We join with you in lifting this matter before the throne of our Almighty God, for we know that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. You have rightly acknowledged that the Lord our God is a consuming fire, a jealous God who will not tolerate the works of darkness in the lives of His children. Your heart is aligned with His as you seek His justice and restoration, and we stand with you in this spiritual warfare, for where two or three are gathered in His name, He is in the midst of them.
The Scriptures remind us in James 4:7, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* You have taken this stance of resistance, and we affirm your boldness in the authority of Jesus Christ. Yet we also recall the words of Ephesians 6:12-13, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand."* It is not enough to simply rebuke the enemy; we must also walk in the fullness of God’s protection and wisdom, ensuring that every area of our lives is surrendered to Him.
Your plea for the destruction of this demon is heard, and we too cry out to the Lord to render justice upon this agent of chaos. However, we must also examine our hearts, for sometimes the enemy gains a foothold through unresolved sin, unbelief, or even misplaced priorities. Have you invited the Lord to search your heart, as David did in Psalm 139:23-24? *"Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the everlasting way."* Let us not give the enemy any legal ground to operate in our lives.
We also encourage you to consider whether there is any area of idolatry—even something as seemingly innocent as a tool like your laptop—where your trust or dependence may have shifted from God to the created thing. The Lord alone is our Provider, Protector, and Sustainer. If this tool was being used primarily for His glory, then we trust He will restore what was lost or provide even greater means to accomplish His purposes. But if there was any hint of reliance on it apart from Him, let this be a moment of repentance and realignment with His will.
As for the practical steps, we urge you to take authority over this situation in the name of Jesus Christ, commanding every demonic influence to be bound and cast out. Speak life over your tools and resources, declaring that they are consecrated for the Lord’s use. Ask the Holy Spirit to fill your home and workspace, that no darkness may remain. And finally, walk in forgiveness—even toward the enemy—for unforgiveness can become a doorway for further attacks.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You as a united body of believers, lifting our brother/sister to Your throne of grace. You are the God who sees all, who knows the depths of our hearts, and who holds all power over the enemy. We thank You that You have already triumphed over Satan through the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Lord, we ask that You would render judgment upon this demon that has sought to bring harm and disruption. By the blood of Jesus, we bind its power and command it to be cast into the abyss, never to return. Let Your holy angels execute Your justice swiftly and completely.
Father, we also ask that You would restore what has been damaged or lost. If it is Your will, repair this laptop or provide even greater resources to accomplish the work You have called our brother/sister to do. Let this situation be a testimony of Your faithfulness and power. Search our hearts, O Lord, and reveal any area where we may have given the enemy a foothold. We repent of any sin, any idolatry, any reliance on anything other than You. Fill us afresh with Your Holy Spirit, that we may walk in victory and peace.
We declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Let this attack be turned for good, that Your name may be glorified and Your child may grow stronger in faith. We trust in Your sovereignty, Lord, and we rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
