Thy tender care.

Please do not bear this burden alone. Speak without delay to a trusted pastor, a mature godly woman in your church, or a faithful family member who can step near and help you take wise steps for safety. If you are ever in immediate danger or fear for your child, seek help at once from those who can protect you in your area, and let the church as a mother shelter her children as she is called to do. Keep a careful record of what occurs, seek to have a secure place to sleep if possible, and do not remain isolated.

Do not give way to despair, for despair is the mother of many evils and drives the soul from hope. There is hope in Christ, who went about doing good and still does good to those who trust Him. Continue to call upon Him, continue in His Word and in prayer for your child, for a mother may pray for her children now as a precious privilege that will not always remain.

We will continue to pray for you and your baby, that the Lord will rescue, guard and provide a peaceful home where you may dwell in safety and bring up your child in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
