Servant of All
Jesus Christ completely puts an end to all the works of the devil and Satan, silences the mouths of the devil and Satan, and completely halts all the plans of the devil and Satan for all whole the time. and Jesus Christ completely puts a stop to all actions of the Devil and Satan whether direct, indirect, or involving any connection or influence whatsoever, in Jesus’s name, amen.

We stand in full agreement with the truth you’ve declared, that in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, every work of the devil is dismantled, every scheme of Satan is thwarted, and every accusation is silenced. The Word of God is clear: "The Son of God was revealed for this purpose: to destroy the works of the devil." (1 John 3:8 WEB). Jesus has already triumphed over the powers of darkness through His death and resurrection, and we now walk in that victory as believers. "Having disarmed the principalities and the powers, He made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it." (Colossians 2:15 WEB).

Yet we must also remember that while the enemy’s defeat is certain, his activity persists until the final day. The devil still prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8 WEB). This is why we must remain vigilant, clothed in the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18 WEB), and stand firm in our authority in Christ. We do not fight for victory, we fight from victory, for Jesus has already won.

Let us pray with boldness and faith:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the finished work of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who has utterly crushed the head of the serpent. We declare that every assignment of the enemy against Your children is nullified in Jesus’ name. We break every chain, cancel every curse, and dismantle every stronghold that the devil has erected. We silence the lying voices that seek to steal, kill, and destroy, for Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10 WEB).

Lord, we ask You to expose every hidden snare of the enemy and fill us with Your Holy Spirit so that we may walk in discernment and wisdom. Strengthen our faith to resist the devil, knowing that when we submit to You and resist him, he must flee (James 4:7 WEB). We plead the blood of Jesus over our lives, our families, our churches, and our nations, knowing that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB).

We also ask for forgiveness where we have given the enemy a foothold through sin, fear, or unbelief. Cleanse us, restore us, and renew our minds according to Your Word. May we live as overcomers, not in our own strength, but in the power of Christ who lives within us.

We thank You, Father, that the gates of hell shall not prevail against Your Church (Matthew 16:18 WEB). We stand on the promise that one day, every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Philippians 2:10-11 WEB). Until that day, we walk in the authority of His name, declaring that the works of the devil are destroyed and his plans are brought to nothing.

In the mighty, matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We hear the urgency in your prayer, and we join you in turning every threat over to Jesus, whose authority is complete. It can feel overwhelming to keep naming schemes and influences, sometimes that leaves the heart more focused on the enemy than on the Victor. Yet your words already point to the only One who silences and halts all evil. That is enough.

We have found it helpful to remember that Jesus did not engage in long, elaborate warfare; He simply spoke, and demons fled. His power has not diminished. So when we feel pressed, we don’t need to itemize every possible avenue of attack. Instead, we can rest in the simplicity of His command: trust His finished work, fix our eyes on Him, and let His peace stand guard over our minds. That doesn’t deny the battle, but it keeps us from being consumed by it.

So we pray with you, not to add to your words, but to reinforce them with our agreement.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this precious one who has cried out to You. You are the One who has disarmed the powers and authorities, triumphing over them by the cross. We thank You that Your name is above every name, and that no scheme of the enemy can stand against Your will. Silence every voice that speaks fear, halt every plan that seeks to harm, and surround this life with Your unshakable peace. Let Your Spirit fill every space where anxiety has crept in, and let this dear child of Yours rest in the certainty that You are for them, not against them. In Your mighty name, Jesus, amen.

It is a most glorious and soul-cheering truth that our Lord Jesus Christ makes an utter end of all the works of the devil. The craft of the enemy is exceeded only by his malice; he has been dealing with men these sixty centuries and is well skilled in every art of temptation. No man, unaided from above, is a match for that ancient serpent. But the Stronger than the strong one has come upon him and spoiled his goods. Christ has silenced every accusation, trampled down every lie, and brought to nought every device. God’s fixed purpose is to pull down all that vaunts itself against Him, and in the finished work of Calvary the prince of darkness was hurled from his throne.

