Beloved of All
You have called on the Lord for comfort, health, provision, forgiveness, and cleansing, and He hears you. He is the God of all comfort, the One who draws near when we are cast down, discouraged, or walking through dark valleys. In the hardest seasons of life, He does not stand far off. He comes alongside to strengthen and encourage, just as He did for His servants in the storms and trials of their lives. So when you ask for His presence and comfort, you are asking according to His own nature. He will not leave you alone.
Your plea to be made healthy without illness is not too great for Him. In the law, God made a remarkable provision for a leper in the day of his cleansing. Leprosy was incurable by human means, a slow decay that cut a person off from the community. And yet God left room for His own supernatural work. He gave a ritual that pointed ahead to what Jesus Christ would do. Sin is like that leprosy, a deep corruption that only a divine touch can heal. But Christ is willing. He said, "I am willing; be thou clean." He can restore both body and soul. So bring your need for physical wholeness to Him with confidence, knowing that He has the power to heal. Even more, trust Him to cleanse your heart and body from every stain, for His blood was shed to make you completely new.
You also asked for the forgiveness of all your debts. The greatest debt any of us carries is the weight of our sins against God. That debt has been fully canceled through the grace of Jesus Christ. It is not a matter of performing some work to earn it; salvation is a gift received by faith. And because you have been forgiven so much, you can also forgive others from the heart. If any bitterness or unforgiveness lingers in you, ask Him to give you a willing spirit. He will supply the capacity to release those debts, just as He released yours. Let that load go completely, and do not let your conscience be hounded by past failures. There is full cleansing when you come to Him.
As for your difficult work, remember that God’s work in you always precedes His work through you. Sometimes He is chipping off rough edges, and the process can be painful. But He is shaping you for a purpose. Do not try to gain His favor by your efforts; instead, let your work flow from a heart responding to His grace. When you feel overwhelmed, wait on Him. He often works things out in ways you cannot yet see. And while you wait, do what He has placed before you with quietness, trusting Him to supply every need.
May you know the comfort of the Holy Spirit, the cleansing that only Christ can give, and the peace that comes from resting in His finished work. He will make your heart and body clean, and He will walk with you through every moment.
