However, we also recognize that our bodies are temporary and subject to the effects of a fallen world. We pray for your healing, but we also pray for your trust in God’s sovereign will, knowing that even in suffering, He works all things for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). May you find peace in His presence, whether in health or in trial, for His grace is sufficient for you (2 Corinthians 12:9).
You ask the Lord to supply all your needs, and we rejoice in His promise to do so. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Yet, we must also examine our hearts to ensure we are seeking first His kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to us (Matthew 6:33). Are there areas where you are holding onto worry or self-reliance instead of surrendering fully to Him? Let us pray that you would experience His provision in every area of your life, not just materially, but spiritually and emotionally as well.
Your request for help with work difficulties is heard, and we pray that the Lord would grant you wisdom, strength, and favor in your labor. Colossians 3:23 reminds us, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men." Your prayer has come before the Lord and before His people, and we join you in bringing it to the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father.
There is forgiveness with God, and we rejoice to tell you so. It is a divine forgiveness, for the Lord Himself says, I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions. It is a surprising forgiveness, so free and so full that it seems too great to be true, yet it is true for every repenting and believing sinner. Behold, the tally is destroyed, the record of your debt is nailed to the Cross. Jehovah will never require the debt to be paid twice. If you tremble under the burden of sin and desire to be clean, believe in the forgiveness of sins for yourself, as a man believes the Creed for himself, and receive what Christ has already purchased.
And with forgiveness comes cleansing. There is a fountain opened for sin and for uncleanness, and when the soul learns to mourn before the Cross, it perceives that there is cleansing from sin. This cleansing is not partial but perfect and complete. The blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son, cleanses from all sin everyone who believes in Him. It makes a total and complete cleansing from all past guilt, so that the conscience may have perfect peace. God Himself applies this means of cleansing, for He says, I will sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean. Seek it of Him, not by your own doings or efforts, but by trusting the Divine method which He has promised in the Covenant of Grace. First the cleansing from guilt, and then, as follows upon it, a great change of conduct and a new nature which loves purity and holiness.
We pray that the Lord will be with you and comfort you, for He is near to them that come to Him washed in that fountain, and nearness of access to God brings wonderful peace. We ask Him to richly supply all your needs according to His riches in Christ, to give you strength and wisdom for all your difficult work, and to sustain you day by day.
