My brother and me...imternet provider-mess

Natasha 2

Servant of All
Lord please let my brother resolve the mess arpund internet, tv and phone connection that he rejects to resolve. I had problems with switching to another provider and he did not wanted to help me. He is comfortable in his own skin and constantly sabotaging my efforts to make my moms life more comfortable and to have less costs. Please lord 1) either show me clearly that i am not right and let everything go 2) or let him cancel the former internet provider and return their router 3) also please let him (or me) speak with the agent of a new internet provider agency and resolve mess with cable or whatever in Jesus name.
My brother is never really helping me. I have always a feeling to be on my own and forced to resolve anything on my own. He is very intelligent and more cold and sais to me that everything is complicated to me and that i am lazy and not capable. We had amazing relationship as teenagers and in university days but now i feel disconnected from him. He did not invited me or my parents to his wedding or his sons diploma receiving. It really hurts my heart. I have sometimes impression that he is waiting for my mother to die and receive all the money he can. Lord if this is not true show me.
I ASK FOR HIS SALVATION AND FOR THE SALVATION OF MY MOTHER.JESUS CHRIST IS LORD!!

We hear the pain in your heart, and we lift this heavy burden before the Lord with you. The strain between you and your brother is deeply troubling, especially when family should be a source of support and love. Scripture tells us, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men" (Romans 12:18). Yet we also know that peace is not always possible when one party refuses to engage in good faith.

First, we must address the practical matters you’ve raised about the internet and financial concerns. It is not wrong to seek efficiency and stewardship, especially when caring for your mother. The Lord calls us to wisdom in managing resources: "The wise store up knowledge, but the mouth of a fool invites ruin" (Proverbs 10:14). However, your brother’s resistance to helping resolve these issues is a reflection of a deeper relational brokenness. His words, calling you lazy or incapable, are not only unkind but also untrue in God’s eyes. The Lord has given each of us unique gifts and strengths, and we are called to build one another up, not tear down: "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing" (1 Thessalonians 5:11).

The pain of being excluded from his wedding and your nephew’s milestone is profound. Family should celebrate together, and his actions have caused deep hurt. Yet we must also examine our own hearts. Are you harboring bitterness or resentment toward him? The Bible warns, "See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many" (Hebrews 12:15). We pray that the Lord would soften your heart and reveal any unforgiveness you may be holding onto.

You’ve also expressed concern about your brother’s motives regarding your mother’s estate. This is a serious matter, and we must be cautious not to assume the worst without evidence. Scripture tells us, "Do not judge, or you too will be judged" (Matthew 7:1). However, if there is truth to your fears, we pray that the Lord would expose any unrighteousness and bring repentance. "For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open" (Luke 8:17).

Most importantly, you’ve asked for your brother’s salvation and your mother’s. This is the heart of the matter. Without Christ, there is no true reconciliation, no lasting peace. We are all sinners in need of a Savior, and it is only through Jesus that we can be made right with God: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). We rejoice that you have declared Jesus Christ as Lord, and we pray that your brother and mother would come to know Him as well.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this family before You. Lord, we ask that You would intervene in the practical matters, give wisdom to resolve the internet and financial issues, and grant favor in dealing with the providers. We pray for Your peace to reign in this home, especially as they care for their mother.

Father, we ask that You would soften the heart of this brother. Where there is hardness, bring conviction. Where there is pride, bring humility. Where there is selfishness, bring a spirit of generosity and love. Lord, we pray for reconciliation between these siblings. Heal the wounds of the past, and restore what has been broken. Help them to see one another through Your eyes, with grace and compassion.

We also lift up their mother to You. May she know Your love and peace in this season of her life. And Lord, we pray for salvation, first for this brother, that he would come to know Jesus as his Savior and turn from any sin in his life. We pray for his wife and son as well, that they would be drawn to You. And we pray for the mother, that if she does not yet know You, she would surrender her heart to Christ.

Father, we ask that You would expose any unrighteous motives or actions, and bring repentance where it is needed. Guard this family from bitterness, and fill their hearts with Your love. May Your will be done in every area of their lives.

We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved. Amen.

In the days ahead, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s wisdom and guidance. Pray for your brother daily, not just for his actions but for his heart. And remember, you are not alone, God sees your struggles and your faithfulness, and He will never leave you. "The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged" (Deuteronomy 31:8). Trust in Him, and let His peace guard your heart.

We hear the ache behind these words, the sting of being left out, the confusion over a once-close bond that now feels remote, and the lonely burden of handling practical needs alone. That kind of pain sits heavy, and we’re truly sorry you’re carrying it.

The drift you describe between you and your brother actually tracks with what many families walk through. Life events, marriage, children, career pressures, often reshape sibling relationships, sometimes pulling people apart for a season. That doesn’t make the hurt less real, but it can remind us this distance isn’t necessarily the final word. Even your shared concern for your mom could, in time, become a bridge rather than a wedge.

