We hear your heart’s cry and stand with you in prayer, lifting up both your family’s financial struggles and your deep desire for your marriage to be blessed and recognized according to God’s will. First, we want to affirm that your faith in Jesus is the foundation of our response, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome every trial. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says Yahweh, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11). We declare this promise over your life and your family’s circumstances.

Let us first address your family’s financial burden. Three years of suffering is a heavy weight to carry, and we recognize the strain this has placed on your household. We pray that your father would indeed find a job soon in , and that the Lord would open doors no man can shut. "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). We rebuke the spirit of lack and delay in the name of Jesus and command every financial obstacle to be removed. Father, we ask that You provide wisdom for your father to seek employment diligently, and that You would bless the work of his hands. May he find favor with employers and may his skills and experience be recognized and rewarded. We also pray for provision in every area of your family’s life, bills, debts, and daily needs, so that you may experience the peace that comes from trusting in God’s faithfulness.

Now, regarding your marriage, we must speak with both truth and love, for the Word of God is clear about the sanctity of marriage and the path to entering into it. You mentioned being in a "relation" with this man for four years, and while we understand your desire for your parents’ blessing, we must gently but firmly address the reality of your situation. The Bible is clear that sexual intimacy is reserved for marriage between one man and one woman (Hebrews 13:4, 1 Corinthians 6:18-20). If you and this man have been physically intimate outside of marriage, this is fornication, and it grieves the heart of God. We urge you to repent and seek the Lord’s forgiveness, for "if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). We also encourage you to honor your parents’ wishes, even if they are difficult, for the Word commands us to "honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you" (Exodus 20:12). Their resistance may be rooted in concern for your well-being, and we pray that the Lord would soften their hearts to see His will for your life.

However, we also recognize that your parents’ refusal to accept this man may be based on unbiblical reasons, such as cultural traditions, personal preferences, or even prejudice. If this is the case, we pray that the Lord would give you and your future husband the courage to seek His will above all else. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and it is vital that both of you are equally yoked in faith (2 Corinthians 6:14). If this man is a believer who loves the Lord and seeks to honor Him, then we pray that your parents would come to see him as a godly choice for you. But if there are legitimate concerns, such as unrepentant sin, a lack of faith, or incompatibility, we urge you to seek the Lord’s wisdom rather than rushing into a union that may not be His best for you.

We pray for a miracle, as you have asked, but we also pray for patience and discernment. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6). We ask the Lord to either change your parents’ hearts or give you the strength to wait for His timing and His choice for your spouse. If this man is indeed the one God has for you, then no opposition will be able to stand against His plan. But if he is not, we pray that the Lord would close this door and lead you to the spouse He has prepared for you.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear sister and her family. Lord, we ask that You would break the chains of financial struggle that have bound them for these three years. Provide for their every need, open doors of employment for her father, and let Your provision overflow in their lives. We rebuke the spirit of lack and declare that they will not be in want, for You are their Shepherd (Psalm 23:1).

Father, we also lift up her desire for marriage. We ask that You would give her and her future husband clarity and wisdom. If this man is Your choice for her, soften her parents’ hearts and let them see him through Your eyes. If he is not, close this door and lead her to the spouse You have prepared for her. Lord, we repent on her behalf for any sin of fornication, and we ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing. Help her to walk in purity and honor as she waits for Your will to be done.

We declare that this struggle will not last forever. We speak breakthrough, restoration, and blessing over her family and her future marriage. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and fasting, for "the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much" (James 5:16). Surround yourself with godly counsel, and trust that the Lord is working even when you cannot see it. Your breakthrough is coming, and we stand with you in faith until it manifests.

We’ve been sitting with your words, and we can hear how wearying it is to face financial strain that just won’t let up for three long years, and at the same time to carry the heartache of wanting your parents’ blessing on the man you hope to marry, watching year after year go by with no change. That’s a lot for anyone to hold, and we don’t want to rush past how heavy it must feel.

Something we notice is that when a family is under extended financial pressure, it often reshapes how everyone sees the future and can make parents especially cautious, even fearful, about big decisions like marriage. They may be struggling to see beyond their own anxiety. That doesn’t make your waiting any easier, but it might help you understand that their resistance could be tangled up with a season of survival-mode that isn’t really about you or him.

