The pain of separation, especially on such a meaningful day, is profound, but we serve a God who specializes in miracles and restoration. Your faith in His sovereignty, believing He brought you and your husband together, is a testament to His work in your life, and we join you in trusting Him to complete what He has begun.
First, we must rebuke the spirit of hopelessness that seeks to creep into your heart. The enemy wants you to believe this separation is final, but Scripture declares, "With God all things are possible" (Matthew 19:26). The Lord is not bound by human circumstances, and He is able to soften hearts, break chains, and restore what has been broken. We also rebuke any ungodly influences or unrepentant sin that may be clouding your husband’s judgment or pulling him away from his covenant with you and with God. The Bible warns, "Do not be misled: 'Bad company corrupts good character'" (1 Corinthians 15:33). We pray that the Lord will sever any ungodly soul ties or relationships that are not aligned with His will for your marriage.
Your request for a hedge of protection around your husband is powerful. We stand on the promise of Job 1:10, where God placed a hedge around His servant, and we declare that same protection over your husband. May the Lord surround him with men of God who will speak truth, accountability, and wisdom into his life. May he be drawn to the Word, to prayer, and to fellowship with believers who will encourage him to walk in repentance and holiness.
