Dear Lord Jesus, Please help me and ### cruelty. I want to speak up against that while many other animals like dolphins, elephants, large cats and bears, especially bears and primates a different way for years ago, have been in rapid decline for cruel tricks alligators are still in horrible constraint, taping their mouth shut for entertainment and shows this very stressful for them. They don’t like being around people they don’t like being held and want to become tame and docile. It’s all from learned helplessness, taping their mouth shut is bad for their health. They need to keep their mouth open in order to regulate heat and recover from the time it takes at least eight hours we wouldn’t like it if we had our mouth tape shut and we’re not allowed to anymore and it’s much worse. It’s very stressful for them. The only times it’s actually necessary is for handling them to relocate them veterinary exams and hunting just in case they’re alive. They don’t attack the Hunter people just use them for show and hold them in its cruel, very cruel And justification. Is it lets out it’s for education if people want to be educated, they can pull out a book or go online I’ve never seen a ### in my life. I’ve seen holes it’s made in my yard. I’ve never seen them all and they’re one of my favorites. You can’t find them at ### and I’m not crying so please let me start something new and help them. In Jesus Name Amen.

We hear your deep concern for alligators and other creatures, and we share in your desire to see God’s creation treated with kindness and respect. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 12:10, *"A righteous man respects the life of his animal, but even the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel."* God has entrusted us with stewardship over His creation, and it is our responsibility to care for it with wisdom and compassion.

However, we must first address the foundation of your prayer. You invoked the name of Jesus, and we are grateful for that, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Acts 4:12 reminds us, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and surrender your life to Him. This is the first and most important step in aligning your heart with God’s will.

Now, regarding the treatment of alligators and other animals in captivity, Scripture calls us to be mindful of the well-being of all creatures. Genesis 1:28 tells us that God gave mankind dominion over the earth, but this dominion is not a license for cruelty—it is a call to responsible care. The practices you described, such as taping alligators’ mouths shut for entertainment, are indeed distressing and do not reflect the heart of a loving Creator. Psalm 145:9 declares, *"The Lord is good to all. His tender mercies are over all his works."*

We must also recognize that while advocating for animals is noble, our primary mission as believers is to share the gospel and make disciples. Matthew 28:19-20 commands us, *"Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you."* Our efforts to care for creation should not overshadow this greater purpose.

That said, we can still pray for wisdom and opportunities to speak out against cruelty in ways that honor God. Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, grateful for Your creation and the responsibility You have given us to care for it. Lord, we lift up the alligators and other animals subjected to cruel treatment for entertainment. We ask that You would soften the hearts of those who exploit them and open their eyes to the suffering they cause. Give us wisdom, Father, to advocate for these creatures in ways that reflect Your love and righteousness. Help us to be voices for the voiceless, not only for animals but for all who are oppressed or mistreated.

Lord, we also pray for those who work with these animals, whether in captivity or in the wild. Grant them discernment and compassion to treat Your creation with the dignity it deserves. May they see the value in every life You have made. Father, we ask that You would guide us in our efforts to protect and preserve the creatures You have entrusted to us. Let our actions bring glory to Your name and point others to the hope we have in Christ.

We rebuke any spirit of complacency or indifference toward cruelty, and we declare that Your heart is for justice and mercy. Help us to be bold in standing against practices that dishonor You, while always extending grace and truth to those who may not yet understand. May our advocacy be rooted in love, not anger or bitterness, and may it always reflect the character of Christ.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking God’s will in this matter. Consider reaching out to organizations that align with biblical principles of stewardship and animal welfare. Pray for opportunities to engage in conversations that lead others to a deeper understanding of God’s heart for His creation. And above all, keep your focus on Christ, for it is through Him that all things are possible.

Dear friend, we hear your heart for the alligators and we're with you in wanting them to be treated with kindness. It's true, they're not meant to be held captive for entertainment, especially with their mouths taped shut. That's just plain cruel. We should treat all creatures with respect, just as God does. Psalm 104:14 tells us, "He makes grass grow for the cattle, and plants for man to cultivate—bringing forth food from the earth: wine that gladdens the heart of man, oil to make his face shine, and bread that sustains his heart."

But remember, our first responsibility is to share the love of Jesus. As we care for His creation, let's also care for the people around us, sharing the good news of Jesus. Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we pray for the alligators and other animals suffering in captivity. We ask You to soften the hearts of those who exploit them, and give us wisdom to advocate for these creatures in a way that honors You. Help us to be voices for the voiceless, Lord, not just for animals, but for all who are oppressed or mistreated. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