For the internet provider hassle, one concrete way to reduce your stress might be to simply take it on yourself, call the new provider directly, explain the situation, and see what can be untangled without your brother’s involvement. It may feel unfair, but moving forward without depending on his help could protect your heart from fresh disappointment while still moving your mom toward lower costs and more comfort.

As for the deeper questions about his motives and whether you’re misreading things, we join you in asking God for clear, quiet discernment. Your willingness even to have your own perceptions checked shows real humility.

We pray with you now.

Lord Jesus, you see this family and the fractures that hurt so much. Give this brother peace in the waiting, wisdom for the practical snarls, and true clarity about what’s really going on beneath the surface. We ask you to pursue his brother’s heart, draw their mother to yourself, and guard this one from bitterness. Let your love do what only you can do. In your name, amen.

Your cry for your brother’s salvation and your mother’s salvation reaches the heart of the Gospel. That is the common salvation of which Jude wrote, and it is the only real and lasting good you can seek for them. All this trouble with internet providers and cables is but a little smoke in the wind; the greater fire is the eternal state of their souls. Lay that upon your heart first, and let the other matters find their proper place beneath it.

You feel alone and sabotaged, and your brother’s coldness has wounded you deeply. I do not make light of that pain. But consider this: no outward resolution of a business mess will heal that wound; only the grace of God can do it. If your brother were truly saved, these other entanglements would loosen. So make this your chief prayer: that the God of all grace would look upon him with sovereign mercy. The Scripture says, “Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth.” That is a simple command, requiring no intelligence or great capability, a look. Pray that the Holy Spirit would enable him to look to Christ and find life. There is salvation for the blackest of sinners, and it is God’s own salvation, planned in infinite wisdom and provided fully in the Person of Jesus Christ. He Himself is our salvation; not a plan, not a price, but a living Saviour. Plead that for your brother.

You suspect he waits for your mother’s death to grasp her money. That is a sore accusation, and it may spring from your own hurt. Yet if it is true, what can you do? You cannot change his heart. But you can bring that very sin before the throne and ask God to break it by converting him. No man who truly meets Jesus can go on loving money and using others. Salvation delivers a man from the power of sin, from unclean desires and carnal passions. Ask the Lord either to show you clearly that you misjudge him and give you peace, or to so work in his heart that he repents of this covetousness and becomes a new creature. The Lord is able to take the most unlikely hearer, like a hard Roman jailer, and turn a whole household into a rejoicing family. Will you not believe He can do it for yours?

Meanwhile, concerning the internet provider, yes, cast that care upon the Lord. It is not too small for His notice. If it be for your mother’s comfort and your peace, He can clear the way. But guard your own spirit from bitterness. Do not let your brother’s coldness make you cold. You recall that the only way of salvation is to trust in a Person: “He that believes on Him.” That same trust must carry you through this daily trial. If you have Jesus, you have a present salvation, a perfect salvation, and it is irreversible. Let that be your joy, whatever your brother does. You cannot force him to cancel the old provider or speak to the agent, but you can ask the Lord to overrule it all. And while you wait, remember that your own salvation, the fact that God has looked on you with undeserved favour, is enough to make you rejoice, even when earthly relationships sting.

Do not neglect the simpler means of grace: bear testimony to your brother by your own patience and kindness. Perhaps he has shut you out, but a loving, quiet persistence may yet win a hearing for the Gospel. And pray on. The promise of household salvation is not nullified. The jailer’s family heard the word and were baptised that same night, and they rejoiced because they were a renewed family. May the Lord grant that scene to be repeated in your mother’s house. I leave you with this: the salvation of your brother and mother is God’s work, and He bids you look unto Him for it. Take your eyes off the cable mess and the hurt, and fix them on Jesus. He who saved you can save them. The common salvation is for all who will believe; go, and make it common by your prayers and your life. Jesus Christ is Lord indeed.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation! In the very thick of your turmoil, when your brother seems cold, when earthly matters like internet connections snarl your peace, God has placed you before His throne of grace. Do not let the moment pass; approach boldly and you will find mercy and help for this time of need.

Your cry reveals a heart wounded and perplexed, and that is not a small thing in God’s sight. But listen: these very afflictions are permitted for a purpose. The righteous often find their struggles heaviest just before deliverance, so that their gain may be greater. What you suffer now, even the rejection and suspicion, can become for you an occasion of patience, and patience produces hope, and hope is anchored in the Scriptures and in prayer. Do not, then, rush headlong into conflict. Sometimes the noblest act is to wait, to deprecate the battle rather than to seek it out, and to let the Lord Himself show you whether you are right or wrong.

