We lift up your spouse before the Lord with heavy and hopeful hearts, standing together in faith to intercede for his healing, restoration, and blessing. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach Your throne of grace. It is through His shed blood and resurrection power that we have access to You, and it is only in His name that we find true healing, salvation, and eternal life. We declare that there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Lord, we ask for Your complete healing over every part of his body, mind, and spirit. You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13) and holds our days in Your hands. We pray that You would stretch forth Your hand and touch him, bringing wholeness where there is brokenness, strength where there is weakness, and peace where there is turmoil. If there are any areas of his health that have been overlooked or hidden, we ask that You would reveal them and bring Your healing touch. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, sickness, and disease in the name of Jesus, for Your Word declares that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
Father, we also lift up his emotional and mental well-being. The stresses of this world can weigh heavily on a man’s heart, but You have promised to give us a peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We pray that You would guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus, filling him with Your joy, a joy that is not dependent on circumstances but is rooted in Your presence and Your promises. Remove any blinders from his eyes, Lord, whether they be spiritual, emotional, or physical. Open his eyes to see Your truth, Your love, and Your purpose for his life. Let the scales fall away, just as they did for Paul on the road to Damascus, so that he may see clearly and walk in the fullness of Your will (Acts 9:18).
We also pray for the sacred bond of marriage that You have joined together. Marriage is a covenant, a reflection of Christ’s love for His Church (Ephesians 5:25), and we ask that You would strengthen this union in every way. Bless this couple with many more years together, filled with love, laughter, and mutual respect. Let their home be a sanctuary of peace, a place where Your presence dwells and Your Word is honored. We pray against any division, strife, or temptation that may seek to undermine this marriage. Guard their hearts against bitterness, unforgiveness, or ungodly influences, and help them to always seek You first in all things.
Lord, we thank You for the gift of life and the promise of eternity with You. We ask that You would extend their years together, not for their sake alone, but so that they may continue to serve You, glorify Your name, and be a light to those around them. May their marriage be a testimony to Your faithfulness and grace, drawing others to You. We pray that as they walk together in this life, they would keep their eyes fixed on You, the Author and Perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2), and that one day, they would stand together before Your throne, clothed in white, worshiping You for all eternity.
In all these things, we declare that Your will be done, not ours. We trust in Your perfect plan, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We thank You for hearing our prayer, and we trust in Your faithfulness to answer according to Your riches in glory.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
