πŸ™‡πŸ» We ask for the fostering of godly alliances between free countries, for wisdom, humility (what to say and how to say it, Jn 12:49), and promotion of and strengthening of godly international alliances. We pray for the diminished influence of evil alignments, the eradication of false prophecy, teaching and persecution, and ultimately for the furtherance of free speech, press and publication, digital, written and spoken, that the Gospel of Jesus, the True Messiah, His Kingdom and all He commanded might lead to repentance and making disciples of nations throughout the world, Matt 28:18-20. We submit to You, James 4:7, to government, Rom 13, to those who will have to give account for us in the Body of Christ, Heb 13:17, put on Your Armor, Eph 6:10-20, asking for loving-kindness, truth and angelic protection for us, for them, protecting them and ourselves from the serpent and his fallen angels, Dan 10:12-13, Ps 91:10-11, Heb 1:14. Thank You that Christ, who is in us, is greater than he that is in the world, 1 Jn 4:4, and for hearing these requests, Mark 11:24, with thanksgiving we offer these requests -- let the peace of God guard our hearts and minds, Phil 4:6-7, in Christ Jesus' Name...

We lift our voices together in fervent prayer for our national, world, church, and civic leaders, standing firmly on the truth of God’s Word. First of all, we urge that prayers, petitions, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:1-4).

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts burdened for the leaders You have placed over us, whether in government, the church, or the nations of the world. We confess that it is not always easy to pray for those we disagree with or whose actions grieve us, but Your Word commands us to do so without exception. We ask for Your wisdom, salvation, and protection over the President, his family, cabinet members, service members, senators, representatives, Supreme Court justices, generals, pastors, and all spiritual leaders both here and abroad. We pray for presidents, prime ministers, governors, kings, parliaments, and congress members, all who hold positions of authority. May they govern with justice, humility, and a reverence for You, that the people under their care may live in peace and godliness.

Lord, we ask that You would raise up leaders who seek Your face and align their decisions with Your Word. Where there is corruption, expose it and replace it with integrity. Where there is confusion, bring clarity. Where there is oppression, bring freedom. We pray for godly alliances among free nations, that they would stand together in truth and righteousness, promoting the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the values of Your Kingdom. Let the light of Your truth dispel the darkness of false teachings, persecution, and deception that seek to silence the message of salvation.

We thank You for the leaders You have allowed to be in power, recognizing that there is no authority except from You (Romans 13:1). We ask that You would guide them as channels of water in Your hand (Proverbs 21:1), bending their hearts toward Your will. You sit in the heavens and do whatever pleases You (Psalm 115:3), and we trust that You are working all things according to the counsel of Your will (Ephesians 1:11). Thwart the plans of the wicked, Lord, and let Your purposes prevail. Work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

We submit ourselves to You, resisting the devil so that he will flee from us (James 4:7). We also submit to the governing authorities You have established, recognizing that they are servants of God for our good (Romans 13). We pray for our pastors and spiritual leaders, that they would shepherd Your flock with humility and truth, knowing they will give an account for those under their care (Hebrews 13:17). Clothe us all in the full armor of God so that we may stand against the schemes of the enemy (Ephesians 6:10-20). Surround our leaders and us with Your angels for protection, shielding us from the attacks of the evil one (Psalm 91:10-11; Hebrews 1:14).

Father, we thank You that Christ, who is in us, is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We declare that no weapon formed against Your people shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that the gates of hell shall not prevail against Your church (Matthew 16:18). We pray for the beautiful land You have entrusted to us, that it would be a beacon of Your glory, a place where Your truth is proclaimed, and Your people live in freedom to worship You. Let the Gospel go forth with power, leading to repentance and the making of disciples in every nation (Matthew 28:18-20).

We ask all these things with thanksgiving, trusting that You hear us when we pray according to Your will (1 John 5:14). Let the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7). We pray for the salvation of all leaders, that they would come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May Your Kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We join our hearts with yours in lifting the weight of these concerns to the Lord. Praying for β€œall in authority” can feel abstract, the names and faces blur together, and the scope of global leadership is so vast that it’s easy for our intercession to become a general sigh rather than a steady, focused offering. Yet your prayer reminds us that every one of those leaders, whether faithful or wayward, is a channel in the hand of God, and our duty is to hold each one before Him persistently.

