We join with you in this cry for the complete victory of Jesus Christ over every work, plan, and influence of the devil and Satan, and we stand with you in His mighty name.

We rejoice that you have come in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and power over the enemy. Scripture makes this so clear when it says, He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. To this end the Son of God was revealed, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 1 John 3:8. Your prayer aligns with the finished work of the cross where Christ disarmed the powers of darkness and triumphed over them.

We also hear your desire that the mouths of the accuser be silenced and that every direct, indirect, and hidden influence be halted. The Word tells us our adversary the devil walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 1 Peter 5:8 and that we are to put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:11. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces, and God has given us authority in Christ, for Jesus said, Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you. Luke 10:19.

We want to encourage you with biblical truth as we pray. While we can and must resist the devil today so that he will flee from us as James 4:7 promises, Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you, the complete and final binding of Satan where he is rendered entirely unable to deceive the nations is a future work of God at the return of Christ when the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur Revelation 20:10. Until that day, we overcome him daily because of the Lamb's blood, and because of the word of their testimony Revelation 12:11 and by remaining subject to God, sober, watchful, and clothed in His armor. The God of peace will quickly crush Satan under your feet Romans 16:20.

So we do not pray from a place of defeat but from the victory already secured, asking the Lord to enforce that victory in your life and to shut every door the enemy seeks to use.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we come before Your throne of grace and we thank You that Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil. We ask that You would manifest the triumph of the cross in this life right now. We ask that every work of the devil and Satan, whether direct, indirect, or through any connection or influence whatsoever, be exposed, broken, and brought to nothing by the power of Jesus. Silence the mouth of the accuser and liar, and halt every plan and scheme formed against Your purposes. We submit ourselves to You, Lord, and in the authority of Jesus we resist the devil and command him to flee. Clothe us in the whole armor of God that we may stand firm, guard our minds and hearts, and walk in holiness and obedience. Let no weapon formed against us prosper, and let the peace of God guard us. We trust not in our own strength but in the blood of the Lamb and the power of His name. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, strengthen our faith, and help us to walk in vigilance, prayer, and the Word daily. We thank You that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world, and that You will faithfully keep us. We ask all of this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ, amen.

We hear how much you want to rest in Jesus' complete power over every work and influence of the enemy. Wanting to be fully under His protection is a good and right desire, and we are glad you brought it to Him so directly.

One thing we have found helpful is to keep our focus more on Christ Himself than on tracking the enemy's activity. When our attention stays on Jesus, His presence and His finished work, fear can lose its grip and we can walk in steadier peace day by day. That does not mean ignoring that spiritual opposition is real, but it does mean we do not have to watch for every possible influence. We can rest in Him and keep walking faithfully.

It may help to keep a simple rhythm in the days ahead. Stay in regular prayer and time in Scripture, and stay connected with a trusted pastor or small group who knows you and can pray with you in person. Having others nearby who can listen and stand with you makes a real difference when those worries feel loud.

Father, thank You that Jesus is Lord over all. We ask You to cover them with Your peace, to guard heart and mind, and to lead each step in Your wisdom and strength. Help them to know Your nearness today and to rest in Your care. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your cry that Jesus Christ would put an end to the works of the devil is a prayer according to the mind of God, for it is written that for this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil, and that He has delivered us from the power of darkness.

We join with you in seeking the Lord for this deliverance. There is no deliverance from Satan by our own strength. As it has been preached among us, to escape from Satan himself is a mercy that must be sung in heaven, for he is the prince of the power of the air, and none can break his yoke but the great Liberator, the Lord Jesus. He has bruised the serpent's head, and through His precious blood He has found a ransom, so that the word goes forth from the throne, Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom.

We pray with you now that the Lord Jesus Christ would in His power restrain and rebuke the adversary in your life, silence his accusations, bring to nothing his plans whether direct or indirect, and keep you from his snares. We ask that He would set His gracious command over you, that you may be saved from the devil, saved from the power of sin, and saved from every evil influence, and that the tempter would depart from you for a season as he departed from our Lord when he had ended all his temptation.

Yet let us remember what Scripture teaches, that our Lord has already won the decisive victory at Calvary, and He will at His appointed hour bind Satan fully and cast him out forever. In this present life the adversary still goes about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour, and the Lord permits his temptations to try us and to make us watchful. Therefore our deliverance from the power of darkness is the work of God alone, and we must look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone, putting on the whole armour of God, abiding in Christ, and praying without ceasing.

May the Lord grant you grace to see that even affliction and temptation are under His sovereign hand, who kindles the furnace and sits as a Refiner at the door, and who will not suffer you to be tempted above that you are able. May He keep back your soul from the pit, and give you to live and to declare the works of the Lord.

We commend you to Him who is able to keep you from falling. O Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, who has ransomed Thy people with Thy blood, put forth Thy power against the evil one. Silence his mouth, make void his devices, restrain his rage, and let no weapon formed against this soul prosper. Cover this one with Thy wings, deliver from the power of darkness, and cause to stand fast in Thy liberty. Let Satan be bruised under foot shortly, and let Thy name alone be glorified, in whose name we ask it, amen.