You have asked God to reveal the truth. That is a prayer of humility, and He honors it. But add to it this: examine yourself with lowliness. Even after great works we are unprofitable servants. The three holy children in the furnace confessed their sins, though they were marvels of faith. So, too, you must not exalt yourself. Perhaps your brother’s coldness wounds you because you have come to rely too much on your own strength and too little on the prayers of others. Never say, “What need have I of prayer?” The Apostle Paul, who was caught up into paradise, begged the churches to pray for him. How much more do you need the intercession of the saints! Therefore, bring this request continually before the body of Christ; the laws of the Church command prayer not only for the faithful but for the uninitiated, and your brother and mother both stand in need of salvation.

That salvation, not the untangling of cable or router, is the true field of battle. Your brother’s soul is of infinite price. His absence from his own wedding feast, his silence at your nephew’s milestone, these are not merely slights against you; they are bitter fruits of a heart estranged from the life of God. Grieve for him, but let your grief drive you to prayer, not to accusation. You suspect him of greed. That may be so, or it may not. Do not darken your mind with such thoughts; instead, remember that now, while breath remains, the throne of grace is set. For he, and for your mother, today is the day when God hears and succors. Tomorrow may bring only judgment. So while you ask the Lord about routers and agents, let your soul cry far more urgently: “Save my brother! Save my mother! Jesus Christ is Lord!”

Do not let the small things consume you. The present arrangement of wires will not follow you into eternity, but the condition of your brother’s soul, and your own, will. If God grants that the internet matter is resolved, give thanks; if not, bear it as a light affliction that is working for you an eternal weight of glory. Let patience have its perfect work, that you may be refreshed together with all who labor for the gospel, even as you now hope to be refreshed with your brother in the fellowship of Christ.

Pray, then, without ceasing. Ask the Church to pray. Approach the mercy seat with boldness, but also with a heart cleansed from resentment and pride. For the Lord is at hand; the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that shall be revealed. Stand fast, therefore, and may the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. And may the same Lord grant your brother and your mother true repentance and the salvation that is in Jesus Christ, for that is the one needful thing.

The ache you are carrying goes far deeper than a tangled internet contract and a router that needs returning. That practical mess is just the surface of a long pain, a relationship that once was close and is now cold, leaving you feeling abandoned and forced to manage everything on your own. That kind of hurt from a brother cuts very deep, especially when you remember how things used to be. The resentment and the sense that he constantly sabotages your efforts to care for your mother, the feeling that he is just waiting for her to pass and take what he can, those are heavy suspicions born out of years of disconnection. And being excluded from the major events of his life only rubs salt in that wound.

In times like this, it helps to remember that God has never been a stranger to messy, fractured families. Think of Joseph, the favored son, thrown into a pit and sold into slavery by his own jealous brothers. He suffered for years under their resentment. Or consider Esther, an orphan raised by her cousin, a young woman whose entire family line was under a hidden death threat in a foreign empire. God works His purposes out over a very long timeline. He placed Joseph in Egypt decades before the famine, not just to save a nation, but specifically to preserve his family alive, the very brothers who betrayed him. God was weaving salvation into their story long before any of them could see it. The famine that made them desperate was the tool God used to bring about their rescue and their reunion.

When you cry out for the Lord to either show you clearly that you are wrong or to have your brother cancel the old provider and resolve the cable mess, you are really asking for clarity and for a burden to be lifted. It is right to pray that way, but let your deepest cry be the one that Jacob himself made in the middle of his own tangled family prophecies: “I have waited for thy salvation, O Lord.” That word salvation is Yeshua, the name of Jesus. Jacob, in the midst of a complicated home life, was ultimately crying out for the deliverer. That is the real answer for your brother and for your mother. Your request for their salvation is the most important one you have made. The internet provider problem is a momentary trouble. The eternal destiny of their souls before a holy God is the crisis that matters.

The sense of isolation you feel is heavy, but you are not truly alone. The Lord sees the hidden pain you carry, the way this relationship has broken your heart. He knows what it is to be rejected by His own. Do not be overwhelmed by the suspicion that your brother is merely waiting for an inheritance. Whether that is true or false, God will reveal it in His time. Your mother’s life and your relationship with your brother are not outside of His sight. The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all people. That grace is open to your brother, and it is open to your mother. It reaches the lowest sinner and the most hardened heart. And today is the day of salvation. Don’t stop crying out for their souls.

Let your prayer become less about forcing a specific resolution to the earthly mess and more about entrusting the entire broken situation to the captain of your salvation. He is the originator and the finisher. He is working to bring many sons, even your family, into His glory. You are His workmanship, His poem, even in the middle of this chaos. Wait for Him. Trust that He has placed you and your brother where you are for such a time as this, even if the purpose is completely hidden right now. Seek His face more than you seek the return of a router, and you may find that the salvation He brings to your heart and, in time, to your family, will outweigh every present trouble.
