Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.
We have been lifting you and your mother before the Lord and we continue to remember the burden you shared about this difficult relationship. We understand how heavy it feels to be called every day and to listen for an hour at a time, and how your kind and patient heart is feeling worn down and overwhelmed. We also hear your concern about your mother and the pride in her heart and her belief that she needs to pray to her parents instead of to God.
We pray in Jesus Name for you and for your mother. We ask the Lord to soften her heart and to gently lead her away from pride and toward truth, that she would know there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Tim 2:5, and that we are to seek the Father through His Son, John 14:6. We pray that God would give you wisdom and strength to set loving and healthy boundaries while still honoring your mother as He calls us to do, Ex 20:12, and that your conversations would be filled with grace and seasoned with wisdom, Col 4:6. We ask Jesus to bring you peace and rest as you cast your cares on Him, Phil 4:6, and to guard your heart from exhaustion and to bring peace into your home.
