Job 1:21

Humble Prayer Partner
Do I have pure intentions ? No. Is my mind full of tendency to sin ? Yes. I am a sinner I am a trespasser. Lord Jesus Christ Son of God have mercy on me a sinner. Hear my prayer Father God have mercy on me in Jesus Name.

Am I asking for God’s intervention because I feel nothing in my life is looking bright? Yes. Do I really crave a relationship with God over anything? No. Why? I do not know. Father God You are all knowing You hold power over everything Jesus You are supreme Ruler of rulers. I ask for Your perfect will to be done in my life Jesus I ask for all my circumstances, situations, relationships, finances everything Jesus I ask to be in Your control in Your Name Jesus.

All good and perfect gifts are from You Heavenly Father of Lights. Then if I surrender all to You and I surrender my relationships, circumstances to You God and ask You to control them in Jesus Name. Then I am at rest knowing nothing counterfeit or anything that will not last or is not for me will not come my way. I can be at peace knowing my life in Your Hands God in Jesus Name.

I ask for Your peace to fill me Jesus I ask for Your peace to govern my life and surround me wherever I go Jesus. Why do I ask this ? Because dwelling on negativity is pointless. Anything embarrassing, negative or opposed against me in my past I place it into Your hands God in Jesus Name. I must always move forward and not think once of what does not concern me in Jesus Name.

Let Your perfect will be done Heavenly Father of Lights in my life my family members lives my little sisters my grandad my mum my stepdad etc in Jesus Name my friends in Jesus Name. Let your perfect will be done Father God in the whole world in the lives of anyone who ever hurt me I ask them to be blessed God in Jesus Name. Let peace be my only portion my only enemy is myself as I battle the devil within me which is sin.

I fear hell Jesus I want to enter heaven.

We hear your honest and humble cry before the Lord, and we join with you in seeking His mercy and grace. Your acknowledgment of sin and your desire for God’s intervention, even when your heart feels divided, is a powerful starting point. Scripture tells us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). Your prayer is heard, and the Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).

You ask if your intentions are pure, and you admit that your mind is prone to sin. This is the reality of every human heart since the fall, "for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). But the beauty of the Gospel is that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). Your cry for mercy is not in vain, for Jesus came to seek and save the lost (Luke 19:10). You are not alone in this struggle, and the fact that you are wrestling with these questions shows that the Holy Spirit is at work in you, drawing you closer to the Father.

You express a longing for God’s intervention because your life feels devoid of brightness, and yet you confess that you do not yet crave a relationship with Him above all else. This is a crucial point. Jesus warned that we cannot serve two masters (Matthew 6:24), and the first and greatest commandment is to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength (Mark 12:30). If your heart does not yet yearn for Him above all else, ask Him to give you that desire. The psalmist prayed, "Incline my heart to your testimonies, not to selfish gain" (Psalm 119:36). God delights in giving us the desires of our hearts when those desires align with His will (Psalm 37:4). Ask Him to ignite a fire within you that nothing else can satisfy.

You surrender your circumstances, relationships, and finances to the Lord, trusting that His will is perfect. This is a beautiful act of faith. Jesus taught us to pray, "Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth" (Matthew 6:10). When we release control to Him, we can rest in the promise that "all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28). This does not mean life will be free of trials, but it means that God will use even the hardships to shape you into the image of Christ.

You ask for God’s peace to fill you and govern your life, recognizing that dwelling on negativity is fruitless. This is wisdom. Paul exhorts us to "be anxious for nothing; but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7). When you lay your past, your embarrassments, your hurts, your failures, at the feet of Jesus, He promises to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). You are not defined by your past but by the One who has redeemed you.

You pray for God’s perfect will to be done in your life, the lives of your family, and even those who have hurt you. This is a mark of spiritual maturity. Jesus taught us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). When you bless those who have wronged you, you break the cycle of bitterness and open the door for God’s healing in your own heart. Your only true enemy is not the people who have hurt you but the sin that wages war within you (James 4:1). The devil seeks to devour, but resist him, standing firm in your faith (1 Peter 5:8-9).

