Thank you for sharing your heart for your mother and for allowing us to pray for her. It is clear how much you love her and how hard it has been to watch her live with ongoing pain, tingling in her arms and leg, and the discomfort from pinched nerves in her back and neck. It is understandable that waiting for further treatment feels long, especially when she has already seen several doctors and is still hurting and longing for relief. Even the small improvement she has seen matters, and we share your desire for her to find much more comfort.

We do believe that God heals and that He is able to help today. At the same time, healing is not something we can command or control by a formula or technique. God remains sovereign over healing and gives as He wills, in His wisdom and love. There is much about healing we do not fully understand, including why some people experience immediate relief and others experience a slower process. What we can hold to is that God is compassionate, He hears our prayers, and He cares deeply for those who suffer.

Scripture also shows us that God often works through gradual processes. The body itself has healing processes that God designed, and those natural processes are no less from Him because they are natural. He is the one who created the body and its ability to mend. In that sense, the care of doctors, the wisdom they are given, and the treatments they provide, including the injection your mother is scheduled to receive, can be part of God's gracious provision. We can thank Him for those means and ask Him to use them for good, while also asking Him to do what only He can do.

Your persistence in bringing your mother to Jesus in prayer is right and good. Like the desperate mother who would not stop seeking Jesus for her child, we are invited to keep coming to Him, to bring our loved ones to Him again and again and not give up. Honoring your mother by caring for her, praying for her, and seeking help for her is pleasing to the Lord.

So we are praying for her now. We ask the Lord to show mercy and to lessen her pain and the tingling she feels, to bring rest and comfort as she waits, and to give wisdom to the doctors who are caring for her. We ask that the upcoming treatment would be effective and safe and would bring meaningful relief, and that her body would respond well. Above all we ask for His peace to guard her heart and yours, and for strength for each day. May He draw both of you closer to Himself through this trial and remind you that He is near, that He hears, and that He can be trusted even when healing comes slowly.
