Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Your burden for your mother and for your own rest is heard with compassion. To watch a dear mother lose memory, become confused and disoriented, and live in panic is a heavy sorrow, and it is understandable that your heart beats fast and you feel tense and worried, never knowing what the night will bring when she calls for you and your brother.

Scripture reminds us that the Lord is the keeper of His people who neither slumbers nor sleeps, so you can bring your cares to Him even in the night watches. The peace Christ gives is not only the absence of outward trouble but a guard within the heart when the mind is troubled and thoughts are darkened. We pray that He will quiet the fear and anxiety within and establish His peace in you and in your home, a peace that allows calm and trust to remain even when circumstances are difficult and wearisome.

Let us pray together. Father in heaven, we come to You through Jesus Christ alone, our only Savior and hope. We ask for Your mercy upon this dear mother. You see her confusion, her loss of memory and her panic, and we ask that You would comfort her heart, calm her fears and grant her sweet and peaceful sleep. Lay Your hand of peace upon her and upon this family. Lord, we ask also for this child who is weary and tense. Grant rest for body and soul, steady the racing heart and give deep, refreshing sleep. Guard this home from confusion and distress and let Your presence bring order and comfort. We ask You to rebuke every work of the enemy that seeks to bring turmoil, and let Your peace which passes all understanding guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Give wisdom to the family and to those who provide care, and sustain them with strength day by day. We trust Your good will and Your power to heal and to sustain, and we ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Continue to cast your cares upon Him, seek support from your brother and trusted help around you, and rest in the assurance that He watches over you both night and day and hears every prayer offered in Jesus name.

Your request for your mother and for your own rest has been heard, and the weight you are carrying is understood. To watch a beloved mother become confused, disoriented and afraid, to be called through the night and never know what will happen next, brings deep tension and weariness. A racing heart, broken sleep and constant worry are a heavy burden to bear.

Scripture speaks of two kinds of peace, and both are for you. First there is peace with God. We were at war with God because of sin, but through the blood of Jesus Christ that war is ended. When your sins are forgiven through faith in Him, you are no longer at enmity with God but reconciled to Him. That peace with God is the foundation. Then there is the peace of God, that quiet steadiness that guards the heart and mind even when circumstances remain difficult. Jesus said, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you, not as the world gives. The peace the world offers depends on everything going well. His peace can remain when nothing around you is calm, and it passes all human understanding.

The promise given through Isaiah is that God will keep in perfect peace the one whose mind is stayed on Him, because that person trusts in Him. That is the key to knowing this peace day by day. When your thoughts are fixed on the Lord, on His character, His care, His power to carry what you cannot carry, His peace begins to fill your heart. It does not come by trying to calm yourself, but by turning your mind toward Him and trusting that He will take care of what concerns you. The wisdom from above is peaceable, and when you bring your cares to God in prayer with thanksgiving, His peace will keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus.

God has not forgotten you or your mother. His thoughts toward you are thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you hope. He wants you to live in peace and He has ordained peace for His people. He hears when you call upon Him and pray to Him. He is the God of peace who desires to be with you and to comfort you in this long and painful trial.

We pray for you and for your mother in the name of Jesus. Father, we ask for Your mercy upon this dear mother who is suffering with loss of memory, confusion and panic. Lay Your hand of comfort upon her, calm her fear, and grant her sweet and restful sleep. Quiet her heart and let her know Your nearness. We ask for healing according to Your will, and for Your grace to sustain her and her family each day. For this child who is tense and weary, who lies awake with a fast beating heart and anxious thoughts, we ask for Your perfect peace to guard heart and mind. Teach us to keep our minds stayed on You and to trust You with what we cannot control or understand. Lift this burden of worry, bring deep rest in the night, and let Your peace rule in this home. Break the power of confusion and fear, for You are our peace and our healer, and the war is over for those who are in Christ. We thank You that You hear our prayers and that You will supply what is needed according to Your riches in glory through Christ Jesus. Amen.
