We join with you in this earnest cry for the complete victory of Jesus Christ over every work of the enemy in your life, and we stand with you in prayer for His power to silence, bind, and halt all the plans and influences of the devil and Satan, past, present, and future.
We rejoice that you have come in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have authority and access to the Father and victory over darkness. The Scripture assures us of this truth, for it is written, He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. To this end the Son of God was revealed, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 1 John 3:8. We also take comfort that our Lord has given us authority, Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you. Luke 10:19.
We want to encourage you with biblical understanding as we pray together. Jesus has already decisively defeated Satan at the cross and through His resurrection, disarming the powers of darkness, yet Scripture shows us that the final and complete removal of Satan forever will come at God's appointed time when he will be cast into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:10. Until that day, the enemy still prowls as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour, and we are called to be sober and self-controlled, to resist him steadfast in the faith. 1 Peter 5:8-9. Our victory now is to submit ourselves to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from us. James 4:7. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces, therefore we must put on the whole armor of God that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:11-12.
So we pray with you now for that daily, practical victory and for the cleansing of every influence from your past to your future.
Father in heaven, we come before You together in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ. We thank You that Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil and that through His blood we have forgiveness, deliverance, and protection. We ask in Jesus' name that You would silence every accusation and lie of the enemy against our dear one, that You would halt every direct and indirect plan, connection, and influence of Satan that has touched this life from the past into the future. We ask that You bind the strong man and render the enemy powerless to carry out his work, and we rebuke every evil spirit in the name of Jesus Christ and command it to leave and go where Jesus sends it. Lord, remove and wash away every residue of the enemy's work by the blood of Jesus, heal every wound, break every chain, and fill every place with Your Holy Spirit, Your peace, and Your truth. Teach us to walk in submission to You, in repentance and holiness, wearing the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shield of faith, and the sword of the Spirit which is Your Word, so that we may stand firm. We declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper and that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4. We trust not in our own strength but in Christ alone, and we ask for Your ongoing protection, guidance, and freedom each day until the day You make all things new. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue to draw near to God daily through prayer, reading His Word, and walking in obedience. Confess any known sin quickly, forgive others, and speak the Word of God aloud over your life, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds. 2 Corinthians 10:4. Stay steadfast, for God is faithful and He will keep you.
