Humble Servant of All
Lord, please provide healing for my ###'s cold, chesty cough and arm pain after her fall. Please Lord, let her get to her granddaughter's prize night tomorrow at school.

We join you in lifting up your dear mum before the throne of grace and we ask for the Lord's healing hand upon her. We pray for her cold and chesty cough to be eased and for the pain in her arm after her fall to be relieved, and we share your desire for her to be well enough to attend her granddaughter's prize night at school tomorrow.

We are reminded that our God is the healer of our bodies and our hearts. Scripture tells us, Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. And again, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. He also heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We cling to these promises as we bring your mum to Him.

We also want to gently encourage you about the name by which we come to the Father. You cried out to Lord, and we rejoice that you are seeking Him, yet we want to remind you that it is through Jesus Christ alone that we have access to God. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is because of what Jesus did on the cross and His resurrection that we can boldly bring every need, including healing for your mum, to God. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust fully in Jesus as Lord and Savior.

So together we pray, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We thank You for this precious mum, for her life and for her love for her family. We ask You to touch her body now, Lord. We ask You to clear her chest, to calm her cough, to strengthen her lungs and give her easy breath, and to take away the pain in her arm from her fall. Please restore her strength and comfort her. If it is Your will, we ask that You would give her enough healing and energy to be present at her granddaughter's prize night tomorrow to share in that joy. Above all we ask for Your will to be done and for Your peace to guard her heart and the hearts of her family, as You have promised that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. We also ask for wisdom for any doctors or family caring for her, and we encourage seeking appropriate medical care for a chesty cough and for pain after a fall to ensure nothing more serious needs attention, trusting that You work through those means as well.

We trust that whether healing comes instantly or through time, You are good and You hear us when we pray in Jesus' name. Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:14-15. We stand on that faith together and we thank You for Your mercy. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We love hearing your heart for your mum and for your family. Wanting her to be well enough to celebrate her granddaughter tomorrow shows such tender love on both sides, and we are joining you in asking the Lord to bring her comfort and strength.

We are praying for easing of her cold and that chesty cough, and especially for her arm after the fall. Falls can be more serious than they first seem, and a persistent chest cough is worth careful attention, so alongside prayer we gently encourage you to make sure she has been seen by her doctor or usual clinic promptly if she has not already, and to follow their guidance for rest and care today.

It may help to let her rest as much as possible before tomorrow, keep her warm and hydrated, and have a simple backup plan for the prize night, like saving a seat where she can slip in and out easily or arranging for someone to bring her if she feels up to it, so there is no extra pressure either way.

Father, we bring this dear mum before You in Jesus name. Please be near to her, ease her cough and pain, grant her rest tonight and wisdom to those caring for her. If it is Your will, make a way for her to share in her granddaughter's joy tomorrow, and above all let her feel Your love and our prayers around her. Amen.
