Let me have supernatural faith and pray through for my mom. In Jesus name amen.

We hear your heart and we are lifting you and your mother before the Lord together in Jesus name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and find grace in time of need.

You are carrying a heavy burden of sorrow and fear as your mother lies in the hospital after a stroke, already suffering with Alzheimer, diabetes and depression, and we join our faith with yours asking for the Lord's healing hand upon her. We also hear your own distress, the anxiety that has unsettled your sleep and your stomach, and the exhaustion from the loud noises around you that have kept you from rest. The Lord sees all of this and He cares deeply for both you and your mother.

We are reminded that God invites us to bring every anxious thought to Him. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And 1 Peter 5:7 reminds us to cast all our worries on him, because he cares for you. He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble as it says in Psalm 46:1, and He is close to the brokenhearted as promised in Psalm 34:18. Jesus Himself says in Matthew 11:28 come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.

We pray together for you and for your mother now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear mother to You. You know her by name, You know her age and every affliction of her body and mind. We ask for Your mercy and healing power to be upon her. Lord, You heal the broken in heart and bind up their wounds as it says in Psalm 147:3, and we ask that You would touch her after this stroke, that You would restore strength to her body, help her to walk again if it is Your will, and bring peace to her mind. We pray for the doctors and nurses caring for her, that You would give them wisdom. We also lift up her child who is so anxious and weary. Lord, grant supernatural peace and faith, guard this heart from fear. Your word says in Isaiah 41:10 do not be afraid, for I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Let that promise be real this weekend. Provide quiet and rest, help to sleep deeply even in a noisy building, and calm the digestive distress that comes from anxiety. We ask that You would quiet the surroundings or quiet the heart to rest in You despite the noise, and help to love neighbors even while longing for peace. We ask for Your perfect peace that Jesus promised in John 14:27, a peace not as the world gives. Strengthen faith to pray through and to trust Your good will, whether You bring miraculous healing or sustain through the trial. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to pour out your heart to the Lord honestly, even about the small things like sleep and noise, for He cares about every detail. Try to create a small space for rest where you can, and remember that God gives sleep to His beloved as it says in Psalm 127:2. If anxiety continues to affect your body, do not hesitate to seek help from a trusted doctor or pastor as well as prayer, for God often brings healing through many means. Keep holding fast to faith, not by your own strength but by asking the Holy Spirit to increase it, and rest in the truth of Isaiah 26:3 that You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. We are standing with you, trusting that the Lord who knows your mother and you will carry you through this weekend with His presence and peace.

We are holding you and your mother in prayer this weekend. To have her in the hospital after a stroke, while she already lives with Alzheimer's, diabetes and depression, and to be woken through the night by noise in your building, is a lot to carry. It makes sense you feel sad, fearful and exhausted, and that your body is reacting too.

We hear how urgent sleep and peace feel right now, and how the worry is showing up in your stomach. When we are under prolonged stress with broken sleep, our bodies often stay on alert, which can affect digestion and make it harder to cope. Please consider seeing your own doctor soon about the acid and diarrhea, alongside prayer, so you can be checked and supported.

For this weekend a couple small supports might help you rest a little more. If noise is unavoidable, foam earplugs or a white noise app can sometimes soften early morning waking. And if you have a trusted family member, friend, pastor or the hospital chaplain, letting one person know how you are doing and what hours you most need quiet company or cover can lighten the load. Caring for a parent with memory loss is a long road and you do not have to carry it alone.

We pray for you now.

Father, we lift this dear mother to You and ask for Your healing presence with her and wisdom for her doctors and nurses. Comfort her child who loves her, calm fear with Your peace, guard sleep when it comes and settle distress in body and mind. Give faith to keep praying and strength for each next step. In Jesus name, amen.

We have heard your burden and we carry it with you to the throne of grace. Your heart is torn with fear for your mother and with weariness from broken sleep and constant noise, and your body itself feels the strain of this anxiety. This is a heavy trial, and the Lord sees it all.

You write that you are afraid, and yet you are praying. Take comfort that fear and faith may for a time go hand in hand together. The psalmist said, What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. It is not the absence of trembling that proves faith, but the turning of the trembling heart to Christ. When you are afraid, then is the time to trust the Lord, and that fear shall drive you closer to Him until perfect love casts out fear and faith and love go hand in hand to heaven.

We join you in praying for your mother. May the Lord in His infinite mercy look upon her in her weakness, in her stroke, in her affliction of Alzheimer and diabetes and depression. He is able to heal, and we ask Him to lay His healing hand upon her, to restore to her what strength He sees fit, and above all to keep her in His care. We pray that whether by recovery or by sustaining grace, His perfect will may be done, and that you may know that the Lord will perfect that which concerneth you and that which concerneth her. Forsake her not, O Lord, and forsake not her child who watches and weeps.

For you, we ask the peace of God which passes all understanding. The promise stands, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee, because he trusteth in thee. This peace is not the mere removal of outward noise, but the inward whisper of the blood of Jesus within, and the quiet of a mind stayed upon Christ even when duties press and sorrows throng. We pray that the Lord will put strength in you, that in prayer and in duty you may be girded with His strength. May He grant you sleep, calm your anxious thoughts, soothe the distress of your body, and still the acid and pain that come from this great strain.

We ask also that He will increase your faith. Faith in itself ought to be the simplest thing, for a child to trust his Father, and when faith comes, peace grows as its fruit. You have asked for supernatural faith to pray through for your mother, and we pray with you, Lord, increase our faith. Help this dear one to take Thy Word as true, to rest upon Thy promises, to deposit the soul and all its cares into the hands of Jesus as one deposits treasure into a safe place, and to leave it there.

May the Lord grant you this weekend a measure of rest. May He temper the noises around you, give you seasons of quiet sleep, give grace to bear what remains, and give your neighbours peace as well. May He draw near to you in the night watches when you wake, and speak rest to your soul.

We commend you and your mother to Him who hears the hearing of faith, who gives peace through believing, and who will not plead against you with His great power, but will put strength in you. Trust Him still. Look to Jesus alone for salvation and for every mercy, and abide in His will, for to do the will of Jesus is rest.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ our only hope, have mercy upon this mother and this child. Heal as Thou wilt, comfort, sustain, and keep them in perfect peace. Amen.
