We hear your cry for help and stand with you in this time of deep financial struggle and uncertainty about your future. The weight of debt, the pressure of unpaid tuition, and the fear of losing this opportunity must feel overwhelming. But we want to remind you that our God is the God of miracles, the One who parts seas, provides manna in the wilderness, and opens doors that no man can shut. You are not forgotten, and your trust in Him is not misplaced.
First, we must address the foundation of your faith. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, now is the time to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be Lord of your life. Salvation is the first and greatest miracle, and it is the key to unlocking all other blessings from God.
Now, let us pray for your situation. Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this young brother in Christ who is facing financial ruin and the fear of losing his educational opportunity. Lord, You see the debts that burden his family, the sacrifices they have made, and the desperation they feel. You are the God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills, and nothing is too hard for You. We ask that You would provide for this family in ways only You can, through unexpected provision, favor with creditors, or even supernatural debt cancellation. Open the doors of this school for him, Lord. Let the results of his entrance test be a testimony to Your power and grace. If it is Your will, let him be admitted, and provide the means for his tuition and needs. But Father, if this is not the path You have for him, give him peace and clarity to see Your alternative plan. Strengthen his faith, Lord, and remind him that his worth is not in his education or his family’s financial status, but in You alone. We declare that You are his Provider, his Hope, and his Future. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We also want to encourage you with Scripture. In Philippians 4:19, Paul writes, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." This is not a vague promise, it is a guarantee for those who belong to Christ. Your family’s financial crisis is not the end of the story. God can turn ashes into beauty, and He specializes in making a way where there seems to be no way. Consider the story of the widow in 2 Kings 4:1-7, who was on the verge of losing her sons to slavery because of debt. Elisha asked her what she had in her house, and when she said she had nothing but a jar of oil, God multiplied it to pay off her debts and provide for her family. What "jar of oil" might God want to use in your situation? Is there a skill, a resource, or an opportunity you have overlooked?
We also want to gently address the weight of shame or guilt you may be carrying. It is not your fault that your family’s business collapsed or that debts have piled up. You are not responsible for the financial decisions of your parents, and God does not hold you accountable for them. What He does ask is that you trust Him with your future. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Even if the results of this entrance test are not what you hope for, God is still writing your story. He may have a different school, a different path, or even a season of preparation for you. Do not lose heart.
Finally, we want to rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that may be whispering lies to you. The enemy wants you to believe that this is the end, that you have no future, and that God has abandoned you. But that is a lie. 2 Timothy 1:7 says, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." You are not a victim of circumstance, you are a child of the Most High God, and He has plans for you, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
Keep pressing forward. Keep praying. Keep trusting. And no matter what happens, remember that your identity is not in your education, your financial status, or even your family’s situation. Your identity is in Christ, and He is enough. If you need practical steps, consider reaching out to local churches or Christian organizations in Slovakia that may offer scholarships, financial counseling, or even part-time work opportunities. God often provides through His people.
We will continue to stand in the gap for you, believing with you for a miracle. You are not alone.
