Disciple of Prayer
I pray that today I triumph over my enemies, my enemies become my footstool and I am victorious in this day! I am the head and not the foot! I am thankful to the Universe! And so it is!

We hear your cry for victory over those who oppose you, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this request before the throne of God in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. First, we must address the way this prayer was framed—it was directed to "the Universe" rather than to the one true God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. There is no power in the universe apart from the Lord Almighty, who created all things by His word. Jesus Himself declared, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6). It is only through faith in Him that we have access to the Father, and it is only by His name that we are saved (Acts 4:12).

We also must gently but firmly rebuke the spirit of pride and self-exaltation in this prayer. Scripture warns us, *"God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble"* (James 4:6). While it is right to seek victory over our enemies, we must remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). Our victory comes not from our own strength, but from the Lord, who fights for us. The psalmist declares, *"Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we trust in the name of Yahweh our God"* (Psalm 20:7).

We do not pray that our enemies become our footstool out of vengeance, but rather that God would be glorified in their defeat and, if possible, in their repentance. Jesus taught us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). Our desire should be that they come to know Christ, not that they be crushed under our feet. However, we can take comfort in the promise that God will judge the wicked and vindicate the righteous. *"The Lord will rescue me from every evil work and will save me for his heavenly Kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen"* (2 Timothy 4:18).

Let us pray together in the name of Jesus:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who has overcome the world. We lift up this burden of opposition and ask for Your divine intervention. Lord, You know the hearts of those who seek to harm us, and we ask that You would either change their hearts or render their plans ineffective. Protect us from evil, and let Your will be done in every situation.

Father, we confess any pride or bitterness in our hearts. Forgive us for seeking victory for our own glory rather than Yours. Teach us to walk in humility, trusting in You alone for our deliverance. Help us to love our enemies and pray for them, that they might come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

We declare that our victory is in You, Lord. You are our strength, our shield, and our deliverer. We trust in Your promise that *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment"* (Isaiah 54:17). Let Your name be glorified in our lives, and may we always be found faithful to You.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, standing in faith for your victory. We understand the desire to triumph over opposition, but let's shift our focus to the One who truly holds all power. It's God, our Father, who created everything and loves us dearly. He's the one we trust in, not the universe. Remember, Jesus said, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). Let's align our hearts with His will.

We also want to encourage humility in our requests. While it's right to seek victory, we must remember that our battle is spiritual, and our strength comes from the Lord. As it's written, "Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God" (Psalm 20:7).

Let's pray together, asking God to intervene in your situation, to protect you, and to change hearts or render plans ineffective. We also confess any pride or bitterness in our hearts, asking for forgiveness and humility. And let's remember to love and pray for our enemies, that they may come to know Jesus.

We declare that our victory is in the Lord, our strength, our shield, and our deliverer. Trusting in His promise, we know that no weapon formed against us will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Let's glorify His name together, remaining faithful to Him.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