A small habit we’ve found helpful is to pick one specific leader each day, perhaps your own nation’s president or a local church elder, and spend even just a minute lifting that person by name. You might jot their name on a card, along with a few brief notes about their current pressures (a policy debate, a health concern, a public statement), and let that guide your prayer. This brings the request down to earth and keeps our intercessions from becoming a formless burden. Over time, you’ll be surprised how the Spirit grows your compassion for individuals you may not naturally like or agree with, and your prayers gain peaceable, grounded substance.

We also want to encourage you: the very fact that you’re praying this way, scripture-drenched and kingdom-minded, is itself a work of God. He is listening, and He works through the prayers of His people in ways we may never fully trace this side of eternity.

Let us pray together now:

Father, we lift up all who lead, in churches, governments, and nations. Grant them wisdom they did not earn and protection they could not provide for themselves. Turn their hearts toward what is just, and when their plans run against Your will, we trust You to overrule. Above all, draw each one toward the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, that they might lead in the light of His truth. Keep the beautiful land and all its peoples safe under Your hand, and let Your gospel advance unhindered through every open door. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

The Lord your God has laid a charge upon every believer to pray without ceasing for all who bear the yoke of authority. This labor of your knees, lifting up kings and parliaments, presidents and pastors, is no small duty; it is the sweetest music that ever rises to the throne of the Most High. Do you think the ear of Jehovah is dull to such petitions? Far from it. When the Church begins to plead for the powers that be, the very heart of Christ, our great Intercessor, beats in unison, for He points to his bleeding hands and demands salvation for all who come to God by him. Be not weary in this well-doing, for this prayer, which desires quiet and peaceable lives of godliness, is good and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior.

Cast not away your confidence, though the times seem dark and the foundations of the earth shake. You have asked for wisdom to form godly alliances and for the scattering of evil counsel. Remember, the king’s heart is a channel of water in the hand of the Lord; He turns it wherever He wills. Let this nerve your arm to continual supplication. I urge you, yes, I beseech you with apostolic fervor, agonize in prayer for these men and women. Intercessory prayer fits you to become God's own instrument for the furtherance of the gospel. Your cry to God for them will do more to preserve their souls from the serpent's venom than all the armies of the earth. Pray then, for the prayer of a righteous man, inwrought by the Spirit, is as potent as the very decrees of God.

Let your spirit not flag when answers tarry. Did not Christ himself cry out, β€œMy God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” and yet the purchase of his blood was not lost. Your intercessions for the salvation of the worst, the blessing of the best, and the guidance of them all are following a divine example. The prayer that lies in the soul like eggs in a nest, brooded over until hatched, is the prayer that prevails. Look at the past year of God’s faithfulness, and come with thanksgiving upon your lips even while you weep over the sins of the nations. For the petition that is mingled with praise, acknowledging that God works all things after the counsel of his own will, has power to put to flight the hosts of darkness. We wrestle not against flesh and blood; every prayer for these leaders is a spear thrust against the fallen angels who seek their ruin.

This is the very essence of the matter: you cannot pray well for those you care nothing about. Let your heart be enlarged toward all in authority, whether you find their tenure pleasing or grievous. Their peril is great, and they stand for eternity. Cry out for them, β€œLord, open their eyes, that they may see!” For unless the Spirit opens a man’s eyes, he will never perceive the chariots of fire that surround the Lord’s cause. Let this be a red-letter day of prayer for them, a day of solemn league and covenant, where you plead for the peace of the beautiful land and for the lips of her prophets to be anointed with holy fire. The Lord Almighty reigns, and He bids you ask what you will; how can you do other than obey?

And let this weighty business drive you to the only ground of hope: the intercession of the Christ who ever lives. The Church is cold when she stares at her own weak faith, but mighty when she looks to her High Priest. He kneels in the heavenlies, showing his wounds, and he says, β€œI have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not.” In just this manner, his prayer covers our intercessions for nations and governors. If we would see a revival of true godliness in the halls of power, we must first find it upon our own knees. Come, then, to the mercy seat, not with a timid whisper, but with this all-encompassing cry: β€œTurn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine anger toward us to cease. Help for the sake of Christ, who is among us as he that serves.” So let the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, garrison your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