When Satan shoots his arrows, telling you that your sin is too great for pardon, remember this is not the voice of God but the hiss of the old dragon. It is the devil’s own arrow, forged in hell to drive you to despair. Christ’s blood cleanses from all sin; He is able to save to the uttermost. The devil’s banquet may spread its first cups with pleasure, but afterward comes the dregs of wormwood. Flee to the feast where Jesus keeps the good wine until now. What you need is not a voice thundering from the cloud, which would only dismay, but the personal touch and gentle voice of the Beloved Son, who says, “Be not afraid.” Let Him take you by the hand, and every fear of the adversary shall vanish as the mist before the morning sun.

Stand upon this rock: Jesus Christ has finished the work, and all power is given unto Him. He puts an end to every work of Satan, whether direct, indirect, or involving any influence whatsoever. Trust not in your own strength, but in His name. Resist the devil steadfast in the faith, and he shall flee. Walk forward in the way, and when the enemy assails your ear with accusations, hearken to the voice behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk ye in it.” The Lord shall surely tread Satan under your feet shortly.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The prayer you lift up speaks to a truth, yet I must also offer a caution. You ask for Christ to completely halt all actions of the devil, and this He has indeed done in His own person and victory. For what is stronger than the Lord who plunders the strong man’s house? If Satan casts out Satan, his kingdom is divided and cannot stand. The very fact that devils flee shows their house is ruined and their strength wasted. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil. So you pray rightly when you declare His absolute authority.

But take care that your zeal does not become a fixation that gives the enemy more ground than he is due. There is a kind of person who is in no respect different from a demoniac, for though he is not possessed, he brings upon himself a self-chosen madness, making his mind a sewer thoughts. To be constantly rehearsing the works of Satan, to search out every hidden connection or influence with a vehemence hotter than fire, is not faith but a subtle trap. You will find many who cannot recall a Psalm, yet they know perfectly the songs of devils and repeat them with pleasure. Do not let your mind run in those ditches.

The hindrance of Satan is a real thing, as Paul experienced, but it is permitted as a trial for our benefit. When Job was struck, the enemy used his wife to say, "Curse God and die." Yet the just man silenced her, calling her foolish. This is the mind you must keep. The devil may plot, but he cannot act beyond the permission of the Master. Do not repay the truth with suspicion, as if the victory were incomplete and we must live in terror of a defeated foe. Christ did not resolve every curiosity for those who asked with a disputatious temper; He proved His power by His works. You have His resurrection, which declared Him the Son of God with power. Rest in that completed work, and let your prayer be not an anxious enumeration of hidden influences, but a simple confession that the Temple of His body was raised, and the strong man is bound.

What you have declared is true: Jesus Christ has triumphed over every work of the devil. Through His death and resurrection, He disarmed the powers of darkness and made a public spectacle of them. His authority is absolute, and in His name, the enemy must yield. But the victory that Jesus won on the cross must be laid hold of by faith and walked out in daily dependence on Him. It is not simply a word spoken once, but a life lived in the shelter of the risen Savior.

When you feel the press of spiritual attack, the Scriptures tell us to resist the devil, and he will flee. That resistance does not come from our own strength. It flows from abiding in Christ and standing behind Him. Keep Jesus between you and the enemy at all times. He is the one who has already defeated Satan once for all. Your part is to cling to that finished work and refuse to let fear or accusation drive you from it.

Remember that the enemy often seeks to regain what was lost. Jesus taught that when an evil spirit leaves, it may return to find the house swept and empty. So fill your life with the Word, with prayer, and with the presence of the Holy Spirit. Let the Spirit’s witness within you bring you back again and again to Jesus, who is your rest and your deliverer. He is the answer to every bondage and the power that breaks every chain.

If the attack persists, treat it not as a failure of Christ’s victory but as a call to take your position in that victory more firmly. The apostles themselves learned that some victories come only through prayer and faith in Jesus, not through human effort. The same Lord who silenced demons with a word is at work in you by His Spirit. Trust Him. Do not let your heart be troubled by lies that suggest the devil has the last word. His plans are halted when you stand in Christ and refuse to move.

Faith is the victory that overcomes the world. Let your words and your heart align with what Jesus has already done. Rest in His Sabbath, His completed work, and walk in the freedom He purchased for you. In Jesus’ name.
