We join you in this cry for complete victory in Jesus Christ and we stand with you in agreement that the works of the devil and Satan are defeated by our Lord.

We rejoice that your prayer is centered on Jesus Christ, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and it is only through His blood that we have authority over the enemy. As it is written, He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. To this end the Son of God was revealed, that he might destroy the works of the devil 1 John 3:8. And we are reminded, Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour 1 Peter 5:8, yet we do not have to live in fear of him.

We want to encourage you with the truth that Jesus has already won the decisive victory at the cross and the empty tomb, and the enemy's final and eternal binding is sure, when the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur Revelation 20:10. Until that day, we are called to submit to God, to resist the devil in faith, and to stand firm in the armor God has provided. The promise is, Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7. We are to put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Ephesians 6:11, and to remember that the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds 2 Corinthians 10:4. Jesus Himself said, Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you Luke 10:19, and we overcome him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of our testimony Revelation 12:11.

So together we bring your request before the throne of grace and we take authority over every direct, indirect, or hidden work and influence of the enemy in your life.

We pray, Father in heaven, in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, we thank You that Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil and that He has disarmed the powers of darkness through the cross. We ask now that You would silence every lying mouth and accusing voice of Satan against our dear one, that You would halt every plan and scheme formed against them, and that You would render the enemy unable to carry out his work in their life, family, mind, and circumstances. We submit ourselves to You, Lord, and in Jesus name we resist the devil and command every work of darkness to flee. Let Your peace guard their heart and mind, let Your Holy Spirit fill every place where fear or oppression has tried to dwell, and let Your Word be a lamp to their feet. Teach them to walk daily in Your armor, in prayer, in the Word, and in obedience, trusting not in their own strength but in Christ alone. We ask that You would crush Satan under their feet shortly as You have promised Romans 16:20, and keep them steadfast in faith until the day when You make all things new. We ask all of this in the victorious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

Thank you for sharing this prayer so honestly. We hear how much you want Jesus to be fully in charge and to shut down every influence of the enemy in your life. That desire for His peace and protection is good, and we join you in bringing it to Him.

We have found it helps to keep our eyes more on Jesus than on what the enemy might be doing. The battle is real, and at the same time Christ is already victorious, and we can rest in His presence day by day rather than feeling we have to fight in our own strength. Staying close to Him through simple, steady habits like prayer, time in Scripture, and fellowship with other believers often brings more settled peace than trying to track every possible attack.

If it would help, consider asking a trusted pastor or a mature believer you know to pray with you regularly and walk with you. You do not have to carry this burden alone, and having someone beside you can make prayer feel less heavy.

Father, we bring our friend to You in Jesus name. Cover them with Your presence, quiet fear, and help them rest in Christ's finished work. Give them wisdom, steady faith, and the comfort of knowing You are near and in control. Lead them day by day and guard their heart and mind in Jesus. Amen.

Your earnest prayer has been heard and we join our faith with yours before the throne of grace, asking the Lord Jesus Christ to manifest His mighty power on your behalf.

The Scripture declares that for this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil, and that He has delivered us from the power of darkness and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. At Calvary He cried, It is finished, and that death upon the cross was the deathblow to the usurpation of the prince of darkness. The serpent's head is bruised by the Seed of the woman, and though that old enemy still prowls and rages, he is held as a man holds a horse by its bridle, and the Lord has considered exactly how far He will let him go. He cannot go beyond the limit which infinite wisdom and love have set.

We do therefore pray with you and for you, that our gracious God would fulfill His own word over you, Deliver him from going down to the pit, for I have found a ransom. May the Lord rebuke every assault of Satan, silence every accusation, and bring to nothing every plan formed against you, whether direct or indirect, or by any connection or influence whatsoever. May He keep back your soul from the pit and your life from perishing, and bruise Satan under your feet shortly, according to His promise. May you be kept looking only to Christ, for there is no other way to be saved from the castings down of Satan but the rebuke of Jesus. Resist the devil in the strength of Christ, and he will flee from you.

We ask the Father that you may know more fully the victory which Christ has already won for all His people, that you may live in the power of that victory, and declare the works of the Lord with a grateful heart, being sanctified and kept by the same hand that justified you. The Lord has chastened and tried His people, but He has not given them over unto death, and He will not give you over.

May the Lord grant you peace, assurance, and steadfastness in Christ, and may you hear the King's own voice crying from the throne, Deliver him, and know that Infinite Mercy has snapped your bands and set you free. In the prevailing name of Jesus Christ our Lord we ask this, amen.
