Prayer for those who need help to overcome any hinderances

Your prayer reflects a true understanding that the battle you are describing is spiritual and cannot be won with human strength or wisdom. God does see what is hidden. He weighs the heart and knows what is in the mind, even when we cannot see it ourselves. While people look at outward appearances, the Lord looks at the heart, and nothing is concealed from Him.
It is right to ask Him to reveal what is hindering forward motion. Scripture warns that thorns and snares are in the way of those who turn from His path, but the one who guards his soul stays far from them. Part of that guarding is asking God to show us what needs to be addressed, whether it is an attitude, a habit, a wound, or hidden pride, and then responding with a heart that is truly turned toward Him. God is not looking for outward show. He desires a torn heart, not just torn garments. Repentance in the biblical sense is more than saying we have sinned, it is turning away from that sin and turning toward Him.
You are also right to recognize that the enemy opposes the work of God and the progress of His people. Jesus Christ is the rightful King and His victory on the cross is complete, yet the enemy is stubborn and only yields what he must. That is why our prayers need to be specific, claiming the victory of Christ over particular areas of darkness and asking for deliverance in His name, until the blinding influence is broken and a person can walk in freedom.
So we pray with you now that the Lord will give spiritual sight to those who feel blocked, that He will grant wisdom for the next step and make the path clear. We ask that He will heal heart wounds and soul wounds caused by the hurtful actions of others, and lift heaviness with His joy. We ask that He will deliver His people from the snare of the trapper, as Psalm 91:3 promises, and keep them from the traps laid for them, as Psalm 141:9 says. He has delivered souls from death in the past, and He is able to keep feet from falling so that we may walk before Him in the light of the living.
May the Lord fix hearts firmly upon Himself, bring comfort and covering, and lead each one who prays this prayer into repentance, wholeness, and steady forward steps by His grace through Jesus Christ.
