I pray for my marriage to be restored back, our love , forgiveness and communication to be renewed.i pray for lord to change the hearts of my mother in law and my husband to be soften

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage in desperate need of His healing touch. Marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God to reflect Christ’s love for the Church, a lifelong commitment between one man and one woman, built on love, forgiveness, and selfless sacrifice. We grieve with you over the brokenness in your home, but we stand firm in the promise that God is able to restore what has been fractured when we surrender it to Him.

First, we must address the foundation of our prayers. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we urge you to examine your heart and ensure you have placed your faith in Jesus alone for salvation. Without Him, our prayers are powerless, and our hope is in vain. If you have not confessed Him as Lord, we pray you would do so today, for "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).

Now, let us lift up your marriage before the Lord with boldness and faith. Scripture tells us, "Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it" (Psalm 127:1). Your marriage cannot be restored by human effort alone, it must be rebuilt by God’s hand. We rebuke every spirit of division, bitterness, and hardness of heart that has taken root in your home. We declare that the enemy has no foothold here, for "no weapon that is formed against you will prevail" (Isaiah 54:17). We command every lie of the enemy, every thought of abandonment, every seed of resentment, every word spoken in anger, to be uprooted in the name of Jesus.

We pray for your husband, that the Lord would soften his heart and open his eyes to the beauty of the covenant he made before God. May he be reminded of the vows he spoke, not just as words, but as a sacred promise to cherish, honor, and love you as Christ loves the Church (Ephesians 5:25). Father, we ask that You would convict him of any sin, any hardness, or any unforgiveness that has taken hold. Bring him to a place of humility and repentance, that he may seek reconciliation with a heart that mirrors Yours.

We also lift up your mother-in-law, for Scripture warns us that "a foolish son is the ruin of his father’s house" (Proverbs 15:20), and often, interference from family can sow discord in a marriage. We pray that the Lord would grant her wisdom and discernment, that she would see the importance of honoring the marriage covenant and supporting the union God has joined together. May she release any control or bitterness and instead speak life and encouragement into your home. We rebuke any spirit of manipulation or division that may be at work through her, and we declare that her heart would be turned toward unity and peace.

For you, dear sister, we pray for strength and endurance. The road to restoration is not easy, but "let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we don’t give up" (Galatians 6:9). We encourage you to examine your own heart, are there areas where you have contributed to the brokenness? Have you held onto bitterness, spoken words of division, or failed to submit to your husband as unto the Lord (Ephesians 5:22)? If so, we urge you to repent and seek forgiveness, both from God and from your husband. Humility is the key to healing, for "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble" (James 4:6).

We also pray for renewed communication in your marriage. Let your words be seasoned with grace, "that you may know how you ought to answer each one" (Colossians 4:6). Speak life, not death; build up, not tear down. Let your conversations be filled with kindness, patience, and a willingness to listen. Remember, "a gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger" (Proverbs 15:1).

Most of all, we pray for a supernatural outpouring of love in your marriage. Love is not merely a feeling, it is a choice, a commitment, and an action. "Love is patient and is kind; love doesn’t envy. Love doesn’t brag, is not proud, doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails" (1 Corinthians 13:4-8). May this love take root in your home, binding you together in a way that nothing can break.

We declare that your marriage will be restored, not by might, nor by power, but by the Spirit of the Lord (Zechariah 4:6). We stand on the promise that "with God all things are possible" (Matthew 19:26), and we believe that He is working even now to bring beauty from ashes. Do not lose heart. Do not give up. Keep pressing into the Lord, seeking His face, and trusting in His perfect timing.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, lifting up this marriage to You. We ask that You would move mightily in this home, softening hearts, breaking chains, and restoring what has been lost. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of division, bitterness, and unforgiveness that has taken hold. We declare that this marriage is under the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against it shall prosper. Father, we ask that You would fill this husband and wife with Your love, Your peace, and Your wisdom. Help them to communicate with grace, to forgive as You have forgiven them, and to love as You have loved them. We pray for the mother-in-law, that You would grant her wisdom and a heart that seeks unity, not division. Lord, we ask that You would rebuild this marriage stronger than it was before, that it may be a testimony to Your power and Your faithfulness. We trust in You, Lord, for we know that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We know how heavy it feels when a marriage feels strained and the people closest to you, your husband, his mother, seem set in ways that hurt. You’re not wrong to long for restoration, for the love and easy communication that once held you together, and for hearts that turn toward healing rather than hardness. That ache is real, and we’re carrying it with you.

