Healing Alzheimer...stomach...depression...diabetes...

Beloved of All
My old mother ### healing of Alzheimer, diabetes and depression. Memory+time and space orientation.

Healing for me. Sadness about my deceased father (### months ago).

Healing for me - no pain, inflammation, swelling or irritation in my body. Especially stomach, dental flesh/teeth.

We join with you in bringing these burdens before our Heavenly Father and we lift up your heart and your mother's needs together in prayer.

We bring your mother before the Lord asking for His healing touch upon her body and mind. We pray for healing from Alzheimer's, diabetes and depression, and for restoration of her memory and her orientation to time and space. Nothing is too hard for the Lord and we trust His power and compassion to sustain her. As it is written, He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds, Psalm 147:3, and Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, Psalm 103:2-3. We also cling to the promise, But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, Jeremiah 30:17, and By his wounds you are healed, Isaiah 53:5.

We also lift you up in your grief over your father who passed months ago. We understand the deep sadness that comes with such a loss and we pray the Lord will comfort you and bring His peace to your mourning. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit, Psalm 34:18. We pray He will carry your sorrow and replace heaviness with hope, for we do not grieve as those who have no hope when we are in Christ. We pray for your own body as well, for freedom from pain, inflammation, swelling and irritation, especially in your stomach and in your dental flesh and teeth. We ask the Lord to calm inflammation, to bring healing to your stomach and to your mouth, and to restore you to health and strength.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ and we want to gently share how precious and necessary His name is. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and it is only through Him that we are saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, confessing Him as Lord, for If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved, Romans 10:9. It is in His name we pray with confidence.

Let us pray together. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear mother to You. Touch her mind and body, Lord, ease the effects of Alzheimer's, steady her blood sugar, lift the cloud of depression, and restore her memory and her ability to know time and place. Give her peace and comfort and surround her with Your loving care. We also lift up Your child who is grieving and hurting. Comfort this heart in the loss of their father, wipe away tears, and fill this sadness with Your presence and hope. Heal also this body from stomach distress and from pain and inflammation in the teeth and gums. Take away swelling and irritation and bring complete healing according to Your will. Help us to cast all our worries on You because You care for us, 1 Peter 5:7, and to not be anxious but to bring every request to You with thanksgiving, so that Your peace which surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7. We ask all this in the healing and saving name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek wise medical care while trusting the Lord as your ultimate healer, to rest in His Word daily, and to bring every worry to Him in prayer. He sees you and your mother, He knows your grief, and He is faithful to carry you through. Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest, Matthew 11:28.

We have been praying as we read your request. Caring for an aging mother with Alzheimer's, diabetes and depression while you are still grieving your father is a lot to carry, and then to be dealing with your own pain in your stomach and teeth on top of sadness makes it even heavier.

We are asking God to meet you both with His nearness and care. For your mother, we pray for comfort, dignity, safety, and for wisdom for you and any doctors and caregivers who support her, especially with memory and orientation. For you, we pray for healing and relief from inflammation and pain, and for comfort in the grief that is still fresh after losing your father months ago.

A gentle next step alongside prayer is to keep your care providers in the loop. If you have not already, it helps to let your primary care doctor know about the ongoing stomach irritation and swelling, and to see a dentist promptly for the gum and teeth pain, so they can check what is happening and guide next care. For your mother, staying in close contact with her medical team about any changes can also bring peace of mind.

We also encourage you not to grieve alone. A trusted pastor, counselor or close friend to talk with regularly can be a steady support in these months.

Father, we lift them and their mother to You in Jesus' name. Bring Your comfort to their grief, Your peace to their home, and Your wisdom to every doctor and dentist involved. Sustain them day by day and draw them close to You. Amen.

There is comfort appointed for you in this season of affliction, and it comes from a sure source. The Lord saith, Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, and He speaks not as one who cannot feel for you, but as One who has provided healing in abundance.

For your dear mother in her great age and infirmity, we will carry her case to the great Physician. What a mercy that the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and that even the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. We will pray that the Lord in His compassion would lay His hand upon her, and ease the burden of this disease of the memory, restore to her as it may please Him a measure of remembrance and of knowledge of time and place, and grant relief from the heaviness of diabetes and the cloud of depression. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before, and there is no sickness too deep for His power to reach, for healing and pardon flow together from the same gracious hand.

For yourself also we will pray. Sorrow for a father lately taken is a wound that bleeds long, and the blueness of such a wound is often for our healing, though it be painful to bear. Time is a healer under God, and that misery shall yet be as waters that pass away, but there is a more present comfort. This is my comfort in my affliction, for Thy Word hath quickened me. When the Lord would comfort us He often does it not by a distinct act alone, but by quickening us by His Spirit through His Word, so that we are lifted up and made to live anew. May He quicken you in your sadness, and give you to press His Word to your bosom and say, This is my comfort.

We will pray also for your body, that the Lord would graciously remove pain and inflammation and swelling and irritation, and give healing especially to the stomach and to the teeth and gums. He who healed all manner of sickness among the people is still Master over the body, and He knows how to give rest to the weary frame. Seek Him much in prayer, for it is little prayer that brings us low and great prayer that lifts us up, and cast your whole care upon Him who careth for you.

May our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and God even our Father, comfort your heart and establish you in every good word and work, and may the Sun of Righteousness rise upon you with healing in His wings. We commend you and your mother to Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, trusting His wise and loving will.
