Prayer Warrior
From December 24th to December 25th, I was working incessantly and spending all my money trying to fix my house to rent it out. It turned out to be a disaster, as the house is still in a lot of disrepair. It has termites, I haven't been able to fix any of the electrical wiring, which doesn't work, nor the lock on the front door, and there are still broken windows. I don't have a penny left and no way to get ahead. It was my marriage, and my plan was to rent it out and have some income from it.

We hear your deep frustration and exhaustion, and we lift you up before the Lord with heavy hearts. This situation is overwhelming, and it’s clear you poured everything—your time, your strength, and your resources—into what felt like a godly plan to provide for your family. Yet now, you stand in the rubble of disappointment, with nothing left to give. The weight of this burden is not lost on us, and we stand with you in prayer, asking the Father to intervene in ways only He can.

First, we must rebuke the spirit of despair that seeks to take hold of you. The enemy would love nothing more than for you to believe this setback is the end of the story, that your labor was in vain, and that hope is lost. But Scripture declares, *"The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly"* (John 10:10 WEB). This trial is not the final word—God is still on the throne, and He is able to restore what has been broken. We also rebuke the termite infestation and every other physical manifestation of decay in that house, for the earth and all that is in it belongs to the Lord (Psalm 24:1 WEB). We command, in the name of Jesus, that every destructive force at work in that property cease its activity, and we ask the Lord to send His angels to guard and protect it until His purpose is fulfilled.

We also want to gently address the foundation of your plan. You mentioned this house was tied to your marriage, and we must ask: Was this endeavor entered into with prayer and seeking the Lord’s will, or did it become an idol—a source of security apart from Him? Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) warns us, *"Don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* It’s possible that God allowed this setback to redirect your trust back to Him, to remind you that He is your provider, not your own efforts or possessions. We don’t say this to condemn, but to invite you to examine your heart before the Lord. Have you placed your hope in the work of your hands, or in the One who holds all things together?

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother, lifting up his heavy heart and weary hands. Lord, You see the exhaustion, the financial strain, and the sense of failure that threatens to overwhelm him. We ask that You would pour out Your grace upon him, reminding him that his worth is not found in what he owns or accomplishes, but in the finished work of Jesus Christ. Father, we declare that You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. You fed the Israelites with manna in the wilderness, You multiplied the widow’s oil, and You turned water into wine—nothing is too hard for You. We ask that You would open doors of provision that no man can shut. Whether through unexpected income, wise counsel, or supernatural intervention, Lord, make a way where there seems to be no way.

We pray for that house, Lord. We ask that You would send skilled laborers who love You to help restore it, whether through discounted services, volunteers, or even miraculous favor. We rebuke the spirit of delay and ask that every repair be completed swiftly and efficiently, as You did when Nehemiah rebuilt the walls of Jerusalem in just 52 days (Nehemiah 6:15 WEB). Father, we also ask that You would protect the property from further damage and that You would prepare the right tenant—one who will honor You and be a blessing to our brother’s family.

Lord, we ask that You would heal any bitterness or resentment that may have taken root in his heart. Replace it with trust in Your goodness, even in the midst of this trial. Remind him that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28 WEB), even when the path is unclear. Strengthen his marriage, Lord, and help him and his wife to lean on You together, united in prayer and purpose.

Finally, Father, we ask that You would draw our brother closer to You through this season. May he seek Your face more than Your hand, and may he find his peace in Your presence rather than in his circumstances. We thank You for hearing our prayer, and we declare that this is not the end of the story—it is merely a chapter in the testimony You are writing. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

In the days ahead, we encourage you to take this to the Lord in prayer daily, laying every detail before Him. James 4:2 (WEB) reminds us, *"You don’t have, because you don’t ask."* Have you asked God for wisdom in how to proceed? Have you sought godly counsel from fellow believers who may have experience in real estate or home repairs? Proverbs 15:22 (WEB) says, *"Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established."* You are not alone in this, and the body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2 WEB).

We also encourage you to surrender this house—and your plans for it—fully to the Lord. It may be that God has a different purpose for this property than you originally envisioned. Perhaps He wants to use it as a ministry to bless someone in need, or maybe He will sell it to provide for your family in a way you haven’t considered. Whatever the case, trust that His ways are higher than yours (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB). Release your grip on the outcome and ask Him to align your desires with His will.

Lastly, we want to remind you that your identity is not found in your possessions, your productivity, or even your role as a provider. Your identity is found in Christ. You are a child of the Most High God, redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and nothing—not a broken house, not an empty bank account, not even failure—can separate you from His love (Romans 8:38-39 WEB). Rest in that truth, and let it anchor your soul as you navigate this storm. You are not forgotten, and you are not forsaken. The same God who parted the Red Sea, who raised Lazarus from the dead, and who conquered the grave is fighting for you. Hold on to Him, and watch what He will do.

We're right here with you, brother. We see the struggle, the exhaustion, and the disappointment. It's like you've been pouring everything into a bucket with a hole in it, and it's all draining away. But remember, God sees you. He knows your heart, your efforts, and your intentions.

We want to encourage you with these words from the Lord: "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." (2 Corinthians 12:9) He's not asking you to fix this alone. He's asking you to trust Him in the midst of it.

Let's pray together:

Lord, we come to You on behalf of our brother. We lift up his heavy heart and weary hands to You. Father, You see the exhaustion, the financial strain, and the sense of failure that's threatening to overwhelm him. We ask that You would pour out Your grace upon him, reminding him that his worth is not found in what he owns or accomplishes, but in the finished work of Jesus Christ.

Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. You fed the Israelites with manna in the wilderness, You multiplied the widow's oil, and You turned water into wine - nothing is too hard for You. We ask that You would open doors of provision that no man can shut. Whether through unexpected income, wise counsel, or supernatural intervention, Lord, make a way where there seems to be no way.

We also pray for that house, Lord. We ask that You would send skilled laborers who love You to help restore it. We rebuke the spirit of delay and ask that every repair be completed swiftly and efficiently. Father, we also ask that You would protect the property from further damage and that You would prepare the right tenant - one who will honor You and be a blessing to our brother's family.

Lord, we ask that You would heal any bitterness or resentment that may have taken root in his heart. Replace it with trust in Your goodness, even in the midst of this trial. Remind him that You are working all things together for his good, even when the path is unclear.

We thank You for hearing our prayer, and we declare that this is not the end of the story - it's merely a chapter in the testimony You are writing. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Keep trusting, brother. Keep praying. Keep seeking. God's got this.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this incredibly challenging time. Our hearts have been heavy as we’ve lifted up your situation—your exhaustion, the financial strain, and the weight of seeing your plans unravel despite your hard work. We’ve prayed for wisdom, provision, and peace to cover you as you navigate the repairs still needed in your home, and we’ve asked the Lord to open doors where they seem shut.

If God has moved in ways you’ve seen—whether through unexpected help, a breakthrough in the repairs, or even just a renewed sense of His presence—we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If the burden still feels just as heavy, please know we are here to continue praying. You are not forgotten, and we will keep lifting this need before the Father, trusting that He sees every detail and will provide in His perfect timing.

May He grant you strength for each day, clarity for the next steps, and the assurance that He is working even when the answers aren’t yet visible. We pray this in Jesus’ name.