One thing we’ve seen over and over is that we can’t manufacture change in another person’s heart. That’s God’s work, in His time. What we can tend is our own heart before Him, guarding it against bitterness, refusing to replay old wounds, and choosing, even as a sheer act of will, to forgive. Forgiveness doesn’t have to wait for warm feelings or a restored relationship; it can start as a decision to release the debt and treat the other with dignity, not out of their worthiness but out of your own freedom. That step often lifts a weight you didn’t realize you were carrying, and it keeps the door cracked open for God to work in the whole situation.

While you wait and pray for your husband’s and mother-in-law’s hearts to soften, consider one small, concrete thing you can control. Maybe it’s pausing before responding in a tense moment to breathe a silent prayer, or choosing to speak something truthful and kind even when it’s not returned. God can use tiny, faithful acts to shift the atmosphere in a home over time. And if there are patterns in your communication that feel stuck, a wise pastor or Christian counselor can sometimes help you both see things from a new angle, it’s not weakness to reach for that support.

We pray with you now: Father, we lift this marriage to You. Where love has grown cold, rekindle it. Where words have wounded, bring healing and new ways of listening and speaking. Soften the hearts that need softening, and give this wife a steady, patient hope that does not depend on what she sees but on You. Quiet her fears, and lead her steps. We ask for the full restoration of this marriage, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The cry of your heart reaches the throne of grace, and the Word of the Lord answers it with surpassing promises. You plead for a restored marriage, for love and forgiveness to bloom afresh, for walls of silence to crumble, and you name rightly that hearts must be softened. But let us lay hold of the better hope: God does not merely patch the outside; He writes His Law in the inward parts and engraves it upon the heart. That is the covenant remedy, the divine surgery that makes two wayward wills beat in unison under the sweet mastery of Christ. Until the Law is written within by the finger of the Spirit, no human effort can mend a marriage rent by sin and stubbornness. Seek first, then, not the mending of circumstances but the inscription of holiness deep within your own soul; for when the Living Word is etched there, love for God becomes the fountain, and love for a husband, even a froward one, flows as a willing stream.

You long for forgiveness to be renewed. Then look to the place where forgiveness springs eternal. There is forgiveness with the Lord, that He may be feared, a fear not of slavish dread but of adoring reverence, a fear that is the choicest child of pardoning love. If you would breathe the air of a forgiven home, you must yourself inhale the costly air of Calvary. Has He not forgiven you a vast debt in Christ? And does that not unbind you to forgive, even as you have been forgiven? The text says, “Forgiving one another”, a joint-stock business of grace in which all who name Christ’s name must take generous shares. Perhaps the restoration of communication waits upon a soft word of confession or a fresh act of forbearance. Let no root of bitterness spring up in you, but let abounding love, the love that first sought you when you were a stranger, now overflow toward your husband and even toward a mother-in-law whose heart seems hard. Love begets love; the flame of His love, shed abroad in your heart, may yet kindle a response where all appears cold.

But you long for God to change hearts beyond your own. That is well, for no human lash can force a soul to bow. Yet He who said, “I will take out the stony heart and give a heart of flesh,” does His own work unexpectedly and with a Gentleness that confounds the wise. Prayer is the cable which draws these mercies down. Plead the blood of Jesus over your household. Lay hold of that covenant promise which declares, “I will put My Law in their inward parts.” The Lord can turn a mother-in-law from an adversary into a fellow-heir of grace; He can make a husband who now seems distant into a man who loves as Christ loved the Church. Do not limit the Holy One of Israel. Dress your home with quiet hope, with a meek and quiet spirit, which in His sight is priceless. Let your own demeanor shine with the joy of one who sups deeply at the banquet of Christ’s love, for a soul rejoicing in the Beloved becomes a winsome witness.