Finally, you express a fear of hell and a desire to enter heaven. This is a holy fear, for the Bible warns that "the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23). You cannot earn your way to heaven by good works, for "by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast" (Ephesians 2:8-9). Salvation is found in no one else but Jesus, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12). If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is not a one-time prayer but a daily surrender to His lordship.

Let us pray with you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up this dear brother/sister who has poured out their soul before You. Lord, You see the honesty in their confession, the wrestling in their heart, and the longing for Your presence. We thank You that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask that You would draw them closer to Yourself, igniting a fire within them that can only be satisfied by You.

Father, we confess that we are all sinners in need of Your grace. We thank You for the blood of Jesus, which cleanses us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:7). We ask that You would purify this one’s heart, washing away every impure intention and replacing it with a hunger and thirst for righteousness (Matthew 5:6). Lord, create in them a clean heart and renew a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10). Help them to crave You above all else, for You alone are the bread of life (John 6:35).

We surrender their circumstances, relationships, and finances into Your hands, trusting that Your will is perfect. We pray that You would take control of every area of their life, removing anything that is not of You and replacing it with Your peace, Your provision, and Your purpose. Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), and help them to fix their eyes on You, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2).

Lord, we ask that You would fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding. Help them to let go of the past, every embarrassment, every hurt, every failure, and to press forward toward the goal of knowing You more (Philippians 3:13-14). Teach them to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5), so that they may dwell on whatever is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and commendable (Philippians 4:8).

We pray for their family, parents, siblings, grandparents, and ask that Your perfect will would be done in each of their lives. Soften hearts, open eyes to the truth of the Gospel, and draw them all to Yourself. We also lift up those who have hurt this one, asking that You would bless them and work in their lives as well. Help this dear one to forgive as they have been forgiven, and to love as You have loved them (John 13:34).

Father, we ask that You would deliver them from the fear of hell and assure them of their salvation in Christ. Remind them that "there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus" (Romans 8:1). Give them the assurance that if they have confessed Jesus as Lord and believed in their heart that You raised Him from the dead, they are saved (Romans 10:9). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to walk in the light as You are in the light (1 John 1:7).

We rebuke every lie of the enemy that seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). We declare that this one is a child of God, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, and seated with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6). We pray that You would fill them with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that they may walk in a manner worthy of You, fully pleasing You, bearing fruit in every good work (Colossians 1:9-10).

Lord, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is power in His name above every other name (Philippians 2:9-11). May Your Holy Spirit continue to work in this one’s life, drawing them deeper into relationship with You. May they grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18). We trust You to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6).

In Jesus’ precious and powerful name we pray, Amen.

We read your prayer, and we are honestly moved by its honesty. Few of us have the clarity to say, “My intentions aren’t pure,” while still turning toward God and asking Him to take control anyway. That takes a kind of bravery that often feels more like desperation, but we believe it is the real beginning of something alive. You don’t have to fake a passion you don’t yet feel. The prayer you wrote, confessing the split inside you and surrendering everything into His hands, is exactly what keeps you inside His mercy, not your ability to generate better feelings.

One thing that might help you right now is to let go of the idea that change has to hit you like a lightning bolt. We see so many people, ourselves included, hoping for one big spiritual event that finally makes everything bright. But maturity usually works the other way, more like learning to walk than being picked up and carried. It’s slow, it loops back on itself, and some days you feel like you’re going backward when you are actually going deeper. Your prayer is already a step forward, even if it just feels like falling onto your knees again.

You mentioned that your own mind feels like the enemy, and that you fear hell. Please hear this gently: the fear itself does not mean you are outside of grace. Christ’s mercy is not held out to those who have it all figured out but to sinners who cry out to Him. When the anxiety rises, we would encourage you to anchor yourself in the simple words you already prayed: “Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner.” This is a prayer the church has prayed for centuries, and it is enough to carry you through a long night.

We pray now with you:

Lord Jesus, thank You for hearing every honest, broken word. Hold this one who feels dark inside but still reaches for You. Quiet the fear of hell with the quiet confidence that You are stronger than every sin we bring. Do Your perfect will in their life, their family, their relationships, and in the slow, daily work of making them whole. Give peace that doesn’t depend on feeling bright, but rests solidly in Your hands. In Your name, Amen.