One practical step we’d gently suggest: if you haven’t already, consider inviting your parents into a calm conversation, not to argue your case again, but to ask them to share what specifically worries them. Really listen, and then ask if they’d be willing to talk with a pastor or an older couple you all trust, just to have wise outside voices walk with all of you. Sometimes a third party can help unlock what years of private tension cannot.

For the finances, we’d encourage your dad, maybe with your quiet support, to reach out to any local church or community job-networking groups. You might be surprised what connections surface when people simply know he’s looking.

We’re praying with you now.

Lord Jesus, you see this family’s long season of financial strain and this daughter’s ache for both provision and parental understanding. Please open a door of employment for her father soon, something steady and sufficient. Sustain them; give them surprising helps along the way. And for this marriage hope, we ask for wisdom and softened hearts all around. Guard everyone from bitterness while they wait. Give her discernment and patience, and move her parents toward whatever truly aligns with your good will. We trust you with both the money and the relationship. In your name, Amen.

Your present trial of financial distress is no surprise to your heavenly Father. He numbers the hairs of your head and knows you have need of daily bread. This is the true view of the Father, He is your Father, your God, your Savior’s Father, your Savior’s God, and He bids you trust Him as a child who does not know what today or tomorrow may require, but leaves it all to His wise care. He who gave His own Son for you will certainly supply every need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Wait upon Him with prayer and honest labor, and you shall find Him a better Father than the best of fathers could ever be, faithful, tender, and unfailing. Let no thought of premature death or lingering poverty alarm you, for the great Father of spirits searches the heart, and if your faith is fixed on Jesus’ blood and righteousness, you shall see the face of God with acceptance.

Concerning your longing for marriage, I charge you first to seek acceptance with God through Him who is the Beloved. There can be no pardon or true union for any soul save by that bloody sacrifice Christ offered on Calvary. Make certain you are married to Him by living faith, for Jesus is the Father of the age to come, the Patron of all who put their trust in Him. As for an earthly union, marriage is a relationship of solemn choice and mutual love, a covenant where two become one flesh. It is not a light thing to enter, nor can it prosper if it dishonors the parents God has set over you. When our Lord asks, “If I am a Father, where is My honor?” He reminds us that filial duty carries weight. I do not say that your affections are misplaced, but I do say: settle it in your soul that if this man is truly God’s provision for you, He who makes all things beautiful in His time will incline your parents’ hearts as He pleases. Yet you must also be ready to bow and say, “Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight,” if His answer be delay or denial. The Father’s acceptance of you in Christ is full and free; bring your earthly hopes under that blessed shadow. Pray, wait, honor your father and mother, and let the peace of God rule in your heart. He may do what you cannot ask or think, but only let your first and deepest marriage be to the Son of His love, who ever lives as the everlasting Father to His people and will never lose one child of His hand.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request speaks of trials stretching over years, both in your household’s poverty and in your longing for marriage. This is the very furnace where long-suffering is forged, and I would not have you despise the lesson. For long-suffering is the root of all self-denial, and a soul that possesses it is like a strong city no sudden calamity can overthrow. You have endured these burdens for three years and four years, this is no small thing. Yet consider: God’s delays are never barren. Just as a child does not spring fully formed from the womb but waits nine months in silence and darkness, so the mystery of His providence often requires a time of hidden preparation before the joy appears. He is long-suffering toward us, not that we might use His patience as an excuse for faintheartedness, but that we might be schooled in meekness and forbearance.

Examine yourselves, then, whether this waiting might be a merciful shield. You ask for a miracle to change your parents’ minds. But have you asked first whether your own conduct invites their blessing? For it is a grievous thing when young people, burning with impatience, cast off the yoke of obedience and imagine that a mere prayer will compel God to overturn the order He has set. The Apostle bids you walk with all lowliness and meekness, with long-suffering, bearing with one another in love. Are you so walking toward your parents, or has this four-year struggle bred bitterness and secret disobedience? If your union is honorable and chaste, then wait upon the Lord. He who knit you in the womb can change hearts in a moment, but He often withholds the gift to give you a far greater one: a soul made impenetrable by patience.

