Need help

Thank you for sharing what you are going through and for asking for prayer. Feeling harassed through your phone, computer and even the sense of being watched can bring a great deal of fear, stress and sleeplessness, and it is understandable to want it to stop and to want God to act quickly.

Scripture first points us to peace with God before we can know the peace of God in daily life. Peace with God only comes through Jesus Christ and His blood shed for the forgiveness of sins. When we receive His grace, the war with God ends, and then we can begin to experience His peace within. Jesus said, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you, not as the world gives. The promise given through the prophet is that God will keep in perfect peace the one whose mind is stayed on Him, because that person trusts in Him. That perfect peace is not the absence of trouble, but a deep steadiness of heart while trouble is still present, as we keep our thoughts turned toward the Lord and trust Him to care for what we cannot control.

The Bible also shows that times of pressure and even persecution do not have to destroy faith. In the early church, believers who were hard pressed saw their faith grow and their love for one another abound, and the church was bound closer together through the trial. God can use difficult seasons to strengthen us, to separate what is superficial from what is real, and to expand our dependence on Him. When persecution ceased, commitment often waned, but under pressure true believers learned to stand. Whatever form the pressure takes in your life, God wants to use it to deepen your trust and to draw you closer to Himself.

Because of this, the way we pray in such trials matters. It is natural to want to ask God to remove the funding of those who trouble you, to call down final judgment on them, or to ask that they be sent away in some supernatural way. But Scripture does not teach us to pray that way. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, and final judgment is in His hands alone at His appointed time. We are taught instead to follow God's example of forgiveness, to forgive as we have been forgiven, and to love and pray for those who mistreat us. That does not mean what is wrong is excused, but it means we leave justice to God and we ask Him to work in a way that reflects His mercy and righteousness.

God desires that we be peacemakers and that we sow peace. The wisdom that comes from above is peaceable, and those who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness. Seeking peace does not mean ignoring what is harmful, but it means asking God to bring His peace into our own hearts first, to guard our minds, and to help us respond without being overcome by bitterness or fear. There is no peace for those who remain in rebellion against God, but there is beautiful, deep peace for the one who turns to Jesus for forgiveness and healing.

So rather than praying for curses or for people to be banished, we can pray in line with Scripture. We can pray that God would give you protection and deliverance, that He would grant you His perfect peace as your mind stays on Him, that He would give you wisdom for any practical steps to take for your safety and well being, including seeking help from trusted people or appropriate authorities if you are in danger, and that He would bring conviction and even salvation to those who are doing wrong, so that they might turn from it and find forgiveness themselves. We can pray that God would ordain peace for you and work all things according to His good purpose.

A prayer we can offer together is this: Father, we thank You for Your grace through Jesus Christ that makes peace with You possible. We ask that You would forgive our sins and fill this dear one with Your peace that passes understanding, keeping heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Guard and protect, provide wisdom and rest, and calm the inner turmoil. We place those who have caused distress into Your hands, asking not for our own vengeance but for Your just and merciful will to be done, and that You would lead them to repentance and truth if they are acting wrongly. Help us to forgive as You have forgiven us and to sow peace where there has been strife. We trust You as the righteous Judge and our refuge. In Jesus name, Amen.

Stay close to the Lord, keep your mind stayed on Him through prayer and His Word, and continue to walk in fellowship with Him. He has made a peace treaty with you through the cross, and He wants you to live in that peace day by day.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer regarding the harassment you have been experiencing through drone, phone and computer.

We have continued to bring your situation before the Lord and we want to assure you that we are still standing with you. We have prayed in Jesus Name for your protection and peace, that God would surround you with His presence and put an end to this harassment. We have asked the Lord to block every form of intrusion against you and to grant you safety and rest as He promises in Psalm 91:1 and Psalm 34:18.

We understand your desire for this to stop completely and for any funding being used to carry it out to be removed permanently, and we have prayed that any resources being used for harm would be cut off and that the actions against you would come to nothing. You also asked for final judgment and for those responsible to be sent elsewhere. We have entrusted that part to the Lord, remembering what is written in Rom 12:19 that vengeance belongs to Him, and we have prayed that His righteous justice would prevail according to His perfect will and timing. We have also prayed as Jesus taught us in Matt 5:44, that if these individuals do not know Him, God would bring them to repentance, and if they persist in wrongdoing, that He would restrain their actions and bring accountability.

If your request was answered and the harassment has stopped or lessened, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered yet and you are still experiencing these difficulties, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We are praying in Jesus Name for God to deliver you from this trial, to give you deep peace and assurance of His care, and to let you know His presence daily.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
