We join with you in this cry for deliverance and victory in Jesus Christ, and we stand in agreement that our Lord has triumphed over the enemy and will bring every work of darkness to an end.

We take comfort in what Scripture declares about our Savior's authority, for the Son of God was revealed for this purpose, that he might destroy the works of the devil 1 John 3:8. We know that our adversary the devil walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour, but we are called to withstand him steadfast in our faith 1 Peter 5:8-9. We are given assurance that if we submit ourselves to God and resist the devil, he will flee from us James 4:7, and that God has given us authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will in any way hurt us Luke 10:19. We cling to the promise that the God of peace will quickly crush Satan under our feet Romans 16:20, and that the devil who deceived will finally be cast into the lake of fire forever Revelation 20:10. The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds 2 Corinthians 10:4.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved and have access to You. We thank You that Jesus has already disarmed the powers and authorities and triumphed over them at the cross. In Jesus' name we ask that You silence every accusation and lying mouth of the enemy against this dear one, that You halt and bring to nothing every direct and indirect plan, influence, and connection of Satan and his forces, and that You render their works powerless and unable to prosper. We ask that You bind the strong man and forbid his activity in this life, that You place a hedge of protection around this soul, and that You fill every place once troubled by darkness with Your Holy Spirit, Your peace, and Your light. Help us to submit fully to You, to put on the whole armor of God, and to stand firm in faith, knowing that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4. Let Your will be done and let Christ reign completely and forever, for Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to abide in Christ daily, to stay in His Word, to pray without ceasing, and to walk in obedience and holiness, for that is how we remain under His protection. Do not give place to fear, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. Keep resisting steadfastly, keep declaring the truth of Scripture aloud, and trust that the victory belongs to Jesus, who will never leave you nor forsake you, and who is faithful to complete the work He has begun in you until the day of Christ.

We hear how earnestly you want Jesus to have full authority over every part of your life and to shut down any work of the enemy, whether direct or indirect. That desire to rest securely in Him is good, and we are joining you in prayer for His protection and peace to be very real to you.

It is understandable to want complete assurance that nothing of the enemy can get through. We have found it helps to remember that our security is not in tracking every possible influence, but in staying close to Christ Himself. He is the One with authority, and as we walk with Him we can bring our concerns to Him honestly and leave them in His hands, rather than staying on edge watching for what the enemy might do.

One simple step that steadies many people is to keep ordinary, consistent rhythms with the Lord instead of focusing hard on opposition. Regular prayer in your own words, reading Scripture a little each day, and staying connected with a few trusted believers who know you and can pray with you can keep your heart anchored. If you notice fear or thoughts about the enemy becoming consuming, it can also help to talk openly with a pastor or mature believer you trust.

Father, we lift our brother to You and ask in Jesus name for Your guarding presence over his heart and mind. Quiet fear and help him rest in Christ and in Your care. Lead him in Your will and draw him closer to You each day. Amen.

Your prayer for the complete victory of Jesus Christ over the devil is heard, and we join our hearts with yours at the mercy seat.

The word of God declares that the Seed of the woman shall trample on the serpent. Our Lord Jesus Christ has poured out His soul unto death, and therefore He has won the victory, and that victory is glorious. As the result of what He has done, Satan's power is broken. Our Lord beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven, and though that old serpent still rages because he knows his time is short, there is a bit in his mouth and a bridle on his jaws, and he can be controlled and restrained just as the Lord pleases.

We must remember that the Scripture shows there is a present warfare and a final triumph. Even now the arch enemy has been conquered by that glorious Man, Christ Jesus, and by God working in us we shall bruise Satan under our feet shortly. Yet the full binding and the casting of the evil one into the lake of fire belongs to the latter day glory for which we still look. Until then he goes about with incessant maliciousness, seeking whom he may devour, and he will do all that he is permitted to do in his permitted range. Therefore we do not trust in our own strength, but in the rebuke of Jesus, for there is no other way to be saved from the castings down of Satan but the rebuke of Christ Himself.

So we pray with you, and for you, in the name that makes hell tremble.

O Lord Jesus Christ, Thou great Conqueror of Satan, we bless Thee that Thou hast won the victory by Thy blood and art now caught up unto God and to His throne. We ask Thee to exercise Thy power on behalf of this soul who cries to Thee. Silence the accusing mouth of the adversary, halt every plan and device of the evil one whether direct or indirect, and restrain him by Thy sovereign hand. Put Thy bit and bridle upon him, that he shall not carry out his work against this life. Let Thy Holy Spirit keep every chamber of the heart and every faculty of the soul, that Satan find no place to dwell and no forge in which to work. Give power and victory, Lord, as Thou didst promise to give to those for whom Thou didst die.

Teach this dear soul to watch and pray, to cut off sinful connections, to keep close to Christ, and to overcome evil with good, knowing that when the Head has conquered, every member of His mystical body is virtually a conqueror in Him. Keep this one under the shadow of Thy cross till the conflict is past and angels minister where once the tempter assailed.

We ask this trusting not in our worthiness, but in Thy finished work, that boundless honors may forever be given to Thee for Thy victory over every force of evil. In Jesus's name, Amen.