But I must also warn you: many who cry out for marriage today are secretly underminded by the corrupting spirit of this age. Tell me, do not the theatres and profane amusements of the world kindle passions that poison households? Whence come adulteries, the contempt of wives for husbands, the sundering of families, if not from those spectacles that turn holy nuptials into a jest? If you have dipped into such things, repent, for you cannot expect God’s blessing while entertaining the lusts that ruin marriage. Let your lives be pure, a living sacrifice, and then your parents’ resistance may prove to be a trial that purifies, not a sentence that destroys.

As for the financial burden, it is a no less precious teacher. When a man lacks daily bread, he learns whether his trust is in the living God or in coins that rust. Do not fix your eyes upon your father’s employment as though that were your deliverance. Seek first the kingdom, and all these things shall be added. The three years of want have been a season for your souls to stretch out toward heaven; do not let them be wasted by anxious fretting. Long-suffering here too is your strong city. A spark that falls into the deep is quenched at once; so every sudden fear, when it drops upon a soul enlarged by patience, vanishes and troubles it not.

Pray, then, but pray with a spirit that says, “If peradventure God will grant repentance and a change of heart to those who oppose us.” That word “peradventure” is full of hope and humility. It does not demand a sign but trusts the physician’s knife. Bear with your parents as you would have God bear with you. Continue in lowly supplication, and if your cause is just, He who sees in secret will reward you openly. But be content to be proven genuine first. For God is good even when He stings, and His long-suffering toward us is meant to lead us to repentance, not to a greater fall. Do not make His goodness a plea for insisting on your own time. Instead, let these years of delay become years of gaining great understanding, so that when the miracle comes, whether it be a job, acceptance, or a better portion altogether, you may receive it with a heart made spacious and unshakeable.

I hear the weight of these years of struggle, the long wait for provision and the ache for your parents’ blessing. You are not alone in crying out for answers. So much of life lands on us in ways we never expected, and the waiting can wear us down until we wonder if God is even listening.

The account of Job reminds us that even the most upright can suffer without knowing why. His friends insisted that his pain must be the result of some hidden sin, that if he would just get right with God everything would turn around. But they were wrong. Job’s suffering was not punishment. It was a test allowed by God to prove the genuineness of his faith. And in the middle of all that anguish, Job cried out for someone to stand between him and God, someone who could lay a hand on both, bridging the gulf he felt. That cry is answered in Jesus Christ. He is the one who touches the Father and takes hold of us at the same time. He became our mediator, our advocate, our daysman. Through him you can pour out every fear, every disappointment, every longing, knowing you are heard with compassion.

Financial strain can make it feel like the ground is giving way. Three years is a long time to watch your family struggle. Job lost everything in a single day, yet he refused to curse God. He didn’t pretend to understand; he wept and questioned and held on. Bring that burden to the Lord again. Ask him to open a door for your father’s employment, but also ask him to sustain your family in the waiting. Sometimes God’s provision comes in ways we never would have chosen, yet it teaches us to rely on him alone.

As for your relationship, the desire for your parents’ acceptance is deep and real. But here we must be careful. Job’s friends were quick to defend what they thought God should do, yet they spoke falsely about him. I cannot presume to know God’s will for this specific man and your future together. What I do know is that any marriage built to last needs his blessing and must align with his Word. So I encourage you not just to pray for your parents’ minds to change, but to seek the Lord with an open heart. Ask him to make his will unmistakably clear to you, to this man, and to your parents. If this union is from him, he can soften hearts in his time and his way. If there are genuine concerns that need to be addressed, better to face them now than later. Jesus is not only your mediator; he is your shepherd. He leads you into truth, even when the truth is hard.

Job’s story did not end with quick answers. He sat in the ash heap while his well-meaning friends piled on accusations. But after the long silence, God spoke, and Job’s perspective was transformed. He never got a full explanation; he got something better: a fresh vision of who God is. That drew him to repentance and trust. I pray the same for you, that in this season of not knowing, you would see the Lord’s greatness and his tender care. May you find strength to wait, courage to examine your life honestly, and peace that rests not on circumstances but on the one who holds your future. Jesus is with you in the ache. He will carry you through.
