Lord, You know there are hidden hinderances that Your people are experiencing and they can't see it but You Lord are aware it, these hidden hinderances are blocking breakthrough and also their forward motion, and I now ask You Lord to bring to their minds what hidden hinderances there are show them in their dreams, or in circumstances or signs and wonders or confirmation from others in Jesus' name

Lord help them to understand that they are fighting a spiritual battle and they can't resolve spiritual problems in flesh in Jesus' name

Cause them to see in the Spirit so they understand what is truly taking place in Jesus' name

Grant them strategic outcomes and methods to overthrow what the enemy did to them in the night hours during sleep (for warfare begins in dreams) in Jesus' name

Lord heal them and make them whole and deliver them from the adversary in Jesus' name

Place before them wisdom so they know which step to take in life in Jesus' name

Heal their heart wounds caused by destructive actions done to them in Jesus' name

Heal their soul wounds and make them feel more uplifted and walk with joy in their steps in Jesus' name

Deliver Your people Lord and bring them out of the snare of the enemy's traps as it is written in Psalm 91:3 and Psalm 141:9 in Jesus' name

Lord cause Your people to repent and get right with You and cause Your intercessors to seek You out and deal with any hidden pride in Jesus' name

Thank You Lord for taking care of Your people and bring them comfort and covering them from the enemy's snares in Jesus' name

We join with you in lifting up those who are struggling with hidden hinderances that block their breakthrough and forward motion in life. The Scriptures remind us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). It is crucial to recognize that we are indeed in a spiritual battle, and we must fight with spiritual weapons.

First, we pray that the Lord would reveal these hidden hinderances to His people. May He shine His light into the darkest corners of their lives, bringing to mind any unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or areas where they have not fully surrendered to His will. We ask that He would speak to them through His Word, through dreams, through circumstances, and through the godly counsel of others. "For nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light" (Luke 8:17).

We rebuke any spiritual blindness or deception that may be keeping them from seeing the truth. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We pray that they would put on the full armor of God, standing firm against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). May they be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, taking up the shield of faith to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one (Ephesians 6:16).

Lord, we ask that You would grant them strategic wisdom and discernment to overthrow the works of the enemy. Warfare does indeed begin in the spiritual realm, and we pray that You would give them victory even in their dreams. "You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day" (Psalm 91:5). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

We pray for healing and wholeness in every area of their lives, spirit, soul, and body. Heal their heart wounds caused by the destructive actions of others, and bind up their broken hearts (Psalm 147:3). Heal their soul wounds, Lord, and restore to them the joy of Your salvation (Psalm 51:12). Deliver them from the snare of the enemy, as it is written, "Surely He will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence" (Psalm 91:3). "Keep me from the snare which they have laid for me, and from the traps of the workers of iniquity" (Psalm 141:9).

We also pray that they would humble themselves before You, repenting of any sin and turning away from anything that does not align with Your will. Pride is a snare that can keep us from Your best, Lord, so we ask that You would reveal any hidden pride in their hearts and in the hearts of Your intercessors. "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble" (James 4:6). May they seek You with all their heart, leaning not on their own understanding but acknowledging You in all their ways (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and Your promise to never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We trust in Your unfailing love and Your power to deliver and restore. May Your people walk in the freedom and victory that Christ has already won for them on the cross. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are redeemed and set free. May they come to know Him more deeply and experience the fullness of life that He offers.

We declare that the chains are broken, the strongholds are demolished, and the captives are set free in Jesus' name. May they walk in the light of Your truth, Lord, and may Your peace guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We trust You to complete the good work You have begun in them, and we look forward to the day when every hindrance is removed, and they walk in the fullness of Your purpose for their lives. Amen.

Thank you for carrying others before the Lord with such care. The way you describe hidden hindrances that block forward motion is something many believers quietly feel but struggle to name, and it is a kindness to intercede for them.

We hear your desire for people to see clearly what is spiritual and not try to fight it in their own strength, and for their hearts to find healing where they have been wounded. That longing for wholeness and joy to return to their steps matters to God.

One gentle way we have seen people walk this out is to keep bringing what they notice, whether in a dream, a conversation, or a persistent burden, to Jesus in simple prayer and to a trusted pastor or mature believer who can pray alongside them. When old hurts surface, inviting Christ into those memories with someone safe can help the healing go deeper than just trying to push past it. It is not a quick fix, and it takes time and care, but God is patient in that process.

How needful is the prayer you have offered, for many of the Lord's people do indeed find that there are various hindrances in coming to the mercy seat and in pressing forward in the way of duty. You have well described that warfare which is not seen with the eye of flesh, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers. When Christ's servants go forth to do good, the prince of evil bestirs himself and would fain shake the kingdom if he could, and so he casts hindrances in the path.

Be comforted to know that though you may be hidden, you are not hidden from the Lord. His hidden ones are hidden by Him for safety and for quiet, and though not understood by the world, and sometimes not even understanding themselves, they are never out of His sight. He can read your thoughts, He sees the tear that lifts the eyelid, and He knows those hidden hindrances which block your way though you cannot yet name them. Ask Him to search you and show you what is there, not by trusting to dreams alone, but by the light of His Word and the faithful searching of His Spirit, for happy is that man who reads the Scriptures and hears the word searching all the while for the hidden spiritual sense which is indeed the voice of God.

