Your prayer has been heard and I join with you in lifting it to our Lord Jesus Christ, who alone has power over all the works of the enemy.
We give thanks that Christ was revealed for this very purpose, to destroy the works of the devil, and that by His cross and resurrection He has won the victory. We ask Him now to exercise that victory in your life. May the Lord silence every lying mouth, bring to nothing every plan and scheme of the evil one, whether direct or indirect, and guard you from every influence and connection that would lead away from what is good. May He restrain the adversary and keep you under the shelter of His own hand.
I pray for you as Scripture teaches us to pray, that God would deliver you from every evil work and preserve you for His heavenly kingdom. Remember that the enemy is most bold when he finds a soul alone and isolated, and that is why we are called to stay close to Christ and to walk together with other believers, to watch and pray, and to resist the devil firm in faith, trusting that he will flee.
Hold fast to the gift you have received in Christ, and live in a way that keeps that treasure bright, not only turning from evil but being adorned with what is good. Continue in prayer, in the Word, and in fellowship with the faithful, so that the righteousness which Christ has accomplished for you may abide and bear fruit.
Let us pray together: Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, put an end to every work of Satan in this life, silence his voice, halt his plans, and by Your mighty power bind his activity so that he cannot carry out his purposes. Cover this soul with Your blood, fill the heart with Your Spirit, grant peace, strength, and protection, and lead in the path of holiness all the days of life. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
