Silas
Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing these burdens and allowing us to pray with you. We are bringing each of these needs before the Lord and asking Him to work in your family with His care and mercy.
For your sleep, we are asking God to give you quiet and restful nights. Scripture presents sleep as a gift from God and speaks of His word as a lamp and a light that watches over you when you lie down and speaks to you when you awake. When anxiety or weariness keeps you awake, He is still present to guard and comfort you. We are praying that He will calm your heart and mind, quiet your thoughts, and grant you deep, peaceful sleep in His safety.
For the pregnancy and delivery, we are praying for protection and health for both mother and child. God Himself established the natural processes of life and growth in the womb, and every part of that process is under His hand. We are asking Him to sustain strength, to keep both safe through the months ahead, and to bring a safe delivery in His timing.
For your loved one with cancer, we are praying earnestly for healing and for grace through this trial. The Bible shows that Jesus healed in many different ways, sometimes instantly with a word or a touch, sometimes gradually, and sometimes through the natural healing processes that God built into our bodies. All true healing is from Him, whether it comes quickly or slowly, whether it touches the body, the mind, or the heart. We do not always understand why some are healed quickly and others walk a longer road, but we trust that God is wise and compassionate and hears every prayer. We are asking Him to bring healing according to His perfect will, to give wisdom to those providing care, and to bring comfort, peace, and strength to your loved one and to the whole family.
We are also praying for your family as a whole, that God would surround you with His blessing and presence. He has promised to be a place of safety for His people and to send His blessings in their season. May you know His nearness each day and night, and may His peace guard your hearts as you trust in Jesus Christ, who alone is our hope and our healer.
We will continue to keep you and your family in prayer.