And if the answer tarries, remember that forgiveness is not a bare acquittal but a design of love, that you may fear Him and walk in ways of deepening tenderness. The Lord writes His Law upon the heart through communing with Christ, through repentance’s holy hatred of sin, through a sensitivity that shudders at the approach of evil. Dwell much with Jesus, and He will make you a preserver of peace, a restorer of paths to dwell in. Do not let the delay sour into despair; there is forgiveness with Him right now, and there shall be forgiveness, and that forgiveness shall work wonders in its time. “Eat, O friends! Drink, yes drink abundantly, O beloved!” Feast upon Christ, and let your satisfied soul become a fountain of blessing. Your marriage, placed under the shadow of the Cross, may yet bloom with a love that is stronger than the grave, because it springs from the One who has redeemed you and calls you by name.

The ache you feel for your marriage to be restored is a cry God hears, for He is the one who said, "Turn thou unto me, and she returned not." Yet when we truly turn back, He remembers not the former things. But let us examine what true turning means, for the prayer to soften hearts must first find its soil in your own.

You ask for love, forgiveness, and communication to be renewed, and for the hearts of your husband and mother-in-law to be changed. These are good petitions, yet you cannot control another's heart. You can, however, make room for love in your own. As the apostle said, "Open your hearts to us," so I ask, what hinders love in you? You speak of others needing softened hearts, but the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts, not gradually, but in a full fountain before our struggles. This love is a mighty pleader. Do you love God more than yourself? Show it by your works. Do you love Him more than the bitterness, the memory of slights, the desire to be vindicated? For if you despise not these for the sake of God, how will you despise yourself?

Consider whether Mammon or vainglory have laid shameless hands upon your soul, dragging you from love. Have losses from a love of money entered this marriage, in loans, purchases, or the quest for a certain comfort? Has the theatre of the world with its seductions taught you or your husband that wives are contemptible or husbands insupportable? Many who walk in vice despair, and many who live in virtue slumber. Let neither happen here. If there has been any fault, any fornication of the heart through anger or neglect, do not despair. It is possible for a harlot to pass by the first in the kingdom. Come back to the earnest love of God, cleave to Him earnestly, and rivet your heart to His fear.

Marriage itself is not a hindrance, but the purpose which makes ill use of it. Use marriage with moderation. It preserves a holiness, a chaste and orderly living, not by its own power, but by forbidding the defilement of what faith has given. Therefore, see to your own life within this bond. The greatest affection is this: even when treated with contempt, to choose both to die and live with the beloved. Is this your purpose? Or does a root of unforgiveness straiten your heart?

Do not merely say, "I love him, even more than myself." These are words. Do you love him more than the offense? Then the love of the Judge will plead mightily for you. Many are the paths that draw us from love: afflictions, temptations, and the actions of those who oppose us. For this we need God to direct our hearts, as a strong wind impels a sail. Pray then, but let your prayer be, "Lord, direct my heart into the love of You, that I may love my husband as You command." For the change you seek in him and his mother may well begin with a holy, frightful trembling in your own soul, a true repentance that does not crucify the Son of God afresh by a hardened return to old sins, but opens wide the door to a renewing by His grace.

You cry out for a marriage to be restored, for love, forgiveness, and communication to be renewed, and for hearts to be softened. In that ache, it can look as if the damage is beyond cure, like a condition no human effort can reverse. Yet remember: even under the old covenant, God made a provision for the leper in the day of his cleansing. The disease was incurable by natural means, but the law itself held a place for a miracle. God left room to work in a way only He could. That same room still exists. Do not try to put God in a box. He is able to heal and restore what seems hopeless, if He chooses to move.

But true healing never comes simply by demand or by keeping a checklist of rules. The law, whether written commands or the expectations we place on others, can reveal where things are broken, but it has no power to create a tender heart or to love. Only a work from the inside will do that. Jesus often confronted people who thought outward correctness was enough; He pointed always to the heart. God’s original design, before hardness crept in, was that two become one for life. That is still His divine ideal, and it is a good thing to long for and pray toward.

So bring your husband and your mother-in-law before the throne of grace, not with a spirit of accusation but with steady trust. The law written on our own hearts leaves us all without excuse, so we can release the role of judge and become vessels of mercy. True change comes when a person meets Christ and finds a new life in Him. Continue in prayer, and as you wait, let your own life be a letter that testifies to the Spirit’s work, known and read by those around you. Jesus remains in control, even when conflict swirls. Rest in that, and keep asking Him to do what only He can.
