We pray for the diminished influence of evil alignments, the eradication of false prophecy, teaching and persecution, and ultimately for the furtherance of free speech, press and publication, digital, written and spoken, that the Gospel of Jesus, the True Messiah, His Kingdom and all He commanded might lead to repentance and making disciples of nations throughout the world, Matt 28:18-20. Thank You that Christ, who is in us, is greater than he that is in the world, 1 Jn 4:4, and for hearing these requests, Mark 11:24, with thanksgiving we offer these requests -- let the peace of God guard our hearts and minds, Phil 4:6-7, in Christ Jesus' Name...

We lift our voices together in fervent prayer for our national, world, and spiritual leaders, standing firmly on the truth of Godโ€™s Word. The Scripture commands us, "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men; for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth" (1 Timothy 2:1-4 WEB). This is not merely a suggestion, it is our sacred duty, regardless of personal opinions or political affiliations. We must intercede for those in authority, that Godโ€™s will may be done through them, whether they acknowledge Him or not.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humility and urgency, lifting up every leader, presidents, prime ministers, kings, governors, senators, representatives, judges, military commanders, pastors, and spiritual leaders across the nations. You have established authority, for "there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are ordained by God" (Romans 13:1 WEB). We ask that You grant them wisdom that surpasses human understanding, that they may govern with justice, righteousness, and a heart inclined toward Your truth. Soften the hearts of those who oppose You, Lord, and open their eyes to the salvation found only in Your Son, Jesus Christ. For "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB). Without Christ, there is no true peace, no lasting wisdom, and no hope for the nations.

We pray for the protection of these leaders and their families, that You would surround them with Your angels, as You promise in Psalm 91:11: "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." Shield them from the schemes of the enemy, from deception, from corruption, and from the lies of the world. Raise up godly counsel around them, men and women who fear You and speak truth with boldness. We also pray for the fostering of godly alliances among nations, that free countries would stand together in unity, not for political gain, but for the advancement of Your Kingdom. Let the Gospel of Jesus Christ, His death, burial, and resurrection, be proclaimed without hindrance, that souls may be saved and disciples made in every nation (Matthew 28:19-20).

Lord, we acknowledge that You are sovereign over all the earth. "The kingโ€™s heart is in Yahwehโ€™s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires" (Proverbs 21:1 WEB). You work all things according to the counsel of Your will (Ephesians 1:11), and we trust that even in the midst of chaos, Your purposes will prevail. We pray against the influence of evil alliances, false teachings, and persecution of Your people. Let the truth of Your Word go forth unhindered, whether in speech, print, or digital form, that many may hear, repent, and believe. We thank You for leaders who seek to honor You, and we ask that You strengthen them, encourage them, and give them favor in the eyes of others.

Father, we confess that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Therefore, we put on the full armor of God, truth, righteousness, the readiness of the Gospel, faith, salvation, and the Word of God, so that we may stand firm against the enemyโ€™s attacks. We submit ourselves to You, resist the devil, and he will flee (James 4:7). We ask for Your loving-kindness and truth to go before us and our leaders, that we may walk in the light of Your presence.

We declare with confidence that "He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4 WEB). We thank You that You hear our prayers, for Jesus said, "Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them" (Mark 11:24 WEB). With thanksgiving, we present these requests, trusting that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7).

Lord, we also lift up the people of this beautiful land and the nations of the world. May they come to know You as Savior and Lord. Save the lost, heal the broken, and bring revival to the Church. Let Your Kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We trust in Your mighty power, Your unfailing love, and Your perfect plan. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We are moved by the heart behind this prayer, a steady, deliberate lifting of leaders before the throne of God. It is easy to grow weary or cynical, but you have chosen to obey the call to intercede for โ€œall in authorityโ€ with sincerity and Scripture-saturated persistence. That kind of faithfulness does not go unnoticed by the One who commands it.

Your request rightly rests in the reality that Christ holds all authority in heaven and on earth, and that no ruler ultimately acts outside His sovereign reach. That truth anchors us when the news feels chaotic. Praying for leaders, those we admire and those we struggle to respect, is not a passive wish; it is an active participation in Godโ€™s work, trusting Him to guide hearts, thwart schemes, and build up what is good.

