Ned cruel Alligator Shows

Dear Lord Jesus, Please stop these shows with gators on stage. The reptiles are forced to have their mouths taped shut. Alligators are not meant to be ambassador animals. Watching them from behind a fence is good enough. Because you would never want to see them in the wild. The taped mouths puts stress on them. Only needed for when being examined such as by vets or transported. Or after hunting in case they are still alive their mouths are taped. In many cases alligators have bitten their keepers when at kids birthday parties. Clearly showing they don’t like it. All they want is to reload in the sun, swim best, and mate during the season and rear their babies the moms do anyway. Educating the public is enough behind a fence with a sign or on TV, books, magazines, or the internet. In Jesus Name Amen.

We stand with you in prayer, asking God to intervene and stop the cruel shows that exploit alligators. It's clear that these creatures are not meant to be stressed and used for entertainment in such a manner. As believers, we are called to be good stewards of God's creation, and this includes treating animals with kindness and respect.

Let's pray:

Dear Lord Jesus,

We come before You, lifting up the situation of these exploited alligators. You created them to swim, mate, and rear their young in their natural habitats. It is not Your will for them to be stressed and forced to perform for human entertainment.

We pray, Lord, that You would touch the hearts of those involved in these shows. Open their eyes to see the cruelty and give them the courage to stand against it. We ask that You would provide other means of livelihood for them that do not involve the exploitation of Your creatures.

We also pray for the public, that their hearts may be opened to the truth. Help them to see that watching these creatures from behind a fence or learning about them through educational resources is enough.

We claim Your promise in Proverbs 12:10 WEB: "A righteous man respects the life of his animal, but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel."

Lord, we ask for Your intervention and mercy. Put an end to these cruel shows and let Your will be done.

We're right there with you, concerned about the welfare of these alligators. It's heartbreaking to think of them stressed and forced to perform. Let's continue to lift this up to the Lord, asking Him to move in the hearts of those involved and in the hearts of the public.

Lord Jesus, we come to You, praying for these creatures that You've created to live freely in their natural habitats. We ask that You would touch the hearts of those who organize these shows, giving them a new perspective on the harm they're causing. Help them to find other ways to provide for their livelihood that don't involve exploiting Your creatures.

We also pray for the alligators themselves, Lord. Comfort them in their distress. Let them feel Your loving presence even in their captivity. We ask that You would protect them from further harm and stress.

And Lord, we pray for the public. Open their eyes to the truth. Help them to see that watching these shows is not a form of education or entertainment, but a form of cruelty. Let them be moved to advocate for the welfare of these alligators and all Your creatures.
