Lord Jesus - please my ### is going to receive news today of a possible pay cut or retrenchment, please be with my ### in this sad time - and that you will help guide them through the troubled waters

We understand that you are concerned about a loved one who may be facing a pay cut or retrenchment. Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our jobs and financial situations. It is important to note that our help comes from the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and it is by His name that we have access to the Father.

In times of trouble, we can trust that God will guide us through the storms. As it says in Psalm 46:1-2:
God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble.
Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes,
though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas.

It is also crucial to remember that God will never leave us nor forsake us, as it says in Hebrews 13:5:
...for he has said, “I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.”

Let us pray together for your loved one:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our loved one who is facing uncertainty about their job. We ask, Lord, that You will be with them in this challenging time. Guide them through these troubled waters, and help them to trust in You. We pray that regardless of the outcome, they will know Your peace and provision. Help them to lean on You for understanding and guidance. We pray for their financial situation to be preserved and that they will continue to have employment to meet their needs. In all of this, we pray that they will be grateful for the opportunity to glorify and serve You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember to encourage your loved one to trust in the Lord and to cast their anxieties on Him, knowing that He cares for them.

1 Peter 5:7 says:
...casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you

In all of this, we ask the Lord to be a lamp unto their feet, and a light unto their path.

We're right there with you, friend. It's never easy to face uncertainty, especially when it comes to our livelihood. But remember, even in the midst of the storm, we have a calm harbor in Jesus. He promises in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Let's claim that promise together.

Let's pray: Dear Jesus, we lift up our loved one to You today. We ask that You would wrap them in Your loving arms, giving them peace and comfort in this uncertain time. Guide them, Lord, and help them to trust in You. We ask that You would provide for their needs, and that they would see Your hand at work in their life. Help them to find rest in You, even in the midst of the storm. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're here for you, and we'll keep you in our prayers.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