We want to encourage you to continue this quiet, behind-the-scenes ministry. Perhaps consider inviting a few trusted friends to join you in a short, focused time of prayer each week for specific leaders or nations. A small, regular gathering can sharpen your intercession and lighten the burden. But even if you pray alone, know that your words join the great cloud of witnesses who have always cried out for Godโ€™s kingdom to be made visible on earth.

We pray with you now:

Father, thank You for every person who bows before You on behalf of presidents, governors, pastors, and all who hold authority. Give them wisdom they do not naturally possess. Protect them from evil counsel and draw them toward the truth of Christ. Save those who do not yet know Him, and strengthen those who do. Guide the nations toward just and peaceful alliances, and bring down every plot that opposes Your good purposes. We ask for an outpouring of Your Spirit upon the church worldwide, that the gospel may spread freely and make disciples of all peoples. We trust You, Lord God omnipotent, who reigns forever. In Jesusโ€™ name, Amen.

The first duty of the saints, the very first, is to offer supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks for all men. How often does Paul urge this upon us, and how gracious is our God to ordain that we should approach His throne on behalf of kings and all who are in authority. To speak thus is not to offer a cold duty, but to be stirred up to the sweetest exercise known to Heaven, for intercessory prayer is the most Christlike of all our petitions. When we pray for leaders, whether we admire them or despise their governance, we bow to a divine command that knows no exceptions. The heart of the Almighty is large enough to desire that men from every station come to the knowledge of the truth. He would have them saved, but not against their own wills, for we know all men will not be saved. Yet our calling is to spread before Him the names of presidents, governors, senators, generals, pastors, and all who bear rule, that we might lead quiet and peaceable lives in all godliness and honesty. What a wonder that the salvation of the vilest, the blessing of the noblest, and the guidance of all should be the object of our cries, not because our prayers have any merit, but because they ascend through the intercession of Christ our Lord.

The beautiful land, the glorious land, call it what you will, lies under the sovereign care of Him who doeth according to His will in the army of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth. None can thwart His purpose. The kingโ€™s heart is in the hand of the Lord as the rivers of water; He turneth it whithersoever He will. Therefore we do not pray as those who doubt the outcome, but as those persuaded that He is able to keep that which we have committed unto Him against that day. Think not that your feebleness makes your intercession powerless; the prevalence of prayer rests not on the strength of the man who pleads, but on the power of the argument he uses. When we plead the blood of Jesus, when we remind God of His own promises, we use arguments that can never fail. Submit yourselves therefore to God; resist the devil and he will flee from you. For leaders we ought to pray without ceasing, that God would frustrate the tokens of the liars, make diviners mad, and turn the wisdom of the wicked backward. But mark this: while we pray against evil alliances and the persecution of the saints, our unceasing cry must be for the furtherance of the gospel. The Word of God is not bound! No chains can imprison it, no decrees can silence its voice. When wicked men rise to prominence, we do not despair, for on their behalf intercession is still the appointed means by which the Lord works. Remember that intercessory prayer will knit your hearts in love to your brethren, and it will fit you for becoming Godโ€™s instrument in turning many to righteousness.

Behold, now is the day of salvation! Now, while we pray for rulers and subjects, we proclaim that God our Saviour waits to be gracious. It is not a day of accusation for the people of God, but a day in which Christโ€™s righteousness is freely imputed without works. Let no soul, whether high in earthly station or low and outcast, entertain the thought that salvation is by anything of human merit. All undone and ruined, here is a complete salvation for you! Good works are the evidence of being saved, never the cause. If it be of grace, then it is no more of works. Therefore, pray with boldness for the salvation of all sorts of men. Cry out for the president, the senator, the justice, the soldier, that they may not dance on the jaws of hell, but flee to the refuge set before them. Pray for the pastor, the missionary, the spiritual leader, that they hold fast the form of sound words, and that they deliver that which was once delivered unto the saints. A church that ceases to pray for its shepherds will soon find their candlestick removed. In your closets, in your family circles, and here in the assembly of the faithful, let the obligation of nature itself teach you: every child of God must pray for the rest of the sacred family. And in so doing, you shall find your own heart enlarged and your own strength renewed.

