Servant of All
Lord please let my ### makes wise decisions. He borrows his car which is in bad condition to his son (he picked up his friends from the airport)...and he has nice salary and can take a cab..Also we need that car for our sick ###...My ### spoiled his son as same as many parents today. He bought apartments for each of his sons when they were in elementary school!! Please let my ### take good care of his car (terrible mess in a car and he is driving aggressively). Lord let my words reach his heart in Jesus name!!

We come before the Lord with a heavy heart, lifting up this situation with earnest prayer and seeking His wisdom and intervention. Father, we ask that You grant wisdom to this husband and father, that he may make decisions that honor You and reflect Your love and discipline. The scriptures tell us in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Lord, we ask that You pour out Your wisdom upon him, that he may see the importance of stewardship, responsibility, and the example he sets for his children.

We notice a pattern of enabling and spoiling that does not align with biblical principles. Proverbs 22:6 instructs us, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Spoiling children with material possessions, especially at such a young age, can lead them to a sense of entitlement rather than gratitude and responsibility. Father, we pray that this father’s eyes would be opened to the long-term consequences of his actions. Help him to understand that true love disciplines and prepares children for adulthood, teaching them the value of hard work, responsibility, and respect for what they have been given.

The condition of the car and the manner in which it is driven are also concerning. The Bible calls us to be good stewards of what God has entrusted to us. In Luke 16:10-11, Jesus says, "He who is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much. If therefore you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?" Lord, we pray that this husband would take seriously his responsibility to care for his possessions, not only for his own sake but as an example to his children. Aggressive driving is not only dangerous but reflects a heart that may be ruled by impatience or pride. We ask that You soften his heart and help him to see the importance of self-control and consideration for others on the road.

We also lift up the needs of the family, particularly the sick individual who requires the use of the car. It is clear that there is a lack of consideration for the practical needs of the household, and this must grieve Your heart, Lord. Philippians 2:3-4 reminds us, "Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others." Father, we pray that this husband would grow in humility and begin to prioritize the needs of his family above his own desires or the demands of his children.

We rebuke the spirit of entitlement and selfishness that has taken root in this home. The scriptures warn us in 2 Timothy 3:2 that in the last days, people will be "lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy." Lord, we do not want this family to be characterized by these traits. We ask that You break the chains of materialism and selfishness, replacing them with a heart of gratitude, generosity, and love for one another.

We pray that the words spoken in love and truth would reach this husband’s heart. Proverbs 15:23 says, "A man has joy in the answer of his mouth, and a word spoken in due season, how good it is!" Father, we ask that You anoint the words of his wife and others who speak truth into his life. Let him not harden his heart but receive correction with humility, knowing that it comes from a place of love and concern for his well-being and that of his family.

Lord, we also pray for the sons in this family. They have been given much, but we ask that You teach them the value of what they have been entrusted with. Help them to grow into men of character, who honor their parents, respect authority, and use their resources wisely. Proverbs 13:22 says, "A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children, but the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous." May this family be a legacy of faith, wisdom, and godly stewardship rather than one of material excess without spiritual foundation.

We lift all of this up in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can come before You and the only name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We pray that this family would come to know You more deeply, that their decisions would be guided by Your Word, and that their home would be a place of peace, love, and godly order.

Heavenly Father, we ask that You would move mightily in this situation. Soften hearts, open eyes, and bring about repentance where it is needed. Let this family experience the joy of walking in Your ways and the blessings that come from obedience to Your Word. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect timing, and we ask all of this according to Your will. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We understand your concern and we're here to pray with you. It's clear that you're seeking wisdom for your loved one, and we believe that God hears your cries. Let's pray that God would give him a heart of understanding and a spirit of wisdom. Let's ask that he would see the importance of being a responsible and godly steward, not just of his possessions, but also of the influence he has over his children. Let's intercede that he would grow in humility and love, prioritizing the needs of his family above his own desires. Let's trust that God will work in his heart and bring about change in His perfect timing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