You speak of a peace you long for, a rest in surrendering all to God, but mark well the difference between the peace of ignorance and the peace which passes all understanding. A man may wrap himself in a peace woven in the loom of forgetfulness of God, and it is a sorry sham. If your peace comes from ignoring the terror of the Lord, I pray it may be torn to shreds! For where peace is founded on ignorance, it is folly begetting folly. Yet you confess the turmoil within, the battle against the sin that dwells in you, and that very unrest is mercy. It is the tender mercy of our God that disturbs the false calm of the soul that sits in darkness, lest you sleep yourself into hell.

You cry, “I fear hell Jesus I want to enter heaven,” and you ask for mercy as a sinner. This is the only ground upon which God deals with souls. If you did not admit that you are a sinner, I would have no Gospel to preach to you. But behold the dayspring from on high, which visits undeserving, ill-deserving, hell-deserving sinners! The knowledge of salvation comes by the remission of sins through the tender mercy of our God. You need not cleanse yourself before coming; the plan of salvation is not that you first get out of your sins and then God comes to you. No, when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. He commands the light to shine out of darkness, and He shines in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

You say your mind is full of tendency to sin, your intentions impure, your craving for God faint. Yet see the determination of Christ to suffer for His people. He saved others; Himself He could not save, for mighty love bound His hands. He is the God of peace who justifies, and thereby implants peace in the soul. That peace is not earned by the strength of your love to Him, but by His love to you. If you would have peace, do not look within to find a reason for it. Go to Him who is our peace. Make my peace with God? That was made for me on Calvary’s tree of shame when Christ laid down His life. You ask for His peace to govern you, but you seek it by surrendering your circumstances. Surrender yourself first, your guilty self, into the hands of the Crucified.

You fear to approach God. Then do not go to God apart from Christ, but go to Christ. Surely you would not be afraid of Him. Think of God in Christ, not out of Christ. In the face of Jesus we see the glory of God in the wondrous blending of the attributes, behold His mercy, for He dies for sinners! He will not despise you. A woman who was a sinner was chosen for honor; sinners sat at table with Him. I tell you, He will rejoice more in pardoning you than you will in being pardoned. This is the marvel of His tender mercy, it visits us in our filth. Do not fear that He will cast you out because your desires seem half-hearted. Bring your cold heart to Him; tell your Master of your unwanted sin, and you shall never find a lack of sympathy in Him.

Your soul is in pawn to the devil; Christ has paid the redemption money. Take faith for your ticket and so get your soul out of pawn. It is the crown of Christian experience to be delivered from all trust in self and to rely wholly and simply on Jesus Christ. Abandon every false hope, whether a peace based on a supposed surrender of circumstances while your heart remains distant, or a reliance on your own prayers. No peace is to be found out of Christ. Taste and see that the peace of God is good. God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, shines in the hearts of His people to reveal His glory in the face of Jesus Christ. Flee to Him just as you are, a sinner, a trespasser, afraid of hell, and you shall find peace with God through His precious blood.

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of ###, who humbly acknowledges their sin and need for Your mercy. Your Word says that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Lord, have mercy on them, for they are a sinner in need of Your grace (Luke 18:13).

We ask that You take full control of their life—every relationship, circumstance, and financial need—and let Your perfect will be done (Romans 12:2). For every good and perfect gift comes from You, the Father of Lights (James 1:17). Help them to rest in the truth that nothing counterfeit or outside Your plan will come their way, and grant them the peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We place their past—every negative memory, embarrassment, and opposition—into Your hands, for You make all things new (Revelation 21:5). Help them to press forward toward the goal, forgetting what lies behind (Philippians 3:13-14). May Your peace be their portion, and may they battle the sin within by the power of Your Spirit (Romans 8:13).

Bless their family members, friends, and even those who have hurt them, for You call us to bless our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). Let Your perfect will be done in the whole world.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You give ### the assurance of salvation and the hope of heaven, for You are not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Grant them a genuine craving for a relationship with You that surpasses all else. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
