We hear your cry for help and we stand with you together before the throne of grace in Jesus' name, asking for God's mercy, power, and deliverance over you.
We want to remind you of the authority that belongs to every believer in Jesus Christ. The torment you describe is real, and Scripture tells us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. Yet we do not have to live in fear, for God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7, and You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4.
We rebuke the enemy and every demonic influence that has been harassing your body, your foot, your eye, your skin, and your mind. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we command every unclean spirit to leave you and to go where Jesus sends you, and to torment you no more. Jesus said, Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you Luke 10:19, and These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons Mark 16:17. We claim that authority together with you now, not by our own power but by the blood of Jesus shed on the cross and His victory over death and hell.
We also encourage you to draw near to God with a submitted and repentant heart, for Scripture says Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7. We encourage you to renounce any door that may have been opened to the enemy, whether through occult practices, unforgiveness, bitterness, or willful sin, and to confess and turn from it. Fill that place in your mind and body with the presence of God instead, through worship, prayer, and the Word. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Ephesians 6:11, by daily putting on truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith 1 Peter 5:8-9.
We are thankful you called upon the name of Jesus, for it is only by His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His name we are saved and delivered, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Continue to call upon Him, to speak His name aloud over your body and your home, to sing praises to Him, and to saturate your mind with Scripture even when the torment feels strong.
Let us pray together.
Father in heaven, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one who is suffering torment. Lord, You see the affliction in the foot, the eye, the skin, and the heaviness and oppression in the head and upper body. We ask in Jesus' name that You would bring complete deliverance and peace. We rebuke every demonic spirit that is playing with, mocking, and harassing this precious person, and we command you in Jesus' name to leave and not return. Father, pull out and break every hold of the enemy, cleanse this body and mind, and fill every place with Your Holy Spirit, Your light, and Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We ask that You would guard this mind, bring sound sleep, calm the skin, heal the body, and let Your presence be tangibly felt. Help our dear brother or sister to walk in submission to You, to resist the devil, and to stand firm in faith, knowing You are the Deliverer. Fill this home with worship and Your Word, and surround this life with godly believers and pastors who can pray in person and offer ongoing support and discipleship. We thank You, Lord, that whom the Son sets free is free indeed, and we trust in Your power to set free completely. We pray all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
