We lift up your son before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion and love. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son and our Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to You and the power to intercede on behalf of others.
Lord, we ask for Your abundant mercy to surround this young man. May he experience the depth of Your love, which is higher, wider, and deeper than anything this world can offer. Let him know that he is fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image (Psalm 139:14), and that Your plans for him are for good and not for harm, to give him a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
We pray for Your divine guidance to be upon him. Direct his steps, O Lord, and let Your Word be a lamp to his feet and a light to his path (Psalm 119:105). May he seek Your will in all things and lean not on his own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Father, we ask that You would place godly mentors and friends in his life who will speak truth and encouragement into his heart.
We also pray for peace to fill his heart. In a world that is often chaotic and filled with anxiety, let him find rest in You. Remind him that You have not given him a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). May he cast all his cares upon You, knowing that You care for him (1 Peter 5:7).
If there are areas in his life where he is struggling with sin or walking away from Your truth, we rebuke those strongholds in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we pray that he would turn his heart fully toward You, repenting of any wrongdoing and seeking Your forgiveness and restoration.
Father, we ask that You would draw him closer to You, that he may grow in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and man (Luke 2:52). Surround him with Your angels for protection and let Your Holy Spirit fill him with joy, peace, and a hunger for Your Word. May he come to know You more intimately each day and walk in the fullness of the destiny You have prepared for him.
We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