Know also that God does sometimes put apparent hindrances in the way of His own people, even in reference to their usefulness and growth in grace, but His object is to try His saints and so to strengthen them. Yet when you have ascertained that hindrances in your way do indeed come from Satan, there is but one piece of advice, go on, hindrance or no hindrance, in the path of duty as God the Holy Spirit enables you. Be in earnest against these hindrances when you consider what you lose if you do not resist him. The warfare is arduous, but we do not enter upon it at our own charges, there is One who has promised to help us.

Take heed that your prayers be not hindered. Worldly cares are frequent and most mischievous hindrances to prayer, and earthly pleasures, especially of a dubious kind, are the worst of hindrances, for they stick to the wings and the soul cannot fly. Come then with a humble heart, confessing hidden pride and every secret fault, for the Lord delights to give wisdom to those who seek Him and to show the next step to those who ask for it.

Your prayer for healing and deliverance is according to His will. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, the least thing about Christ is healing. Pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction. When the Sun of Righteousness rises upon the soul with healing in His wings, He says as He did to the palsied man, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. And your deliverance is certain, for God Himself has said, I have found a ransom. The prisoner ready to go down to the pit is delivered, not by his own strength, but because the King's own Son has borne the penalty. He brought forth His people of old with silver and gold, and He still makes deliverance effectual and enriching by free grace alone.

Let us pray together for you and for all who feel thus hindered.

O Lord, Thou knowest the hidden hindrances that hold back Thy people. Thou seest what we cannot see. Bring to light what must be confessed and forsaken, give discernment to see in the Spirit what is truly taking place, and grant not to trust in the flesh where the battle is spiritual. Deliver Thy people from the snare of the fowler as Thou hast promised in Psalm 91 and keep them from the traps of the enemy as in Psalm 141. Heal heart wounds and soul wounds, for Thou art He who heals and pardons in one. Lift the downcast, give joy in their steps, grant strategic wisdom for each step to be taken, and cover them under Thy wings. Cause Thy intercessors to seek Thee with lowly hearts, purged of hidden pride, and strengthen all who are hindered to go forward still in the path of duty, looking unto Jesus who has wrought a great salvation and overthrown every enemy. Hasten Thy people to the armoury, array them in Thy panoply, and let them grasp the sword of the Spirit, which is Thy Word, and stand fast in Christ, in whose name we ask it. Amen.

Thank you for sharing this prayer and for your desire to see God bring freedom and forward movement to His people. Your heart to see hidden hindrances exposed and healed is heard, and I join you in bringing these requests before the Lord in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and access to the Father.

Scripture teaches that we do indeed face a spiritual battle that cannot be resolved in the flesh, and that God sees what is hidden from us. At the same time, the Word shows us that the most decisive hidden hindrances are often matters of the heart that we are called to renounce and bring into the light. As it is written, we are to have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness or handling the word of God deceitfully, but living and speaking openly before God. That means asking the Lord not only to show us external snares, but to search us and reveal any softness, carelessness in hearing His word, love of worldly things, or hidden pride that would keep us from following Him fully.

You asked that God would show what is blocking breakthrough, whether through His Word, through providential circumstances, or through the confirmation of other believers. That is a good prayer when it is anchored in Scripture. God does give wisdom and guidance, and He does heal heart wounds and soul wounds caused by destructive actions of others. He promises to deliver from the snare of the fowler as Psalm 91:3 says, and to keep us from the traps laid for us as Psalm 141:9 says. We can ask Him for that deliverance with confidence, while remembering that His primary way of speaking and guiding is through Scripture, faithfully heard and continually remembered, coupled with fortitude and obedience.

It is right to pray for spiritual sight and for strategic wisdom to know which step to take. The Lord desires that we do His will not by halves, but fully, so that even while we live on earth we learn to live as citizens of heaven, obedient in all things. And we can take comfort that nothing in our past, our place, our upbringing, or even the failures of those who came before us needs to be a final hindrance if we will take heed to ourselves and walk with Christ. What seemed to be a hindrance to others, even ignorance, weakness, or bonds, God has often turned to make His power more evident.

So let us pray together for what you have asked, according to the truth of the gospel:

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, expose what is hidden that needs to be confessed and forsaken. Grant to Your people a careful hearing of Your Word and a continual recollection of it, with courage and a heart freed from worldly entanglements. Where there is hidden pride, grant repentance and humility. Where there are wounds of heart and soul, bring healing and wholeness, and restore joy to their steps. Deliver them from the adversary and from every snare of the enemy. Give wisdom for the next step, and the grace to walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh. Cover Your people with Your mercy and keep them in Your truth, that they may be comforted and made to stand firm.

We do not seek signs and wonders as our foundation, nor do we treat dreams as the place where warfare is decided, but we ask for discernment to test all things by Your Word and to walk in the light. Cause intercessors to seek You with clean hands and humble hearts, renouncing all hidden shame and looking to Christ alone for salvation and strength.

May the Lord continue to comfort you and to lead you into full obedience and joy in Him. Keep seeking Him daily in Scripture and prayer, stay in fellowship with faithful believers who will speak the truth in love, and trust that He who began a good work will be faithful to complete it.