The Most High reigneth, and He doeth whatever He pleaseth. He sits in the heavens, and His sovereignty must be the pillow upon which we rest, yet it is no hindrance to fervent prayer, but rather its best foundation. For to whom should we go but to the God who works all things after the counsel of His own will? Therefore, offer your petitions with thanksgiving, letting your requests be made known unto God. Fear not for the ark of the Lord; even if the rulers themselves were to turn hostile, the Word of God is not bound. Pray for them till the doors of death enclose them; never cease to cry to God for those who go to the utmost extremity of sin. And as for the worst of them, remember that saving faith is not the conviction that Christ died for me in some exclusive sense, but a simple reliance upon Christ Himself. A man may know much doctrine and talk of it eloquently, but the foundation of the soulโ€™s salvation is not experience, but the finished work of our Lord. I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, give yourselves continually to this holy business. For the sake of the church, for the good of the nations, and for the glory of the grace of God, let intercession ascend like incense. The Lord bless you and make you a blessing, even for Christโ€™s sake. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayers for those in authority, for the peace of the nations, and for the spread of the gospel are fervent and many. This is good, for we are commanded to offer petitions for all people, and indeed "this is good and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth." Yet consider carefully what sort of peace you ask, and what sort of wisdom you seek for these rulers.

The wisdom of which the Apostle speaks, the wisdom we preach among the perfect, is not a wisdom of this world or of the rulers of this age, who are passing away. It is the wisdom of the Cross, hidden in mystery, which God ordained before the ages for our glory. The world counts it foolishness, but it is the very power of God. When you pray for leaders to be guided by a biblical worldview, take care that you do not imagine a kingdom built by mere human alliances and the strength of free speech, as though the gospel depended on senators and parliaments. The word of the Cross upset the proud wisdom of the Greeks and the demand for signs among the Jews. God made foolish the wisdom of this world precisely by saving through the stumbling block of a crucified Messiah. If the rulers of this age had possessed true wisdom, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

Do not cease, then, to pray for kings and all in high positions, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and dignity. The institution of government is from God, and even when individual rulers act wickedly, the office itself is ordained to restrain evil and maintain outward order. Just as a man and his wife dwelling in love must be at peace for a household to stand, so civil peace is a good thing that allows the Church to go about her business of saving souls. But do not mistake every concord for the peace of Christ. The peace He gives is not as the world gives. He came not to cast a superficial peace over unhealed sin, but to bring a sword that divides light from darkness. There can be no true peace while sin remains unamputated. Consider the tower of Babel: they had one language and one wicked purpose, and their false agreement had to be shattered by a holy discord. So there are times when the seeming peace among robbers and heretics must be disturbed for the sake of salvation.

Therefore, when you pray for the president, the cabinet, the judges, and all who wield earthly power, pray first that they themselves would bow the knee to the One who sits at the right hand of God, who by Himself purged our sins. Pray that they would be counted among those whom the world calls foolish, the believers, the perfect, who rely not on their own wisdom but on the word of the Cross. Ask not so much that they forge godly geopolitical alliances as that they themselves be brought to repentance and the knowledge of the truth. For what does it profit a nation to have righteous laws outwardly while its rulers remain slaves to the passions? The heart of the king is a stream of water in the hand of the Lord; He turns it wherever He will. Therefore, be more earnest for their souls than for their policies.

You recall rightly that we must submit to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except from God. This includes those we dislike, those who persecute, those who seem to us foolish or wicked. Did not our Master sit weary by the well, not rejecting the Samaritan woman though her nation was estranged? Did He not command us to pronounce peace upon every house we enter, whether they receive it or not? So let your prayers and your love extend even to those who stand against the truth, that they might be drawn to salvation. For it is written, "Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you." This is the mark of the sons of God, for they imitate the One who makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good.

Finally, do not let the peace of your own heart be disturbed by the rise and fall of nations. Christ is in you, and greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. The rulers of this age are coming to nothing, but the word of the Lord endures forever. Put on the armor of God, yes, but know that the battle is already won. He has taken His great power and begun to reign. The peace the angels proclaimed was not a truce between armies, but reconciliation between heaven and earth through the blood of the Cross. That peace is yours, and from its unshakable fortress you can intercede with confidence. Pray, then, for all men; give thanks always; and let the peace of Christ rule in your heart, even as you ask for the salvation of the worst, the blessing of the best, and the guidance of them all, knowing that the Lord God Omnipotent reigns.
