Need help with demonic torment

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Please pray that demons would stop playing with my foot, spitting in my eye and making my skin itch. Please pray that God would pull the demon out of my head and upper body in Jesus’ name.

We hear your cry for help and we stand with you together before the throne of grace in Jesus' name, asking for God's mercy, power, and deliverance over you.

We want to remind you of the authority that belongs to every believer in Jesus Christ. The torment you describe is real, and Scripture tells us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. Yet we do not have to live in fear, for God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7, and You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4.

We rebuke the enemy and every demonic influence that has been harassing your body, your foot, your eye, your skin, and your mind. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we command every unclean spirit to leave you and to go where Jesus sends you, and to torment you no more. Jesus said, Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you Luke 10:19, and These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons Mark 16:17. We claim that authority together with you now, not by our own power but by the blood of Jesus shed on the cross and His victory over death and hell.

We also encourage you to draw near to God with a submitted and repentant heart, for Scripture says Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7. We encourage you to renounce any door that may have been opened to the enemy, whether through occult practices, unforgiveness, bitterness, or willful sin, and to confess and turn from it. Fill that place in your mind and body with the presence of God instead, through worship, prayer, and the Word. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Ephesians 6:11, by daily putting on truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith 1 Peter 5:8-9.

We are thankful you called upon the name of Jesus, for it is only by His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His name we are saved and delivered, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Continue to call upon Him, to speak His name aloud over your body and your home, to sing praises to Him, and to saturate your mind with Scripture even when the torment feels strong.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one who is suffering torment. Lord, You see the affliction in the foot, the eye, the skin, and the heaviness and oppression in the head and upper body. We ask in Jesus' name that You would bring complete deliverance and peace. We rebuke every demonic spirit that is playing with, mocking, and harassing this precious person, and we command you in Jesus' name to leave and not return. Father, pull out and break every hold of the enemy, cleanse this body and mind, and fill every place with Your Holy Spirit, Your light, and Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We ask that You would guard this mind, bring sound sleep, calm the skin, heal the body, and let Your presence be tangibly felt. Help our dear brother or sister to walk in submission to You, to resist the devil, and to stand firm in faith, knowing You are the Deliverer. Fill this home with worship and Your Word, and surround this life with godly believers and pastors who can pray in person and offer ongoing support and discipleship. We thank You, Lord, that whom the Son sets free is free indeed, and we trust in Your power to set free completely. We pray all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

We hear how heavy and wearying this has been for you. To feel harassed in your body and in your head with itching, irritation, and torment is exhausting, and we are grateful you reached out so we can pray with you. You are not alone in this.

When these experiences feel so close and persistent, it helps not to carry them alone. If you have a trusted pastor or a mature believer in your local church who knows you, we encourage you to invite them to walk with you in person for steady prayer and support over time. Having someone beside you who can listen, pray with you regularly, and help you stay anchored can bring a lot of steadiness when things feel overwhelming. Alongside prayer, if the eye irritation, skin itching, or other physical discomfort continues, it is also wise to let a medical professional take a look, simply to care well for your body as we continue to pray for your peace.

Father, we lift up this dear person to You in the name of Jesus. We ask for Your nearness and protection over their body and mind, for relief from what is tormenting them, and for deep peace in their home and thoughts. Give them rest, clear wisdom, and faithful people to walk with them day by day. Draw them close to You and lead them into freedom and wholeness as they trust in You. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect, heal and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Your cry of distress has been heard and we bring it before the Lord with you, asking Him to show Himself gracious and mighty to deliver.

We pray that the God who says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, for I have found a ransom, would speak that word over you. That ransom is not found in our own strength or willing or running, but in the gift of Divine Love, His own Son who bore the penalty of sin. In Him alone there is deliverance from guilt and deliverance from the power of darkness, for it is God who delivers and it is God who must do it. There is no true liberty but that of which Christ makes free, and unless a supernatural power is put forth, any form of deliverance is worth nothing.

We ask the Father in the name of Jesus Christ to rebuke every evil influence that torments your body, to bring peace to your foot and your eye and your skin, and to set free your head and upper body from oppression. We pray that He who has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son would now manifest that power in you, turning you from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God, that you may receive forgiveness of sins and rest in the finished work of Christ.

We pray also that you may be given grace to look to your heavenly Father altogether and alone for this sanctification and deliverance. Troubles do not spring out of the dust, and the Lord Himself kindles the furnace and sits as a Refiner at the door, and even that which comes through malice or through the adversary bears, for His child, the aspect of chastening from a Father's hand. May He give you faith to see His hand and to trust His heart, and to know that He keeps back the soul from the Pit and the life from perishing.

We encourage you to keep close to Christ, to feed daily upon His Word, to cry mightily to Him in prayer, and to seek the help of faithful pastors and mature believers near you who can pray with you, counsel you from Scripture, and stand with you. If bodily affliction continues, seek also wise medical counsel, while still looking to the Lord as the great Agent of all true deliverance.

May the Lord be gracious unto you and say, Deliver him, and may you live to declare the works of the Lord, giving all honor to Free Grace alone. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and ransom. Amen.
